From what I know: you're always gonna hit a little draw/fade, the scale of this should ofcourse become smaller when you're trying to hit it straight but it will still occur. You probably have a "natural flight" so a draw or a fade

Tip. As a long time strong fader borderline slicer with my driver. There were 3 things I changed.
      1. Found a routine for initial driver set-up. Get your driver in position first then set your stance up
      2. Make sure your shaft is strait..not leaning forward of the ball. This causes slice. That helped a lot.
      3. Dropped my backfoot back slightly less than an inch.
Result. Last 16 of 18 drives have been down the middle either strait or with a slight fade or slight draw.

“Do any of you change your grip from weak to strong and vice versa when hitting fades or draws”?
Personally the grip change for me aids in being able to shape shots, in the way that slot of the time having the grip one way or the other provokes the swing shape…

rick, first thank you. for me (and I bet many others) the hardest part is aiming the clubface in yiur fade instruction. i’m accustomed to lining up my clubface first then setting up square. once i align my feet/shoulders/hips left of where I want the ball to end up i’m at a loss about where to aim the clubface-since it comes after the body alignment
now, if i align my clubface first-slightly left of intended ending up, then i have a very hard time aligning my body parts left of that.

I have what's called the Fade boomerang. This baby goes fairly left comes back to centre with the key being that when it coming back to centre she be flying at a 70 deg angle across the fairway. On head winds or winds coming in from your right she will come back on herself and thus the boomerang is born. Honestly professional level shot i'm sure we will be sing this in the tours any day now. hahaha

used to hate my lil fade in high school cause i had a lot of guys during school and in summer tourneys that would bomb it past me, 20, 30, even 40 yards (big high draws). i quit caring after i realized a lot of them *wanted* that lil controlled fade and couldn't hit it.

Rick this may sound odd, but why is it when on a range i can muller my driver but on the course i struggle with a slice? Sounds mad but putting the ball on them big rubber tees gives me confidence 😂🤦‍♂️

Your fade shot is 90 percent of my drives. Don't know why it does that. Wish I could draw the ball on purpose.

I seem to hit draws and fades but never on purpose ;). At the main two golf courses I play there are freaking trees strategically placed so you can't just hit a straight shot at a 325 yard green. It would shave off a few strokes if I could get these down.

There is one very important tip to perfectly draw and fade every time consistently. Use schoolchalk to draw and your sleeves to fade it out.

Rick I have a Titleist TSI driver and I have it adjusted for a draw, but the course that I have been playing requires me to shape the ball. Should my driver be set a more neutral setting if I need to shape the ball with a adjustable driver?

How about placement and set up on the tee box? For fade, set up on left, and for draw, set up on the right? (Generally)

I somehow can't understand or visualize having the face right of the target but left of where I'm aiming/stance. Can someone break that down for me?

I get my mind confused. Im a former baseball player and lefty. When I'm trying to hit a draw and hitting the ball out to the left, I feel like my clubface is open even more by trying to hit it out to the left. How do you visually think about hitting to the left but with a closed clubface? I just cannot get it to make any sense in my head.
