This video is specific to installing a radio and backup camera into a 2014-2016 Chevy #Impala Limited (2006-2014 9th gen Impala) without the Bose factory system but the overall concepts and process can be applied to a wide variety of vehicles as long as the correct installation kit and wiring harnesses are utilized.

Do you have to get that adapter to keep the steering functions?

Great video. I basically followed it step by step. I installed it on my wife's 2016 Chevy Impala Limited LTZ. I did wire my own harness and went with a different camera. All went smooth, until I put everything in place and funny, I must have bumped the program button also, even with keeping it in mind. Thanks to you having done it 1st, it was a simple correction. I do have a question though. Does the temperature function on the instrument panel still work on yours? I just have dashes. Not sure if I missed a wire for something or that's how it will work now.
Never mind, it was a separate issue with temp control module.
Thank you! Glad to see you figured out the temp control module problem. Thankfully all of my temp functions still worked fine after the install :) Did you module fail or did you miss a plug or something?
