    Hi, Just wanted to find out how you experience the ultra size wise-wise? Do you actually use it for outdoors type of activities like hiking, or more city tours and day to day use? Did you have a standard apple watch before and what are the biggest pros and cons if you have the compare the ultra vs standard apple watch?

    Fantastic video. Concerning your question: The subtle/passive racism thing, whatever you wanna call it usually only happens with older people , I‘d say 40+. At least that‘s my experience. In many cases there is not really hate involved, but a significant number of Germans never really travels outside of Germany or works with international teams (especially older people), hence can have a hard time dealing with cultural/ethnic diversity. Of course, this does not hold for all Germans or all Germans over 40!

    im interested in your experience in saunas, i had to return every apple watch i had because the heated sauna would cause the phone and the watch to go into "too hot" mode, and i had to leave them outside. I grabbed my garmin fenix and it never turned off and worked like a charm. I would GUESS you could use a garmin chest strap and connect it to your watch phone and use that to track i guess if you wanted. i'm just sick of having to find work around and other apps for the apple watches, when the garmin just worked,

    • @ShervinShares
      @ShervinShares  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      great point! yes my apple watch overheats in VERY hot saunas. but in NYC there's temp legal limit so it never overheats here
      it only overheated in Prague & Germany once each place. if i get the watch wet it last a bit longer. but my Garmin def is more tough in that regard

    Thank you for your amazIng videos. Came for the Apple Watch Ultra reviews, stayed for your personality and honest videos! Sorry to hear that you have to experience racism or racist behaviour. As a German I can only apologize. Unfortunately, German society is (in parts) still a bit behind when it comes to anti-racist behaviour, esp. compared to the US. You can fund reasons for this (in the German history, esp. the immigration history and the (very) long lines of mentality reaching all the way back to Nazism but that would lead to far at this point. :D I guess my point is that esp. young folks tend to be more in the what I'd call 'global mindset' which is aware of all of our different backgrounds and which treats racism as an absolute no-no. So, long story short... you struck me as a very nice person! Thank you for making these videos, keep going! 🙂

    Racism in Europe is very interesting. I felt it more in Italy, London and Paris than Germany so far. With the worst experiences in London. As oppose to you, people immediately assume I am African American in Europe. Although I've lived in the USA many years-and my English is pretty New York neutral-I was born and raised in Colombia. I think their idea of people from the USA is very White or Black.

    Probably if someone ask you were you are is because you not speak fluent German (that’s how we are 🙈) and if he respond “you are not looking like from California” this could means two different things
    1. You look like from a different country (kind of racism)
    2. You are not extremely overweight + wearing shorts and polo shirts, you can’t be from the states (a kind of a German compliment)

      However, almost all shops that accept cards also accept Apple Pay. Even if a credit card is used with Apple Pay.
      Only very few shops have blocked this function because the fees are too high for them. These are often small, owner-managed businesses that do not have good contracts with credit card clearing houses. In a few years everyone will accept Apple Pay.
