Hey, bud. I always respond 🙂 I must admit I'm not so good with break barrels, I prefer shooting PCPs... But if you want one, my advice to you is get a good one, a Diana or a Weihrauch, something high end and dependable, something that won't let you down in the field.
I would suggest you aim for the heart and lung area, which means the center of the chest, or higher chest lower neck - it snaps the spine almost every time. Good shooting, brother 👍

This is only my second video of you shooting birds, with another being when you were shooting at pigeons. How come the doves here aren't trying to fly away and just fall to the ground, whereas with in the pigeon video (where you were aiming for head/neck shots) they looked like they were trying to get airborne in the few moments after being shot?
First of all, let me say thank you for watching William 🙂 To answer your question, with head shots it's a sudden brain death but there are still impulses going down the nervous system as it shuts down. Hence the flapping and rolling. A lot of people think they're agonising and criticise me because of that. Whereas with spine shots the wire is cut down and they can no longer move their extremities.

Good shooting , way to windy for me to shoot with sub 12ftlb in the uk🇬🇧. Can you show us your camera set up please. Just a suggestion, but try decoying from a hide it’s comfortable shooting and can be very productive when you find where the birds are feeding. It’s all I do in here in 🇬🇧 shooting sub 12ftlb in 177 I have had some good bags of pigeons and crows.

I notice how much dust is in these birds. When you shot the white one, you can see the large cloud of dust come from it, twice. Good video, enjoyable too!

Most UK air rifle channels I watch,seem to always try for head shots, a hit there is a certain kill,where you seem to go for a lot if body shots, you must injure and lose some doing that no?? Great channel tho

I mean that if there is an opportunity to buy spare parts for an etgan gun (or another leshiy2) in the store, then it’s better to follow it now because it is`n known when these parts will appear next time on tje shуlwes. as in the situation with Russian cartridges - the border is closed and it is difficult to get them now, you still need to figure out how not to break the law when buying.

Most UK air rifle channels I watch,seem to always try for head shots, a hit there is a certain kill,where you seem to go for a lot if body shots, you must injure and lose some doing that no?? Great channel tho
No, Mick, I don't 🙂 A heart and lung shot is an instant kill, especially if the projectile severs the spine.
