Worst Low on Oil elevator I have ever come across. Otis elevator in Gatlinburg TN NEEDS FLUID!

- (October 2023) It takes ALOT to make me uncomfortable on an elevator and this elevator managed to do just that. Enjoy as we take not 1, not 2, but 3 rides on this elevator. Does it ever make it up to the 3rd floor and what is Zack's reaction as I drag him on this elevator?

This is almost like no oil rather than low on oil lol! Its funny to see this elevator not make it to the third floor. Still, not good to see this elevator be neglected like this.

Reminds you of the Gulf Beach Condominiums where you rode it too much and you got stuck in it for a few minutes. Idk what the brand of elevator that is in that complex; it was similar to this. From 1988-90, you were afraid of elevators. From 2005-08, I was afraid of elevators. Filming these things got me to not be afraid of them.
Your way more brave then me! I wouldnt be able to ride such low fluid elevators.

Interesting how it actually improved the more you rode it. When it finally did open on 3 it had misleveled below the floor. Awesome video!!
Yeah, i guess getting the oil warmed up helped it.
At work, I took an elevator to 3rd floor, but it shook me like earthquake for a few minutes then it returned back to first floor and opened. I gave up and took stairs up.

@@DieselDucyI've watched ur videos for a few yrs now as a way of trying to break my fear. But, it's not funny when someone seems scared like that. Although you'd find a way to get out, he'd probably 💩 his pants 👖 if ya got stuck. I've gotten more scared over less broken elevators, so I know how it feels. When I can't take the stairs, I wind up basically begging ppl who get in b4 to go up to my floor with me. Some ppl are scared/claustrophobic of driving and even the Subway, and some are like that with elevators.
It's messed up to laugh at ppl who are scared of elevators. The mere thought of an elevator getting stuck or acting up or something as simple as taking a few seconds for the motherboard/relays to give the call instructions to the cab can be mortifying to some ppl. Think of being so scared that u can't enter even a well-maintained elevator by yourself unless it's a glass cab and extremely smooth/reliable, like Palisades Mall main elevators in Rockland County or the Marriott Marquis glass ones.

Wow! I watched the entire video! I’m glad you took 3 rides on this elevator! The 1st and 2nd trip, it was struggling to make it to the 3rd floor. 3rd trip, it made it! Also, there are some noises in the shaft that need maintenance. I hope this elevator can be refilled on oil soon!

I remember this from the short. It truely needs a few big treatments of oil and better care. 4:32 wow, I’m amazed it made it to 3 this time. Even though it wasn’t violently low when I rode an elevator in my hometown, the rattling in the elevator before showing to be low on fluid, and I thought it was scary, and it might be a competitor for this elevator

I rode that back in April of 2023 and it was already super low on fluid and barely made it to the 3rd floor... I can't believe between April and October seemingly no maintenance was done. Crazy. lol

DANG‼️ That is the absolute WORST low on oil elevator I’ve ever seen too‼️ So bad it couldn’t even make it to 3, TWICE IN A ROW‼️ Third time is certainly the charm, especially with this one‼️ I wonder if the original elevator was neglected like this and that’s what caused them to perform this mod. Seems relatively recent too. If both are the case, it isn’t doing much better than it was in its original state‼️ This one FOR SURELY needs help‼️ MOST definitely an oil change and they need to put the missing ceiling panel back because it’s missing‼️ This was clearly a Lexan originally. Zach reacted like a normal person would’ve if they rode this elevator 😂😬😳😱. What lodge is this one located in?
This oddly reminds me of when one of my childhood elevators keeps failing to close fully & times out & shuts off. I experienced it TWICE. I reported it to the place already, and I came back recently to see it broken. So hopefully they are going to repair it soon.

Eons ago, like when I was in the 7th grade.... I went to ride an elevator in an apartment building - the kind with the swinging doors. As it was coming up, it was moving ultra slow, like at leveling speed and the moment the door opened, the car dropped back down to the bottom floor. It didn't "crash" because the hydraulics slowed it's decent to leveling speed. I called it again and then went down to the bottom floor and watched it come back down again. I didn't hear any loud noises but I wonder if it was having the same issue.
My concern when you were riding this elevator, and it had finally made it to the third, that it may start going down even with the door open like was the case with the one I had seen drop down after the door opened..

This elevator needs lots of help.
When a hydraulic elevator is so low on oil it can’t make it to the top floor that’s when you know it’s really bad. This elevator needs some love for sure starting with putting more oil in.

I hope the elevator was serviced because someone could literally get stuck in that thing if that elevator continues to get neglected.

It has an unauthorized software modification! After a timeout it must stop at a nearest available floor and shut down with fully open doors and lights off.

Some Menards elevators are low on oil. Because they save big money. The Abells, ThyssenKrupps and Schumachers that aren’t maintained too well. Their Otis and Schindler ones are better.

Wow, usually the low on oil elevators aren’t this bad. And usually I would find them funny, which I really do especially for this one. But if you actually lived/worked in that building or whatever that’s just unacceptable. Should’ve been reported to management if you ask me.

Yes, but they have to be notified by the people the elevator belongs to. They don't have ESP. I'm about to throw this damn computer out the window if it keeps ignoring my when I shift to type uppercase letters. I'm sick and tired of having to repeat myself. Shift means shift!
