I've been using organic castor oil directly in my eyes for 2+ years for chronic dry eye relief, with the approval of my opthalmologist. My vision has improved after decades of wearing glasses, and I passed the DMV driving test requirements without glasses. I need no other eye drops for my dry eyes, only the castor oil morning and evening. 😊

I saw a Korean study where people were given 300grams of raw pineapple daily for 3 months. They all had reductions in their eye floaters. This was a small study group and results were based in individual observations. Red light therapy also shows improvement in eye function in some studies.

It's not what you eat, it's what you don't eat. Sugar is not effecting your vision, in India there is a vision improvement recipe with sugar and almonds. It is lack of what you are eating. I did a 1950s diet and when I was driving my vision was great and then I stopped and now it's worse. Our diets are.missing something

I know I'm going to get flack for this but I wouldn't consult my doctor before doing anything natural. Doctors have been only taught the bare essentials. In fact most of what they've been taught is so completely brainwashed into them that they'll have you on new rx meds after each appointment. They either think big pharma is a godsend or they're getting paid alot of money to write these prescriptions. I know because I use to meet with the drug reps at our office. Find a good naturalpathic doctor whose inexpensive because of they follow what they preach they won't be making huge amounts of money off of you

When I healed my own cancer with meditation on truth of God in everything and focused on letting go of unloving thoughts and attitudes and replaced them with unconditional loving ones, as well as herbs and roots, fasting and essiac tea, my GP when consulted told me to avoid the surgeon and chemo and keep doing what I'm doing, 3 mths later my bloods were healthy, my weight was stabilised(I'd lost 18kgs up until then), and I felt great with no growth in my throat anymore. He said, "I don't want to know what you did because I can't share it with anyone but whatever you're doing, keep doing it" by the time the referral to the surgeon got through, I was already well.

I am 65. I have worn glasses since I was 12. I was nearsighted and had astigmatism. I didn’t do anything without my glasses. I believe at one point I was 20/800. When I reached my late forties/early fifties, I wore progressive lenses. Two years ago I had a problem with my glasses (lens fell out), and I thought I would try driving without the glasses (it was only a three minute drive), but o noticed it wasn’t terrible and I could actually see. I stopped wearing the glasses and then went to Motor Vehicle and passed the eye test!!! I struggled a little (I believe you were allowed to get 2 or 3 wrong). I didn’t get anything wrong!! When I had my eyes tested I was 20/40 in one eye and I believe 20/70 in the other! I never wear glasses at work and at night I use reading glasses as close up is blurry but not too bad. If I am driving far or in an unfamiliar area, I use my progressive lenses.

My vision began improving a little as your eyes naturally become farsighted around 40-50. That is when I ended up with progressive lenses. The last two years my eyes improved so drastically I no longer needed glasses for distance PRAISE GOD! One eye improved to 20/40 and the other 20/70. I think they are even better now as I haven’t had a vision test in over a year. Never would I have ever thought I would not have to wear glasses again!

I ‘clearly’ remember the first day I got my glasses. I was in second grade. I struggled & struggled not to cry. I was beyond amazed. I could see clearly for the first time in my life. I could see leaves, other people’s faces, and the blackboard!! In first grade I could not see anything and my parents would scream at me for being stupid. Out of 7 children, only my brother & I needed glasses. His teacher did not buy him glasses so he would steal mine . … they were lost at a 5th grade ball game. I did not get another pair of glasses until I was 18 and bought them myself. I wonder why some people are born almost blind? Is it a birth defect?
If my mother caught me wearing glasses she would slap them off my face. So I hid them under my pillow.
My mother got glasses when she was 50. I wanted to slap them off her face sooooo bad.
I’ve used a rebounder 5/6 days a week for 13 years, to fix and avoid edema problems.

So I bought some (rather expensive) mirror lens polarised prescription lens sun glasses. But I am also very keen to try the caster oil regime that Barbara O'Neill mentions in this film.

I think also that if you look up light therapy, the infra red and short wave red light heals the mitochondria of cells generally & these wavelengths penetrste the skull.
So actually ensure you get sunlight on your eyes eg closed if direct at sun or open if not .
Perhaps only use sunglasses for midday until 4 ish when sun most intense.
But early morning and late afternoon shoukd be healing.
Try & look for a naturopathic doctor as opticians are part of mainstream medicine & they don't want us healthy.

I squirt apple cider vinegar diluted with water twice daily on a cotton ball. It may sting slightly but that's far better than going under the knife. At nighttime after the ACV dilution I place castor oil on the eyelid and around the eye below the bottom lashes. The castor oil needs to be in an amber GLASS bottle that's organic, hexane free and extra virgin oil.

If you only need them to read, maybe focus on the eye exercises to get your focal length improved.
Maybe before reading, allow time for eyes to adjust by doing the exercise of alternating between long distance & short distance for a few mins , then read.
Stress evidently can cause inflammation and this will affect sight.

Jumping jacks, bunny hop, hop scotch, jumping rope, etc. Also a drill I learned doing Kun Tao, Penjac Silat, Jeet Kune Do, Northern Shaolin Longfist, Boxing and Dancing is : Take at least 3 pillows to start and place them shoulder width apart. Start on the 1st to the left that you are facing (or right as it doesn't matter really) and hop over the pillow next to you. Then without stopping hop over the next one and yet again if using more than 3 pillows. Do this with more of a bouncing effect as you get more comfortable. This will also improve balance, coordination, stamina, breathing, heart conditioning, concentration, etc. As you get comfortable increase your speed as long as you keep your method and form perfect. I use to use chairs, night stands, buckets, saw horses or even the adjustable English Hunter/Jumper fences that I use for training my horses (both English and Western) as I got stronger, more confident and in need of more of a challenge.
This would also be considered a HIIT exercise (High Intensity Interval Training) which is much healthier, easier on the body, and sustainable. Partly because it can be fun and sometimes even silly like when you were playing as a child.
