I wanted these so bad and I was so close to pulling the trigger however everyone keeps telling me to stay away from UEL because it’ll just out right kill the motor. I can’t wait to see how these hold up for a few people that have them installed. My main thing is having some reliable power. Can’t wait to hear and see how it comes out dude.
@@livinlikeleo there has been 0 engines reported that died from UEL headers since Subaru started making them. Everyone is a parrot. Repeating and pasting tid bits of information they hear and never actually have had or have any experience in them.
I've been tossing around picking em up. My dealer is really cool about tuning with the AP, and adding stuff that can make the car more efficient and reliable. AOS, intercooler, catback, intake, tune. All while honoring the warranty. Im going to talk to them tomorrow when I pick up my plates. If they don't care, I'll pick these up. Also, im in the FB group. Congrats about working with these guys

That'll neuter your car. Might sound good, but they'll screw up your car and make it less powerful. Might as well pipe fake audio of the rumble if all you buy this for is the noise.
They actually make more power. The dyno sheets have shown the loss at low end is almost non existant and they really pickup on the top end. DMANN and Clark Turner have tuned these and they make good power. Losing alittle on the low to mid range wouldn’t matter for most people as we’re already being torque limited in this range in our tunes anyhow.
@@Subi_doo going down a few levels in Google and searching for stuff here and on Facebook I've seen nothing that definitively proves what you said as being true, and only bad stuff having to do with damage and inefficiency. I'm not touching this product with a five foot tower brace. JDMuscle offers some great stuff but this seems bunk

What wear and tear do you expect to see from aftermarket larger primary headers? They aren’t increasing back pressure, so no pressure being added to the valves. The only downside is the collector is not twin scroll. However, since these cars lack boost feel, maybe having alittle lag and then a punch when boost hits might be what I need to get 4 cylinder turbo feels. Stock feels like a low powered v6. No turbo feelings.
