FINALLY SOMEONE THAT ACTUALLY GIVES DECENT TUTORTIALS ON RANDOM STUFF
I already know this app and how to use it also. But I have one thing to remember. The clownfish tutorial I saw before was created by another creator and your explanation is really much better always! Even though I know how to use it I will give it a second watch. When it comes to recording TH-cam videos mostly use your audio. Some TH-camrs do not tend to show their face but the audio is used in most cases. I think audio is the top priority when it comes to recording a video. So you want your audience to keep in touch and maintain audience retention until the end of the video. So this is a stunner! And that thumbnail! That glow around the mic is just fantastic!

Another big difference between them is that Voicemod tries to recognize what you're saying then repeat it in the voice you want making a delay but Crayfish just modifies your voice giving almost no delay

The thing about voice mod is that it’s basically a paid service if you have ever tried using the free version you would know that it sucks

🎤 How to use FREE Voice Changer app on PC 1342pm 10.1.24 it's interesting re: the ruses or the b.s folk implement to waste folk's time... i have attempted to explain to older members of my family that folk are apt to do this or even splice old recorded conversations together to trick or bemuse them. they don't listen... then maybe they dont listen to clown phoning them, either...(?) people need to be aware of such digital media abuse... the app to decode the voice being masked. has that been devised yet?
i feel that the voicemod $30 lifetime license is really worth it because you can get so many more voices and it can store way more sound effects

I've seen and used moblie apps for voice changing. But this is the 1st time i heard about voice changing apps that work on PC. Thanks kevin. You give something new every video.
Which apps are best on Android? I can't find a good one.
Thanks Kevin you may have helped me hugely. I've permanently damaged my vocal cords after a 2014 surgery, now I can't speak without airy voice, and so I never was able to do videos or speak with confidence on apps as I sound stupid. Clownfish makes me feel hopeful. I am looking for a "Calming, soothing, peaceful" type voice for guided meditation and meditative videos. Any ideas where I could find such a voice.
There are voice synthesizers where you can get a celebrity voice or customize voices. I'm still looking for good freeware though.
I'm in a similar position. Vocal chords were damaged since childhood. Trying to find a way to change my voice so that I can be a TH-camr.
I will try this in my tomorrow's school meeting. It's going to be fun! 😁

Clownfish is definitely better then Voice mod. It is all free, and it has multiple choices for the voice changer. I’ll 100% go with the 2nd one 👌🏻

Hi Kevin. I am following you for a while and your videos helped me a lot. I make videos using Shotcut. Sometimes I shoot video with very annoying windy sound. I don't know how to clear that audio. Did you come across with apps that could help to reduce or change the windy noise? Thanks
this is all to due to the internal components in a microphone, you should look into dynamic microphones to help eliminate that.

Hi Kev, this is fantastic. I've played with it and can video via Iriun (Galaxy) onto MS Camera and apply Clownfish to change my voice as I record. My question is that I cannot figure how to change the voice on an already created / pre-recorded video MP4 ? Is it possible to do this ? and can you please tell me how to ? I don't use OBS Studio as I use Openshot video editor, and camera to record as it's on my PC already. But can download OBS if I need to. Hope you can help. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Kevin, thanks for your video. Is there a way to connect this to your phone so that you can modulate your voice over phone calls, inbound and outbound?
Yes, you can use Skype to make a call to a phone number or connect your phone to the "your phone" app on Windows (if you have Android). You can then make outgoing calls with these voice changers.

instead of paying for skype or downloading an app, you can use google voice which hides your real number and it still works with the voice changer. thanks for the great video

Yeah, that’s what I did in the intro… I applied the effects after the recording. It’s a little complex but you can use a virtual audio cable to feed the recorded sound through these voice changers: vb-audio.com/Cable/index.htm. Then you just need another app like audacity to record the outputted sound.

Is there any voice changing software out there (Paid or Free) that realistically changes male to female and vice versa? I want to do my own voiceovers, rather than pay expensive fees by voice providers.
Not really. These software are only applying a pitch modifier filter to the sound going through. Depending on your real voice both pitch and tone you could get pretty close to sounding like a female with these but in most cases it will sound cheap, fake, and weird unless you can add some decent amount of REAL voice acting over it. Like trying to soften your voice, or using head voice instead of chest voice when talking ect... Some men can do a pretty decent job at imitating female voice with only voice acting tho
