Another firearm that is considered a unicorn of guns is the Russian Federov Avtomat made in 1915, only 3,200 were made, it's considered to be one of the very first practical full auto rifles to ever be seen in combat. And it's said that the German sturmgewehr 44 used many of the same features at the Federov Avtomat as it was one of the first decently reliable fully automatic rifles ever made.

@@gunmunz Interesting bit of news I learned from a video with a sniper over in the sandbox: They often are taking long-range shots in support of troops in an active combat situation. The enemy is firing, and there are other gunshots going off, so they don't hear the sniper's shot from a mile or so away, even from a .50 BMG. The sniper can "walk" the rounds in if they need to and the target's friends don't know where the shot came from.
To facilitate the break in of your rifle after you load the clip spray it down with some WD 40. Then load it into the gun you'll find out that it improves you're results. I bought and Arsenal refurbished M1 carbine and I had to spray the rounds down with WD40 and then put them in the mag and after about a 100 rounds everything was broken in and working perfectly.
I'm sure the problem with feeding lies with the round nose bullets, perhaps a spire point would alleviate that issue. Once again another awesome video.

That's the rifle cartridge that Jacques LaFleur was using in Harry and the Hendersons. He called them "4-5-8 Magnums."
Rumors of the existence of a .458 Garand is why Bigfoot went into hiding.
Damn it, now I have to go rewatch that classic.
Thank you.
Yep, Scott said "A little more GaRAND". Brilliant!
i just did a quick search and 458WM does about 2000 ft/s, depending on load and grain.
and can go up to 2200 ft/s.
the things rips faster then i thought. i thought it was like a slow velocity, WW1 type thing. like .450 Martini henry. 1300 top 1500 ft/s but no, it goes fast
Scott: Furbies are my enemy!
Tactical T-Rex: Am I a joke to you?
Scott : *_*Shows off the M1 Garand like it can be bought on every street corner_**
Me : *_*Cries many salty (but manly) European tears over the fact he can get an M1 as easily as a Unicorn_**
And I'm not even going to start about today's entry... on this side of the Atlantic, most people could only hope to *_dream_* about handling a rifle like that, let alone own one.
Did you use "manly" and "European" in the same sentence? Lol
I think he did.... betcha he drives a squated opel kadett too 😂🤣😂🤣😂@logangodofcandy

Scott, your skits are amazing. This one really made me smile! Nothing like watching a fellow kentuckian putting a riffle through boot camp! I love it!
Standard home door in Israel:
The "Paldal" door is constructed of 2 sheets of galvanized steel (to prevent metal damage in oxidation-reduction processes) with a thickness of 1.25 mm with welded longitudinal reinforcements. The door is equipped with a multi-bolt locking system consisting of 7 bolts that connect to three door jambs the door:
5 bolts connect to the frame next to the lock.
One bolt connects to the upper frame.
One bolt connects to the frame to which the hinges of the door connect.
In addition, the doors contain special cylinders that make it difficult to break them.

The sweat progression on Scott's shirt was quite entertaining this time.
Hey it's hot this time of year lol
Love to see Scott continuing the tradition of the best intros on TH-cam
it has got to be the most unhinged intro so far, i love it
I swear you guys are grabbing up all of my high school dream guns, lol. Between this, the .950 and Brandon's M82A2, theres only one gun that I don't think you guys have yet that I loved years ago. The .600 Nitro revolver, I think it was Pfeifer Zeliska. Sucker was huge, and you only saw a few pictures of it online
I just read about that Revolver before the video came out. 😂 So, Scott ,bring it on. We want the Pfeifer Zeliska .600 Nitro Express Revolver
He needs to get ahold of Hellboy's pistol, too. Adam Savage made one.
Knew of a man in Tenn back in the 90's used to do this work. I still have the article they wrote about him. He would redo C&R surplus in Magnum calibers. He made an insane M1 carbine in 50 cal AE.
R. Lee Ermey would be proud of that intro! 😂😁🤘
Grandpa’s Garand has been in the gym! Time to show these youngins what’s up!
Thanks to Kentucky ballistics showing all these much higher caliber big game hunting rifles. It makes the one from the original Jumanji movie look like a daisy bb gun 😂
I bust out laughing at every one of these videos. Scott is shameless when it comes to sheer destructive fun. The man needs professional help. Love you, man. ❤
Scott went full Angry Cop Drill Sgt on that Garand training montage
Scott larping as a little green army man for the intro was great
I have an M1 in ‘06 and have seen them in other calibers but NEVER heard of a .458 Garand. Amazing. Super cool.
I laugh every single time at the 'you just got jammed' clip. Never change.
ATF: Good thing we got our level 4 plates.
458 winmag garand: SHAME...

8:00 From what I found, Flush Toilets (like the one Scott has) have been around since ~1880 C.E. However, flushing toilets didn't become common everywhere until the 1930's with electricity.
It looks like people got to work installing electricity and plumbing once they got home after WWI.
Are you sure it’s not B.C.?
the first flush toilet was invented in 1596 by sir john Harrington
History lesson is that they went to war with toilets.
@@chincemagnet B.C. = B.C.E & A.D. = C.E.
I used C.E. for Common Era because that's what we use in public schools now. We had to switch because someone complained about separation of church and state for calendars.

We all know what happened 😬
What happened
He set the whole thing up! I knew it
@Lowtaperman85 the dude that tried shooting trump was wearing a demo ranch shirt
I think the best way to support him is to not give a platform to shitty opinions, everyone knows Matt has absolutely nothing to do with what happened
I did some trading at a gun show several years ago and I ended up with a 458 win mag. It came with the original box of 20 shells bought with the rifle minus 2. I held on to it for close to 5 years and when I got rid of it that same box of shells went with it again minus 3. 😂😂
Wuss! 😂
When drill Sargent Scott started scream babbling hahaaaa 😅😂❤
Oh hell yeah brother! I built my grandfather's Korea m1 garand at Fortuna high in a gunsmithing class.
Been watching for years. That was the single best intro you've EVER done! Great tribute to the best drill instructors. Can't help but think of the late-great R Lee Ermey - but with much more acceptable language, lol - may he rest in peace.
The Red Rider BB gun line got me way harder than it shoulda XD (0:30)

Awesome video! BTW, did you know that the guys at Guns & Ammo magazine converted a Browning semi-automatic hunting rifle (i.e. Browning BAR hunting rifle) to .458 Win Mag way back in 1974? Their project is described in the September 1974 issue of Guns & Ammo magazine.
Whoa. That's gotta be a hellva gun
The BAR was soo iconic WW2. Used in many movies
That intro had me 😂
Mr. Ballistics can you make a playlist of all your ww1 and ww2 gun review videos i love them so can you pls make it.

he has Scout’s spiked bat though
Another firearm that is considered a unicorn of guns is the Russian Federov Avtomat made in 1915, only 3,200 were made, it's considered to be one of the very first practical full auto rifles to ever be seen in combat. And it's said that the German sturmgewehr 44 used many of the same features at the Federov Avtomat as it was one of the first decently reliable fully automatic rifles ever made.
When Scott said 0:43 I felt that 😂
He said what we were all thinking.
Crazy Dave's drill sergeant cousin
He was clearly using an advanced gooning technique
0:06 the gun doing push ups 😂😂😂
Can you imagine if the military had given their soldiers the Winchester version of The Garand. Imagine that field report. "I had an enemy combatant in my sights, I fired the rifle, hitting him, the guy behind him, the guy behind him, the troop transport that was on site behind them and the three guys on the other side 😂"
or the sniper variant your discussing battle plans with your superior and then a shot rings out. The corporal has gone from standing in frount of you to being EVERYWHERE.
I bought and Arsenal refurbished M1 carbine and I had to spray the rounds down with WD40 and then put them in the mag and after about a 100 rounds everything was broken in and working perfectly.
them toilet frags are gonna be hell on your mower 😂
The intro is the true gem😂😂😂

I'm sure the problem with feeding lies with the round nose bullets, perhaps a spire point would alleviate that issue. Once again another awesome video.
