Im really enjoying these videos. Currently transfering careers from a desk job to welding, so these have been very helpful and motivational. The quality has been awesome.
Great video Stuart. When you get the new press brake, maybe think about swapping the electric joystick for a manual valve, on the iron worker, it would be much easier to control. Also, a few months ago, you turned me on to Molly’s Silvers ’ belt buckles. I have 14 of them coming , 7 for grand kids and 7 for customers. I will send you a picture when I get them
I will have to look into what options I have for installing a manual valve. I would love to see the buckles! That is a really cool idea. Thanks for watching!
Looks like those pillow block bearings have zerk fittings? I always clean my shaft like you did and also put a thin film of oil or grease on the shaft before installation, I like version 2.0 better for what it’s worth besides the shaft protruding out more on one side. Love the layout of the shop by the way!
Hey I like this video. We have a shop in southern Nevada. And we are always trying to make things easier for us while fabricating. We usually mKe one then change it up a little on the next. But we always run into the question , should we just make another one so the whole lot matches or give them the one that is slightly different. Just curious to how you handled that situation with your first one you made compared to the other ones you made slightly different. Thanks again for the content. And god bless!
Sounds like you guys have a sweet setup as well. I had the same thoughts on the one that was different. Lucky for me, the customer stopped by and checked out the first one when I got it done, and said he loved it. I brought up my concerns, and he said he thought it was great the way it was. I told him I was going to modify a few things to make it better, and he said that would be fine, so I just decided to give them the “prototype”. Situations like that are tuff. I dealt with it the best way I knew how. Great question, and thanks for watching!
I actually didn’t use an equation. I’m not that smart. I drafted a side view on my CNC software and tweaked it until I like the angle and the footprint. Definitely no rocket science going on here. Lol. Thanks for watching!
Always fun to watch. Thanks for another great video! If you make another box like that, try burning some slots to show you where to brake those corners- a little layout on the computer should speed you up at the brake. I’ll bet you could make the slots at the corners long enough so you could bend the corners by hand, and only have one corner to weld.
Installing bearings can be easy or hard, depending how patient you are. I *ALWAYS* took my time, and got them on, w/o jacking anything up. Having to do a job under warranty is *NOT* good for the resume😉
When you have a TH-cam channel, you don’t get to slap whatever music you want on there due to copyright laws. The options are quite limited, Thanks for the blunt suggestion though.
I’m 52 years old and when the music starts boomin, I CRANK IT UP! 😎
Lol. Love the enthusiasm. The world needs more 52 year olds like you! Thanks for watching!

Gracias a usted por compartir todos sus trabajos!! Soy técnico en soldadura y lo saludo desde Argentina
Like the hoist. Work smart, not hard.
I don’t always succeed, but I try. Thanks for watching!
2.0 looks really good. Good call on the changes.
Thanks! And thank you for watching!
When I was in the Army I never met a person from Utah I didn't like. You guys got your stuff together! Another great video. Thank you.
Thanks, that’s really nice of you to say. I wish I could say the same. Lol. Thanks for watching!

Save those triangle cutouts! You never know when you’ll need a gusset for something.
@@BMGProjects I have a whole pallet full of them. Those parts are big enough that I can cut lots of other parts out of them. 😉
I don't have a problem with the music but if I did I would just tune the volume down or off for that part of the video.
Great job once again!
My thoughts exactly. Thanks for watching!
Sorry if I missed it somewhere in the video but I'm curious, where did you find rollers that large? McMaster maybe?
@@nonadjannomyous5733 The Customer supplied them, but I believe it was either McMaster-Carr or Kaman. Thanks for watching!

Agreed. Version 2.0 is much better. Thanks for watching!
Nice work, especially on the effort to continuously improve.
Thanks. Someone like me has to continually be trying to improve to get a decent finished product. Lol. Thanks for watching!

I would like to know how you came up the angles for the stand. The equation
