Many thanks, Randal, I appreciate it highly, friend, both the super thanks and you watching! 👍
Thanks for your reply. Are your permissions in Germany? I get a kick out of the bold felines> Ive been watching you from your beginning and the cats were very skittish. Having your face covered isa necessity, there's too many weirdos out there and you don't want some bird loving a~hole following you home. I understand you have a wife, what does she think about your "activities"? I see the grip you have and the cost is in the thousands!! My wife would kick my butt out of the house and land me in divorce court. You're lucky my friend.
In my picture I have a raw chicken crammed on my fist. About two seconds after this photo I smacked my nephew on the head with it!
It kinda tenderized the chicken and gave me great glee. I'm outa here. BEHAVE
@@randallwickus9883 🤣 Randal, I'm not in Germany, I prefer not to say where exactly I am. Oddly, my wife is fine with what I'm doing. I'm not hiding anything from her. Like you said, lucky me.
And you're spot on about the snowflakes - I prefer not to reveal my identity, so that I don't have to deal with them in real life - trust me, both for my sake and THEIRS 😉

After having my bald head pooped on by pigeons, Ive gone to war with the flying rats!
Wow.....tons of work went into that one!! I love how quickly that first cat scene developed. They must have been shocked when the decoys didn't fly away. 🤣
Excellent video!
These felines... 😄 They seemed to overcome the initial shock fairly quickly, no one turns down a free meal 😄
Thank you, brother, your input really means a lot!
Great idea with the decoys - Mr. White stripes got his supper as well!
Yes, Tom, so much so that I can never use decoys at that place anymore - the cats steal them almost immediately 😄 Thanks, bud 🤝🙂
The kitty cats took the decoys! 🤣🤣
@@lukerobinson9646 that's why I've given up decoying with real decoys 😉
After watching you shoot with the Veyron, I've decided to put Veyron scopes on both of my Marauders. They should make the guns lighter and the turrets are nice and they match the crosshairs. Glad to see productive use of the decoys. You went to get a bird out of the decoys and the pigeons were landing in the decoys before you got very away. Great footage and shooting.
ha ha ha the cats stealing your pigeons... very good ! 👍👍
Every time 😄 I let them. I don't mind. Thanks for watching, bud.
Those cats stealing from the decoys were hilarious. Great video, man. That pigeon jumping at 12:44 was funny 😂
Glad you enjoyed it, brother 🙂 The cats come running every time they hear us shooting airguns these days 😄
Nice! Well, at least the cats helped with clean up and they certainly appreciate your presence. I feel bad about the disrespectful treatment that you fellas experienced with the indoor permission...they are ungrateful curs. That was an astronomical job just with shooting all those birds, then the very thorough and rigorous clean up efforts you did as well.......sad that people act like they did toward you. For what it is worth, you have my respect, admiration, and gratitude. Be blessed with all that you need.
Great spine shot near the end! The new split screen footage is awesome!! Keep up that excellent "customer service"....
😄 Will try to, Eric! Thank you for the nice comment, buddy.
I identify as an super athlete! I enjoy long distance running, rowing, hiking, cycling, swimming and most importantly hunting with my air rifle! When I die I want to go to the paradise which you are now residing! It's full of things to shoot!
Well done, brother, it appears you really are into sports 👏👏 Paradise - thanks, but not really, just a place under the sun 🙂
@@AirRifleActivities The time and the place are the things that a man should be thankful about them. You are living in a great time and great place, so it's your personal paradise!
It's refreshing. I'm having a good time watching it.
Thanks, buddy 🙂 Enjoy! More content on my channel and more coming soon.
Excellent shooting, love the cats at 11:20, very interesting with the decoys and winding wire round the pellet tin 👍 Lovely clear pictures as well, top man 👏 Get great results with H&N Barricuda 18 and Match .22 pellets 🎂
Thank you, friend, I'm glad you've watched it all and found it so intriguing 🙂🤝
The way the cat looked back was like "Thank you"
Perhaps it was, cheers, bud 🙂
super good!!!!!!!! I enjoyed the puppet show with the dead birds.:)
😄 Well, the intention was a bit different than playing dolls with them, but I rather enjoyed the analogy 🙂 Cheers.
Great video, including the Apex predator 16:44 😂
Thank you, Victor 😊 The apex predator at that place also happens to be an apex freeloader 😄
nice vid and shooting, the word has really got out in the cat community for free lunch.
It might be the ultimate answer to the pest bird question: so many felines joining the party eventually, that at some point no sky rat would venture landing at this place 😄 Thanks, John.
Hey Alex, great vid as usual. Thank you for including some live action shots, the one towards the end of the video where you shot it in the back was great! I love those spine shots, its drops them instantly
I'm glad you watched my video and noticed, Dave 🙂 Thank you.

They absolutely do, and every time 😉 Not my cats though, and despite the fact they always get their free meal, they still won't let me get too close to them. Thanks, brother.
Gotta love the cats! My cats go crazy for wood pigeon!!!
I'm sure it'll love feral pigeons too, buddy 🙂 Thank you.
@@AirRifleActivities probably - but I don't take those home to butcher and eat!!
Great decoying, the cats 🐈 had a nice lunch party, well shot as usual 👏👏
Thank you, David, I think the cats there already know me and my car 😄
I own a pcp (vulcan agt) with a cz barrel and it's very good. I haven't tried it on slugs yet...
I heard the taipan is also a good rifle with a cz barrel
Hey, mate. If the CZ barrel is well made you should be able to tune your gun for shooting slugs fairly easy. It's just that sometimes their crowns are not good and then you need to go to a machinist. I've seen bad crowns on CZ barrels that came with Taipans, RTIArms and some other brands too.
@@AirRifleActivities thank you for your friendly comment about the cz barrels and the sometimes not so good crowns. Fortunately I have a lathe and other machines myself but I don't need to machine the crown since it's good as it is right from the manufacturer though the magazine is made for the jsb pellet range and does not really like heavier & longer projectiles since it is causing loading problems.
Kind regards
Bert,
Spain
Alex, your video quality is getting better and better you're right at the top in production quality. Your shooting isn't half bad either 😁😁. It's gotten so hot here I don't know when I'll be able to shoot pigeons again. Heat index is around 100°F or more most days so I'll have to live through your hunts. Keep stacking them up.
That really sucks, buddy... Please try to stay safe and don't expose yourself to extreme temperatures. It does get a bit colder from time to time, right?
Thank you kindly for speaking so fondly of the video 😊🤝
Very good idea! I need more video with decoys!
I intend to post a video of this sort from time to time, maybe even try to decoy some other pest birds, like crows or magpies - much more clever and cunning 😉 Thanks, friend.
Thanks for the video my friend and the Cat Whisperer continues his work.
Yes, my pets keep coming up with new ways to entertain 😄 They really are stealing the show. Thank you, Pete!
Always a great time watching your videos!
Many thanks, Mark 🙂 It means a lot to have you watching and posting 🤝
great shooting and you are the decoy king
Thank you, Fred 🙂 Quite a recognition. Nothing special, buddy, anyone can do it in a minute. Do try it if you're a shooter yourself.
All your videos are very entertaining and informative, excellent marksmanship and commentary 👍🤠
So very nice of you, David, it's great that you enjoyed them, thank you!
Great shots, quality work👍! The cats were satisfied😁.
They were more than happy, Andrey 😄 I wonder if they'd finally let me get closer. Thanks, buddy.
6.15 the cat picked up a bird almost as big as it.
Men, love this video alex. Congrats buddy.👍👍
Hey, Manny 🙂 Many thanks, brother, I really appreciate it 🤝
Hi Steve from Suffolk UK 🇬🇧 nice to see clear videos 📹. I did see one pellet (spiralling so you must be near maximum velocity of accuracy with those pellets? And also I see you keep your face away from the camera? Is there a reason 🤔 stay safe and your familys.
You are right, Steve, and I did put a subtitle there to let you guys know it didn't go unnoticed. Actually, it was two or three times, if you watch carefully. It was the Taipan (we shot a Taipan and an RTI Porphet). The Taipan is my buddy's gun. He re-tuned his gun in the field - he went from shooting 18 gr JSB to 23 gr H&N slugs, because it was very windy again. He didn't have the time to fine tune, hence the spiraling of the slug on several occasions.
Face away from the cam: yes, I prefer not to reveal my identity at this point, much to the regret of all the snowflakes on my channel 😉 Cheers, mate 🙂
Must say i really enjoyed this video keep them coming bud
Really means a lot, brother, cheers 🙂
6:16 that cat looks like saying "thanks for free meal" LOL
Yes, when it turned around and looked towards us 😄 And they should be grateful, they come running every time we go there and always snatch a few pigeons away. Thanks, bud.
let the kittens take some my friend, chicken is expensive, and the job is difficult 🤣🤣🤣
😄 I always let them have as many as they like, buddy 🙂 Thanks for watching and posting a comment.
ha ha the cat is a proud opportunist!!
It really is 😉 The felines are always well fed whem I'm there. Thanks.
Some well fed feral cats there.
They always gravitate towards us when they see us there 😉 They know our presence means fresh pigeons. Cheers, bud 🤝
U should sprinkle seed around you're decoys. U watch what happens. Great videos keep up the great work
Thanks, Terry, will try that, but bear in mind in this case we're talking about a granary, so there's grain everywhere 🙂
RTI, CZ barrel, Barracuda... Make your job pretty easy, hum? 😅 As usual, great vid, brother!!! 🤩
Thank you, friend 🙂 I admit the guns and all the gear I use outshoots me 😄
@@AirRifleActivities Great gear and great job! Thanks for share. Se need more Channel like yours.
Hey men, why have to put the decoys facing the wind?
Nice video
Thanks, buddy 👍 To answer your question: all birds prefer to perch facing wind, especially when it's cold. That's because like this the wind doesn't ruffle their feathers and they keep the warmth of their bodies. If the wind blows in their back, it will "lift" their feathers and expose their skin.
I see now, this is part of mimic their natural behavior in search to scam the 'new costumers'. A pro knowledge.
Man those CZ barrels are no joke! I may have to put one on a gun I’m trying to build. Really nice shooting guys.
Good luck with your project, Heath 🙂 I'm sure it's gonna be really something.

@@AirRifleActivities too funny; they are really tasty; just pluck the chest area when they are warm, cut them up the center and scoop out the breast meat; simple and quick; saute on medium high heat; salt /pepper.
@@AirRifleActivities i forgot to add; the breast meat color is red like a duck and tastes similar to duck.

Thanks, brother, the decoys really prove their worth 👍
Ya you know the thing about varmint hunting is, the more fun you're having, one day it will end (if you're any kind of a shot at all) . When I got back from 3/4 weeks of fishing up north with my Dad last summer, my place was over run with squirrels . Out came the .25 Crown, I put together a bs camo outfit and in about a week or so they were gone. 10 in all. And then it was done, but the time I spent observing etc was a hoot. Hopefully for all of us it will be like in the movie "Nobody" , as God closes one door and another is opened. Like the new permission on the roof with the AC units you have, how cool is that? We need a poem or a song for the saga of the Varmint hunters...... something in a country westerish type tone. We love to shoot and the better we do, the more fun we have the sooner it ends and then it's done, till the next one....... LOL
You're right, buddy, but then again, that's the whole point of pest control, right ;) I've been shooting at that silo place for more than 3 years now. Initially it was overrun and filthy. Now no more than about 30-40 birds at a time, so we pay the place a visit, it's outdoors, there are residential areas nearby and pigeons are known to fly for miles to get water and food, so... An initial clean up of the big numbers, then regular visit to keep the place tidy ;)
Ficou incrível esses chamarizes com o cadáver dos pombos !! Aqui no Brasil teus videos fazem bastante sucesso, tu é um artista do airgun . 😎

😄 It's almost like that, bud - they do come running when they hear us shooting. Thanks.
Nice my friend. Like 👏👏👏
Thank you! Cheers!
Great shooting guys and looks like the decoys worked fairly well considering the cats 🐈taking some. Cheers
Yes, Donald, and they would've worked even better if it weren't for that pile of spillage on the first day 😉 Thanks, buddy.

Gracias, amigo. Are you asking me how long is the barrel? If so, the barrel on my Prophet is 600 mm long.
Fantastic shooting
Many thanks, Philip 🙂 We could've done better but with these decoys targets were moving too much...
The cats seem to do their thing.
Yes, and they get a lot out of my pest control 😉
If you add a little strong-smelling disinfectant to the decoy birds, I think the cats will learn to leave them alone.
I fear the smell may put the birds off too, Dan.
Some great work Alex by you and your mate, those fat cats did a great job too, the tipan mite just need a good barrel clean 👍
Scott, thank you again for watching and posting 🙂 With the Taipan it wasn't a dirty barrel - my mate had it set to shoot 18 grainers diabolo pellets because we were supposed to shoot indoors. When that thing went south and we ended up at the silos, it turned out it was very windy again, so he decided to retune the gun in the field so that he could shoot HN slugs. As you can imagine, not the best idea in these circumstances 😉
😉👍
Muy buen video y muy buenos disparos como siempre y a seguir disfrutando de lo que nos gusta saludos desde ARGENTINA 👍👍👏👏🇦🇷

😄😄 So true and such a nice way to put it, thanks 😊
Great job! There’s no question that decoying works with pigeons. I need to try it now. 👍🏼
Wood pigeons yeah ferals no, we're not allowed in England, makes no sense to me, we cant shoot nesting birds (except ferals) and we cant shoot birds with NV or lamp (except ferals) but we can't decoy ferals 🤷♂️ dunno why maybe its too easy 😂
Do you ever donate these specimens of delicious squab to the hungry?
To the hungry cats and my hungry friends 🙂
Great shooting guys, interesting and informative. Could we have some more ranges and windage please for reference, to make it even more interesting & informative. Grazzie Mille, Bella
Many thanks for watching and posting a comment 🙂 I do state distances in meter and yards in earlier videos of mine. Sometimes I don't because other say it's ruining the experience of watching for them 😉 But I'll start stating the distances again 🙂
@@AirRifleActivities Thank you so much. I wish to upgrade my air rifle to one with far greater capabilities, so watch your videos as a teaching tool, so without ranges & windage comments, all shots could be 25 yards, or so. I'm learning from you. Thank you so much for your time. Bella

Nice shooting and great editing as always!!! I thought slugs did not spiral as they have no skirt, I learned another thing, thanks!
Thank you, Rafa, and oh, yes - I'm afraid they can spiral too. In fact, many of them may spiral the first several dozens of yards and then stabilize at a longer distance.

OK, great shooting. You had me 😂 ing as I didn’t expect the decoys to be dead pigeons, but rather plastic ones. Now it all makes sense…the cats taking your decoys 😂. So, my questions here though. You think those H/N slugs will perform out of the Crickets & Veterans???
Of course Chris, I have an entire video of me and my buddy shooting slugs HP 21 and 23 gr with his Taipan Veteran Standard .22: th-cam.com/video/1IbD7ssGZcs/w-d-xo.html. It would seem that CZ barrels love HN slugs in both .22 and .25. Just go for size .218.
In this one he had his gun tuned for 18 gr pellets because we expected to shoot indoors. But when we went to my silo permission it turned out there was a lot of wind there. So he decided to retune his gun for shooting slugs in the field which was not a very good idea 😉 As for the crickets, I might find that out myself sometime soon 😉
@@AirRifleActivities Thanks for the link & info. Will look at soon. Will see about ordering me some of those & testing on my guns as well. I’m hoping to be getting a permission soon, if I do, I may be able to test at more respectable ranges, will see.

Many thanks, man, I know how unpleasant this can be. Sometimes it's really hard to get a stable stance while going around searching for targets.

Cheers, bud 🙂
Hey!! Great shooting, as always! Good to see this vid again...Just curious, have you ever experimented with the decoys as far as setting them in closely-packed little groups of 2 or 3, and then comparing that effectiveness with spreading them out further apart, as in the opening shot? This opening shot just made me wonder.
Also interesting that you mentioned that they should all be facing into the wind. When I see them in large numbers (parks, etc) they are usually pretty close together, but going their own directions, and seem to spread only when a threat or some kind of disruption (like an old lady throwing corn) makes them disperse...
...and another thing I've noticed...it seems that a shot entering the pigeon's body RIGHT BELOW the mass of breast muscles is darn near as effective as a head shot in terms of being a quick dispatch...
Thanks for taking the time to film and edit these vids. I know it is harder, and WAY more time-consuming than you skilled folks make it look! Cheers!
I must admit that I never thought to make a comparison between the two 🙂
Speaking of which, another guy suggested that I actually put males on top of females so that it looks like they're having sexual intercourse.
I gotta try those things at some point. Thanks, buddy 🙂
