Problem with Apple Pay is not because of the watch but AmEx. A lot of vendors in Europe don’t accept AmEx due very high commision they have to pay to them. Visa and Mastercard are accepted almost everywhere.
Content and quality shows that this channel is so underrated. Thoroughly enjoyed the real-life example of these gadgets. Cheers to more in the future!

love the content :) how do you do the morning report on the ultra ?
I also use my white Nike band with the Ultra as this looks sooo good. The trail loop just wasn’t for me. I like it when there are predefined sizes and I almost never found a correct setting for the trail loop. Also, the Nike band is dry in seconds whereas the trail loop soaks in the sweat or water.

I just visited Iceland in October as well and ended using the Apple Card (no foreign transaction fees) on my iPhone the whole time after being told many places don’t accept Amex.

I think if you linked a Visa or Mastercard to your watch it may have worked. I lot of places in Europe don't take American Express for some reason. Nice Video

No Amex gold card for food related purchases?
In Europe AMEX is not used that much and therefor you cannot pay with it everywhere. Mastercard is almost everywhere accepted.
6:10 Cafe loki Apple pay works it was the card you were using. They don't accept American Express. My cousin tried and it failed until he switched it to a Visa card.

Yes any 44, 45, 49mm bands should be interchangeable

How you try using international roaming on the Apple Watch ? Apple mentioned data roaming on the Apple Watch on the event.
Great little recap of Iceland, I think the issue with Apple Pay is the card you are using, in the Nordic countries we only really take visa/mastercard

I have never had issues in any country using Apple Pay. Is your card Amex? Many boutiques and cafes in Europe still doesn’t accept it.
