Sounds very nice bro. I have a 2020 Subaru WRX and I install the Tomie UEL Headers. And damn is sounds good with resonator and muffler deletes with straight pipe. I don't even have a down pipe yet. But yea your right it does not sound like the STI EJ but at the same time it still sounds awesome. It stills has the rumble but a little different from the EJ. Also I just did it for the sound too.
I got lucky Subi. Did mine at like 3k miles. Everything came off in like 20 minutes. Putting it back on was kind of a pain. But overall about 2 hrs. Everything snug, no leaks! I have less mods. Perrin intake, Noble single exit catback, and of course a 93 pro tune. Complete with a "burble" map, 93 map, 91 map, and valet map. I love how it feels more "like a turbo car" now. Boost kicks in slightly later, but when it does, pulls hard to redline. Without the burble tune, it's sedate until I mash on it. Boost coming in later = less wear on stock transmission. Without sacrificing highway mpg or real world drivabiltiy. All while pulling hard to redline when you want it. Thanks again for the hookup bro. -Robb

I should definitely break 400 after my retune with a Clark. I was at 398 on E before the headers. Now I just need to do big turbo and jpipe lol 😂

If your looking to heat up specific bolts/nuts check out the mini-ductor venom, works real good on stuck shit. Props to your guy for suffering through the install
@@KuyaPow626 the trick is to get everything out from under the car and then get the manifold really hot… let it idle and rev it lol…. Shut it off and quickly impact the nuts off. You want to impact the nuts off when the manifold is at its hottest. Problem with my install is we waited to long and the manifold wasn’t at its hottest
broke 2 studs and messed up threads on the J-Pipe side. on jack stands. just got the kit from jdmuscle that includes better studs. finally fixed yesterday
@@oscarp9336 nothing wrong with that. On the 2022+ wrx, power loss is negligible likely due to the increased displacement that I just couldn’t not do them.
@@Davesunga10 jdmuscle…. Twin scroll vs non twins scroll…. Not noticing much of a difference imo with non twin scroll. Boost does feel like it comes on just a tad bit harder.

Installed my UEL a few weeks ago with no issues. No broken studs.
