That's great! :) True love and faith is pushing through the hard times even when we don't FEEL like it or we feel like God isn't there/is far away. The important thing is to stay in the Word, seek Him in prayer, and never lose heart. Every Christian goes through hard seasons where we feel far away from God or like He's just not talking to us. True love and true faith is sticking with it, staying faithful, and knowing that no matter what God is still our Father and He loves us deeply and unconditionally. Doubt--I personally think--is okay. Just don't let it go overboard and take those doubtful thoughts captive. After all, we're called to faith. Faith without doubt is just knowing. Faith and doubt will always co-exist to some degree, but don't let that be a stumbling block for you. Fight doubt with Truth and scripture.
(Also, this is just a personal conviction so I'm not in any way saying what you should or shouldn't do. I have personally noticed thought that games like Dark Souls, Zelda, League of Legends, Dragon Age, etc. along with anime and manga always hinder my relationship with God. A lot of them--especially the video games--bring glory to the enemy to an extent and open doors into our lives that we don't want opened. Again that's just a personal conviction however and you might not be affected the same way :) )
God bless you and I'll be praying for you! Stay strong and know you are loved by our Gracious and Good Father. (Oh, and pray and read the Bible. That's super important I've just discovered because I lowkey never wanted to read the Bible before but when I started---wooh boy did it help.)

Jeff, the craziest thing about this is all God. Tonight, we are teaching Gods love to the youth group. All week God has been placing “Love” on my mind. I had a change of heart last night and God really wanted me to speak on love. Also, placed Romans 5:8 on my heart as the main verse. And you hit every point that I wrote down. God is good. For weeks I been feeling as if God has left me because of my sins (which im deeply in regret of doing) and i been with all my heart pleading him to take me back, because I don't feel his presence as I use to but so many times God has shown me in the past weeks that he has not forgotten me and this video is another confirmation. Please if anyone is reading please don't continue on your sins and putting God 2nd place. Always put him first! Sin is not worth it. It only hurts you and God. Don't do it.

Morning time I remember about 1500 verses for praise, worship and prayer. (Including 100 Psalms). This practice helps me to grow strong in the Lord and also to help others for the glory of the Lord. John 14:6 is my favorite verse; I preach this word to many unsaved people that they may find the peace in Jesus Christ because He is the Lord of all.

hey Jeff thank you for these videos ,ive been dealing with so much in my life im trying to do the right things and take care of my mom and dad ,i have siblings that are spreading so many lies about me and ive been feeling so down . sometimes with depression you dont feel loved or alone and isolated..your videos had me in tears only because of you telling me that god and jesus loves me no matter what i needed to hear that ive always had faith and i know that they hated jesus frist ..so i talk to god alot and jesus sometimes all day long ,the point in trying to make is this on top of trying to care for both parents alone and being sick too you made me realize that god sees my struggles and you doing these vidoes really help my soul...so thank you and i will continue to watch ..god bles

Like how amazing is that? God went out looking for them, says He's never quit loving you and never will, and that he will build you up again. I have to speak this over myself everyday and the more I do the more it's believed.

I have a question if anyone can answer, can God heal a broken heart? I am really heart broken in pieces, my first boyfriend I was with, totally broke me down. I'm scared that I'll never be able to fall in again with another man and be happy again. I know the Bible and what it says, but right now my head is clouded. If anybody went through something like this and have any advice, please let me know. Or if you experienced yourself God healing you fully, God restoring you from a broken heart, and being able to fall in love with someone else, I would appreciate it. please nobody tell me to fall in love with Jesus, I know that and I am, but reality is life can be very cruel. please pray for me...i can't get these negative thoughts from my head...I really want to feel like God loves me because just knowing is not enough...i keep comparing myself to other Christians and I feel messed up and i don't measure up and my life is a mess i don't want to live anymore...the Devil keeps accusing me of being worthless guilty because I walked away from God's paths and I feel guilty of this because i see other christians their lives so perfect come together with happy marriages career..they grew up in church and fit in and I don't...i feel like a mess and i can't stop feeling like this everything is a struggle for me

Nobodies life are perfect. 1.) Start studying your Bible. read it every day. 2. Pray everyday. Discipline in this will do wonders. The Spirit of God gets exited when you pray, read His Word and also don't under estimate fasting, You will then experience this excitement which in turn chase away the negative thoughts.. Those 3 things can change your life more than what you realize, just give it a try. If you wait on the Lord in prayer He will strengthen you, its guaranteed.

I never feel loved by God despite what I know to be true. I've had a rough life and despite being able to live comfortably I don't think I've ever known real love. I grew up in a broken home with no stability and now I suffer as an adult from so many bad choices. I just want this peace that Jesus talks about, but I never have it...

I know what you saying. I was also saved 22 years ago when I just felt like that again after losing my job again. I never see Jesus, I feel like I never hear Him and one day I felt so alone and unloved as I normally feel, even as His child that I decided to give up. 10 min later Jesus met with me and spoke to me about this. The first thing He said was He will never leave me or forsake me (I knew He also meant this for all His children). There were 2 witnesses to this I have not seen before or since that encounter. Last year Jesus taught me something. We already have the victory over things. Read the Bible every day and make time to pray. Make a list of things to pray for, and if you don't pray whats on the list just be thankful and quite before Him.

alich hey! so masturbation is a sin, its a sexual sin. i used to do it and then the Holy Spirit convinced me and i stopped, ofc not with my own strenght but with His. But don't worry or be afraid, i'm telling you this out of love bc i've been there and i tried to find an excuse to do it but it didnt work. sin is sin. God obviously LOVES you. pray for strenght to stop doing it and keep it for your future spouse. You can do all things through Christ who gives you strenght ❤

Here is a great answer to that question. And I speak this out of just truth and love. If you think you can do so in a way that does not involve sinfully lusting over another person, that does not provoke sinful thoughts, and is something you would be comfortable doing in the presence of the Lord, have a field day with it. Try that approach and pray about it. It's something I feel everyone struggles with at one point or another. But with that said, we have to be honest with ourselves and decide, is this glorifying to God? It make make us feel good. But we're not called to just "do what feels good". We're called to live a life that is pleasing to Him. I will pray for you who are questioning it.
When Jesus spoke of fornication on his mountain speech (and fornication by heart) He said that if your right hand causes you to stumble it's better to cut it off and throw it away. This might probably refer to masturbation. Anyway, it's wise to avoid it. That may sound difficult, but you might be surprised by what happens if you pray for the Holy Spirit to help you resist your urges and then fight it. Don't take it from me though. I used to masturbate quite a lot until I decided I wanted to quit about a month ago. Yes, temptations do rise and it's difficult at times, but as time passes I do find that it gets easier. Also, I don't have to feel ashamed for it anymore and that by itself is such a relief! So my advice: be determined to quit and pray that the Holy Spirit may help you. These urges don't need to keep you chained. With Jesus' help, you can be free!

Water will always flow even you try to put big rocks to stop it, it will always find it's way to "flow" bec. that is its nature, to flow. To be gracious literally means a larger body/being bending down to pick up a smaller body/being and hold them. As a mother or father does to their child, Your father in heaven is waiting for you, to be able to love you like a father should. He wants to protect you, heal you and reserve your place for eternity, it's hard to try to understand the way God is and how he thinks, but know this, no matter what you've done, who you are, where you are or if you're in a mess that looks impossible...God is there. He loves you, He hasn't left you (as your earthly father might have), He is faithful and He holds your tears in a bottle next to the book of Life. Nothing you do, is in secret from God, but his unconditional love, covers all sins, all wrong people have done to you, all things of the earth, it's like a huge flood that doesn't ask questions. Once your yield to His will and stop trying to run everything yourself, you give Him the power to fill your life, and your family's lives with the blessings of heaven. His love is the flood you Want..it's uncompromising and when you walk with Him, keep his Word and stay far from sin, it will chase you down, overtake you and is way more than you need, no matter what is lacking in your lives. How do I get closer to god?
My family has been under attack for many years.. my ex husband brought a spirit of alcoholism, backsliding, womanizing and all that brings with it from the time they were young. All four of my children are assaulted with the same demons everyday. I pray and pray for them. I pray for their salvation and freedom from this unholy crap that has been their lives. Now the attack has followed me in my new life as husband now is also playing jezebel & deceit. No matter how much love and gratitude I give to God.. how much trust I put in my prayer life, the attacks are coming faster and with more destruction. I know that may mean there is a break through coming but I am totally alone in prayers for my family. Not only addictions, unhealthy lifestyles and relationships but I got told today my oldest may have a terminal illness and my second oldest, the only one that had avoided any types of addictions now has fallen into drugs and left her children with their father and gone off with another man ??!! My husband right now is upstairs texting some woman & has become obsessed with online sexting ??!! What can I doooooo! OMG I am desperately alone in this.. please help !

Hey Jeff. I know this is very wimpy of me to ask but how do you get over the fear sharing your faith with those outside of church, or at least letting people know you are a a Christian. I avoid saying grace when I'm eating out with people because I don't want them to look at me and think " oh this guys a judgmental bigot who believes in irrational myths". Its a struggle for me currently.
Pray on it and ask other Christian friends how they handle the situation.

perhaps try growing in your confidence in the word of god by growing in your understanding of the gospel and salvation , and basically the main doctrines of the christian faith. recommend listening to people like rc -sproul , john macarthur , james white , got questions website, john piper , matt chandler , carm website,
also by looking into christian apologetics . looking at common misconceptions and misunderstandings people make about the faith and thinking about how to biblically and lovingly and graciously answer them. and also know that its ok to not have all the answers and its ok to admit that to them. hopefully this helps

i have struggled with this also and i have found that most ppl are supportive and respectful. in fact numorous times ppl have came up to my family in restaurants and complimented us for praying before we eat. i think whats most important for me to remember now is that i am known as a Christian now so i need to try and be a good example, be kind and gracious. and NEVER BE ASHAMED OF LOVING JESUS! It’s not like I feel like it , but it looks like god shows me no love. I’ve been praying to god for something in particular and it’s been very long and I still have no answer. I ask god for signs if god is with me and guiding me, I still got nothing.
I talk to god and try my best to get close to god. But I feel like it’s all me and god isn’t even going to do anything. It feels like god is going to listen forever but never really do anything. I feel really hopeless.

Jesus said to the sinner. Go and sin no more. We are called to repent. Yes Jesus loves us and will always love us but that does not make us immune to hell. Jesus cries for those sinners who did not repent and ended up in hell.
You need to study hell. It's not a real word. It comes from the word hades, which means grave.
I do not feel that god doesn't loves me but somehow I cannot feel love for him right now. I don't know what to do

thanks Jeff for this reminder. I really needed it. I met an atheist today and I really felt saddness for them because they dont believe at all...not even in Gods love..because they don't know what that is. Gods love isn't something to miss. thanks for reminding me to not give up in seeking fact, truth and Real Love.
