Well, this was the simplest most clear video on how to setup a dual-stream pc. I thought you needed a mixer to connect your audio to your streaming pc. Went for hours trying to figure out how to set it up and you literally saved my ass in 11 minutes. You got yourself a sub man! totally deserve it!

guys, i hv question, regarding about the streaming pc, do u need an internet in order to keep monitoring ur ingame activities? if it is really needed then what is the minimum download speed or upload speed mbps for the streaming pc? since i hv 100mbps for gaming and another different internet provider with 20mbps for download speed and 10 mbps for upload speed which is for my parents usage
Instead of using another mic for your streaming pc just for your voice, you can right click your headset under the recording tab of your sound settings, then click Properties, then Listen. Select "Listen to this Device" and it will transfer your voice in the rest of your desktop sound. Make sure to select HD60 S under Playback Audio through this device if you don't want to hear it in your headphones while you game.

I'm trying to set up a dual streaming PC set up using a lap top, gaming PC and the elgato HD60x capture card. This capture card does not have software like the older version that was used in this video. So I am having hard time figuring out how to get ALL of my audio from my gaming pc to my stream laptop. I'm using streamlabs OBS and my audio runs through broadcast stream mix because I use a goxlr mini. Can anyone help me figure out how to get the broadcast stream mix audio to run through the capture card into my stream laptop?

So this is the goal, using a goxlr mini. (gamingpc) only running the game and 1 monitor. (streamingpc) running goxlr app, chrome, discord, webcam, spotify, and 2 monitors. I should preface , I will not be streaming or recording videos via OBS. So I'm assuming that I won't even need to add a capture card for my needs. gamingpc specs : ryzen 7 7800x3d, 64GB DDR5, 4090 streaming specs: i7 12700k , 32GB DDR4, 3080ti So yes I understand its overkill to need to split spotify and discord to a second pc but I want to squeeze every performance I can for online games. My discord use is also pretty heavy because I have webcam on and friends cam in a call.
I must say, i'm glad i came across this video because you sure made this simple to understand, unfortunately for me, my streaming pc (A laptop) isn't strong enough to push to 1920x1080 60 fps quality as it lags the whole screen when i test record, so it can only do 720p. But nevertheless, if i ever were to get a better streaming pc and plan a legitimate dual pc setup, i know which video to watch again! Good stuff my man! :)

I have 3 monitors. If I connect one monitor to streaming PC I’m able to switch from monitor to monitor still with the elgato being hooked up? And you’re talking about mic. Do I need to connect my external mic to my streaming pc? Or will elgato also port that voice over to my streaming pc from my gaming pc

Because i know most people are not out here using two mics with an XLR mic setup for dual PC streaming/gaming. i know theres other people who explain it, but youre the only one who can pretty much explain it to people without over explaining or just being confusing.
I actually have a video in mind using the elgato wave link 3 mic. This can help you because the elgato wave link 3 uses a proprietary software that pretty much imitates the Goxlr by having a virtual mixamp
did you ever figure it out? thats the part im stuck at, did everything else streaming PC picks up sound but doesnt pick up my microphone cause im using a XLR mic since ive been single PC streaming.
@@qBoosted I fixed it by getting a GoXLR Mini and using 3.5 mm cables to connect the two. Before I got the GoXLR though, I had to just stick with one PC streaming because all the softwares go get them to communicate would only work for a bit, then I'd have to go through and redo it again like it was my first time. Definitely was worth the couple hundred dollars.

Hi, I have a problem and I really can't find the solution. I want to start straming on youtube and I have a Macbook 14 M1 Pro, a gaming PC with Elgato 4K60 MK1 capture card, a SONY A6400 camera and a PS5, I would like the Macbook to be for straming and the PC and PS5 for gaming. I just don't know if I can connect them all together and they work perfectly, from what I saw I would need the elgato hd60s+ capture card, the funny thing is that I have a 2 times better capture card in my computer and I don't know if I can use it :))
You forgot to mention that if you don't put the output HDMI cable from the capture card, to your monitor, you have to use a second cable to connect your monitor to your gaming PC, and that's important since your capture card is supposed to do that
@@bennywhite5972 well what are you trying to do, in your case especially? if you have only one hdmi port you need to use a display port, keep your hdmi port for your capture card, and use the display port for your monitor, if your tv only accept hdmi, you would need to get either a splitter or a display port to hdmi adaptor, or get a pc monitor that uses both hdmi and display port
@John Jiang damn I wanted to record my gaming pc without needing a display port I thought of plugging everything in like the vid but putting a 2nd hdmi out from the elgato to the TV I thought that would show my gaming screen
@@bennywhite5972 you can do that, and try to see if everything works out, a capture card is mostly if you need to use a dual pc stream set up, in this case you capture your gaming PC and stream with another pc
right click the window, and it should say Create source projector. Then at the top of the window it should give you 2 or 3 options (depending how many monitors you have hooked up. your 2nd or 3rd option will be your elgato or whatever you capture card is. then it should project to the streaming PC. I know im 5 months late on replying to this but I just recently figured this out as well so im relaying the info. :)

Great video! My “question” is, So you’re streaming PC picks up everything you do on your gaming PC except your headset mic? So do you have to have your headset mic and your desk mic on at the same time so that your friends and your chat can hear you?
@@germanchokolat1 so months later I figured out the setup that works. And as you indicated I ended up doing my headset as my main comms for teammates and chat. But I do have a desk mic that I use if I want to mute/deafen my teammates comms and just talk directly to chat without my team hearing me
@@germanchokolat1 for a desk mic, yes that’s what I did. For my headset mic it’s attached to my gaming PC and I used Voicemeeter to transfer my sounds from each PC to the other
@@ADELvibes idk if its a solution but i found a work around. for some reason i cant get it to work when i use my goxlr connected to my gaming pc. so i have to connect it to my streaming laptop in order to get and kind of audio.
@@ADELvibes for the elgato i basically have it connected hdmi to the gaming pc and usb to the gaming laptop, set my display settings to extend you main display and what ever display number your elgato is. then obs on the gaming pc create a display capture selecting my main montior. on the streaming pc obs create a display capture for the elgato hd60s+. finally on the gaming pc obs right click on the picture and select fullscreen projector and select elgato hd60s+ and you should be good to go. if you cant get it to display try goin going into the display settings on the gaming pc and lowers the resolution on the main monitor to 1080p and then back to the resolution you be gaming at. hopefully it helps you and sorry if it sounds confusing.
Now how do I view my chat? I’m alright using a 49 inch ultra wide monitor, so no need for a second monitor. I’m thinking I can just use my laptop to view my chat.

My gpu only has 1 hdmi will putting a "hdmi out" into my TV show my gaming pc, or how I'm suppose to see my gaming screen

Bro when it comes to selecting the device on the streaming PC, i haven't got an option for Elgato Game Capture HD, i only have Game Capture HD60 s???
Great video! My “question” is, So you’re streaming PC picks up everything you do on your gaming PC except your headset mic? So do you have to have your headset mic and your desk mic on at the same time so that your friends and your chat can hear you?
Yes! so as your speaking in your headset mic like you normally would, your stream mic is picking up everything as if its 1 mic
I don't understand why you can't just set up your headset Mic as an audio input
@@germanchokolat1 so months later I figured out the setup that works. And as you indicated I ended up doing my headset as my main comms for teammates and chat. But I do have a desk mic that I use if I want to mute/deafen my teammates comms and just talk directly to chat without my team hearing me

@@germanchokolat1 for a desk mic, yes that’s what I did. For my headset mic it’s attached to my gaming PC and I used Voicemeeter to transfer my sounds from each PC to the other

@@ADELvibes idk if its a solution but i found a work around. for some reason i cant get it to work when i use my goxlr connected to my gaming pc. so i have to connect it to my streaming laptop in order to get and kind of audio.
@@ADELvibes for the elgato i basically have it connected hdmi to the gaming pc and usb to the gaming laptop, set my display settings to extend you main display and what ever display number your elgato is. then obs on the gaming pc create a display capture selecting my main montior. on the streaming pc obs create a display capture for the elgato hd60s+. finally on the gaming pc obs right click on the picture and select fullscreen projector and select elgato hd60s+ and you should be good to go. if you cant get it to display try goin going into the display settings on the gaming pc and lowers the resolution on the main monitor to 1080p and then back to the resolution you be gaming at. hopefully it helps you and sorry if it sounds confusing.
