- Hello! I had this issue with mirroring bones correctly, and every time I made my armature on the y-axis, things would mess up. So this is just a quick fix to that.
This is not the best thing to do but it is a nice quick fix. You want your bones to be aligned correctly above all else!
no tutorial has helped, but this video helped, Thank you!
you saved my life thank
This surely helps. Thank you very much
Glad it helped bro!
i love internet lol
Unfortunately rotating my origin speghettifies my rig
Interesting did you make sure to turn on only moving origin? And also I would recommend creating your rig along the x axis because the symmetrical thing only works from left to right on the x axis
@@KoKoAnim4 I did try that. I eventually fixed it by unrigging everything, applying transforms to everything, and re rigging. Your tutorial was still what I needed to know, so thank you
@@Matoro342 I’m glad you figured it out bro! I’m sure there’s an easier way then having to redo everything I unfortunately don’t know it :(
d'ont work for me
It’s hard to explain exactly but basically you want to just rotate your bones model to where it’s aligned on x axis (the red line) then ctrl A and apply rotation, that way it will symmetrize correctly from left to right on the x axis
