- In this one, we kick off a rather unique project where we retrofit a gooseneck trailer with something called a tandemloc coupler for hauling connex boxes. We also have a laundry list of other modifications to be made to this trailer in the next video. Hope you guys enjoy! Thanks for watching!

OUTSTANDING!! Great video and amazing job on the fabrication and welding.
Thank you, I appreciate that, and thanks for watching!
That bead on that lock pocket is one of the best stick beads I have ever seen.
Thank you, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while, Lol. Thanks for watching!
Diamond plate in m y neck of the woods.
Nice job and good explanation on different processes👌
Thanks. I try to include enough detail so the viewer understands what I’m doing. Hope that’s how the viewer feels. Thanks for watching!
Excellent work! Looking forward to part 2!
Thanks, and Thank you for watching!
Excellent fab and weld. Looking forward to part 2. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, and thank for watching!
Man your welding skills are top notch, but those 7018 stick welding beads are next level.
Great work👍
Dual shield is so freakin handy, I can cover a lot of ground really fast compared to stick. I use it as much as possible.
So do I. Time is money, and dual shield can flat- lay- it- down! Thanks for watching!
I appreciate the way you encourage the youth.!
And how you lead by example.💯
If it weren’t for those qualities, this would just be another welding channel.
Thanks for good content and values..
👍🏼💯🙏🏼✌🏼
Thank you. There are a lot of things far more important than welding. Teaching the youth of the world to be responsible, respectful, upstanding human beings is one of them. I take it seriously because I’m a Dad myself and I know how important it is. I’m not saying I’m the master of any of those things, but I am saying it is important to me. If I can help maybe even one of our youth better themselves, then I would feel like I’ve done some good. Thanks for your encouraging comments, and thanks for watching!
Great work. Love the videos. Like how you are so honest and like the not cutting corners. Learn something every time I watch one of your videos.
Thanks, that means a lot. I think you have to be honest with yourself if you want to continuously improve. Thanks for watching!
Nice job! Thanks for sharing your thought processes working through this job.
Thank you for watching!
Nice work as always. Enjoying watching the process. But you never told us why it was dark in the shop @ 41:17. 😉
I know! That was a little editing flaw. I used my laser to check my marks for squareness. Nothing gets past you! Lol. Thanks for watching!
Fantastic job as always sir. Tig is the next type of welding i want to learn. It just hasn't been something that i have had a chance to learn yet.
Thank you. Fortunately for you, it is cheaper now more than ever to get into tig welding. Once you start getting it down, I think you will enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video. That's a nice project
Thanks brother. You staying busy?
Get yourself some Kroil to use on rusty bolts and screws my friend.
i have the same issue word of mouth never advertised , i like your work ethic keep it up!
I’m to the point now that I don’t want to advertise because it will completely swamp me. Word of mouth is key. Thanks for watching!
Bon Boulo😆😆👍👍
Noob question when you say dual shield are you talking a mixed gas or gas and flux core?
It’s referred to as dual shield because you are using 2 forms of shielding- Gas, and flux cored wire. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
@Freedomfabrication777 I thought that was the answer but figured I'd ask to be certain. Thanks for the reply. I'm looking forward to the next build/video. Keep up the great content.
I would think doing different projects like this makes it difficult to quote a price because you are not sure what it encompasses until you start. If it was something you had done a few times it would make it easier.
That’s true. Luckily with this customer it was easy because I was able to just keep track of materials purchased, and hours worked and then I just billed the customer at the end. Thanks for watching!
A milwaukee would have taken those out! LOL
I knew someone would say that! Thanks for watching!

Nice work! That’s a winch tract under trailer. Those sliding “things” are called strap winches. Glad I’m not the only “over do-it” guy. Can’t wait for part 2 😁👍🏼
@@larryvollmar8763 Thanks for the info, and thanks for watching!
I just found your channel about 3 weeks ago. And this is exactly what I needed to find. Great content. I’m doing this same stuff with my family. We always going over board to ensure it last forever. Thanks again for the content
It is importan it has worked me for 40 year and is always by word of mouth and i now have to turn wor away more than i can handle
That’s always a good problem to have! Thanks for watching!
Nice work. Trump 2024!
Thanks. 🤞🏻 🇺🇸. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video Bud! I have watched and learned something from every one of your videos! Thanks for sharing the skill of craft! Had a question why did you prefer the cutting torch over your plasma cutter for cutting the holes for the container mounts? Not criticizing just for my refrence..
I decided to go with a torch because I feel like i have better control with a regular torch. Sometimes when running a plasma, the high air pressure can make things difficult to follow a steady, accurate line. Just preference that’s all. Thanks for watching!
Great video!!! FJB TRUMP 2024 BROTHER
