  • READ MORE: Ciao, this is Chef Giuseppe, and I wanted to share with you some ingredients that I really like. BEANS. The ones I like the most are the kidney beans that you see in this video, but I also love cannellini, garbanzo, and black beans!
    You can read about the benefits of incorporating beans into your diet on all the major nutrition websites. Google beans have benefits, and you will be surprised at how healthy they are for you.
    There is something about watching food cooking and its sounds that makes me relax, if you are like me, then enjoy this video!
    I like the sound of the beans cooking in the water; it is relaxing to me.
    I use beans for soups, salads, and sides for The New Modern Mediterranean Diet.
    On my website, you can find all different kinds of chili made with beans as an entree to eat for lunch; they are so yummy, and my favorite is the Chicken Chili Soup with white meat (breast) and butter beans (Lima beans so creamy!!!) with cumin, chili powder, oregano, lime juice, and cilantro. I added a little jalapeno to spice it up!
    Once a week, I like to run chilis on my weekly menu for The New Modern Mediterranean Diet testing that I have been doing here in Florida, USA.
    It is considered a full entree meal when it is served with a side salad. People coming to judge it say they like chili recipes, especially at lunch time, and they appreciate them even in the summer.
    I boil the beans after I soak them in the water overnight, and I finish them with extra virgin olive oil in my recipes-just the right portion to fit along with all the other weekly meals in the Mediterranean Italian pyramid weekly allowance. I used half a portion of white meat that will work with the DIY Mediterranean Diet Meal Plan Builder TM that I have designed to match the intakes of people living a healthy and long life around the Mediterranean Sea.
    After 2 years of studying it, testing and writing recipes, and adjusting them, I have it all organized for you! I remind you that I am a certified Executive Chef and a dietary manager, and I have been doing this for 35 years as a job.
