@@AirRifleActivities about the same size and sound similar but definitely different colors. My main permission for pigeons is slow now because of construction not sure when it will be good again. Oh well it's deer season now so hoping to get one or two before it closes.
Nowadays my time is split in two. One half is the time which I go hunting myself and the other half which I watch your videos!😂

Absolutely, Alex - I wish you could've seen that place back in the day when I first started culling the rats there: hundreds of them at any given time and all covered in their feces. I didn't have a YT channel back then...

Thanks, friend, I supposed so at the time I saw it, and everyone tells me so. It perched right above the fish farm, which was kind of a concern, but lucky for it and the owners, it no longer pays visit to the place.

Awesome shooting guys. What velocity are you shooting the 25.4 pellets? Are you using the older shallow base or newer deep base pellets?

I prefer the old shallow base ones, od course - better accuracy. I use them whenever I can get a hold of them, be that old Redesigneds or the Edgun die.

@@igolfat8894 out of this barrel I shoot them at no less than 280 m/s. Otherwise they tend to spiral every now and then. That's about 920 fps if you prefer imperials.
Are you allowed to say the name of your rangefinder? I'm looking for a good one. Great shots on video.

Bro, can i use slugs in my RTI Priest2 .25? Pls advise
Hey, there. The .25 has a CZ barrel, so yes, you can 🙂 Get several different brands and weights and do some testing at different velocities with every slug you've managed to get your hands on. I personally would advise you to try the H&N and JSB slugs. Good luck! 👍

Best shots are when they just drop with wings folded(medula ,heart shots). Keep it up and feed the cats.Great action !! PS I used to live in Santos Brazil and 12 people died from pigeon transmitted diseases...I managed to cull about 100 from my bedroom window with a modest silenced 2240. Here in Portugal its forbidden so my Fx tact is just for plinking...

Please give your opinion on a .22 vs. .25
I can’t make up my mind. Which one do you like better?
It depends on what you're going to shoot and with what projectiles.
These days you can get a .22 airgun and shoot at high power levels if it's capable of shooting slugs accurately.
Would I have to by a slug barrel with like the FX Impact?
Does the FX Impact have an advantage or disadvantage with the Profet?
@@randallwickus9883 I can't say, because I never had an Impact - that's why it's difficult to make a comparison.
Barrel - in my opinion, if you get the Prophet with a CZ barrel, it will shoot properly every projectile you throw at it.

Excellent footage as usual - no need to commend the shooting, vid speaks for itself! It looks like the RTI .22s have a flatter trajectory than the .25 pellets from the Edgun, by the way. Does this makes medium range shots easier, and what about wind effects?

Hey, buddy 🙂 A great comment as usual 👏 Higher speed and lighter pellet - yes, the trajectory is flatter. But winds affect both the .22 and .25 - especially wind gusts. Diabolo pellets, what can you do 😉 But I also feel safer shooting them. Thanks for the comment, Stefano. There'll be more videos with both the Prophet and the Matador, and hopefully - some new guns too 😉

Calibre foot lbds and velocity ?
The Prophet is in its .22 cal configuration in this video, shooting the JSB Redesigneds at about 285 m/s, if memory serves. Thanks for watching.
Very good work with those corvids, bud! Pigeons are easy, they're dumb and take a lot of repetition to learn. Crows, jackdaws and magpies are a whole nother nine yards, they are SMART little bastards and after two or three kills you _have_ to trick them somehow.
I absolutely agree with what you say, brother 👍 Corvid species rarely venture set "wing" on my permission - the ones that did regretted it bitterly 🔥😉 Shooting them really takes some concealment, moving slowly, taking a good stance slowly and carefully. Sky rats - most of the time I can get as close as 20 yards to them and shoot 😄

The gun is an RTI Arms Prophet. It's an airgun and I have no idea about Italian laws and what is allowed in your country. You can check the rifle at rtiarms.shop.
That being said, it's quite close to you - it's being manufactured in neighbouring Slovenia.
Another super video. Amazing videography, very clear and sharp. Thanks a bunch for supporting Orion, he is a really great guy with a huge heart. I have my Avenger tuned really well and have put the ATN 4K Pro on there for night pest control. What an amazing combination already and then I added the ABL1000 ballistics laser rangefinder........astoundingly accurate. Taking +100yard shots almost instantaneously (day time) and it is spot on accurate. Did not get a deer this year but did not see very many either, very warm most of the season. My very best to you and yours this Christmas season. Keep our country in your thoughts as there is so much turmoil and division.

I've also been intrigued by the ATN, I tested footage during daytime when Jake was here and it looks a bit weird but during night time it really shines!! The gun has a high level of adjustability, Thomasz. You can adjust the power to a wide range of settings, depending on what HST and reg working pressure you've set, and also what projectile type and weight you've chosen.
