The very thin slot on the console you didn’t like is quite useful for things like gate access cards or those parking garage tickets.
Possibly, I feel it’s too big for that though. Unless you have a dozen cards. It’s a bit of an awkward size to be honest.
The things with velcro in the back are for the fire extinguisher
