The latter can be used to fabricate evidence to accuse someone of a crime he/she/they didn't commit unless there is a forensic way to distinguish real footage/recordings from deepfakes. (But I'm afraid the average joe won't be able to tell these apart.)
The future is dangling on the prospects of what we do now. We can keep it for entertainment or work value, but the moment it finds it’s way into advanced military technology is when humanity enters its next dark age.
I think something a lot of people might be concerned about is the prevalence of "always listening" smart devices. If they are listening, does that open them up your voice for use in a program like this yet remain within the licensing agreements for those products? it would be akin to what a lot of artists are upset about with images being scraped off the internet.
I think both of you are correct. From a purely factual POV: Yes, Siri or Alexa or any other device, who is always listening to us, could collect our voice and then train an AI to imitate us. From a purely practical POV: No, I don't think this is a serious concern. 1. @@princec.1001 pointed to the time code where PiXimperfect points out that it takes a lot of *time and money* to train an AI voice. 2. PiXImperfect also showed it human labor and human skill to check the quality of the produced AI voice, then change the settings and train further until the AI voice is perfected or believable. 3. The trained AI voice would not know our way of talking, also pointed out by PiXimperfect in this video. So the voice would not be perfectly believable to people close to us. So, why would a company go through that much effort to imitate you? 99% of us would make very boring targets, because we have too little money, or too little power and/or any crimes/sins we may have committed are too small to be exposed. Plus, the "hacker" who wants to imitate you would have to gain access to Apple or Amazon's databases and steal those voices from them. We also don't know how much Apple or Amazon keeps. Ideally, they keep our voice only for the amount of time necessary to process our command to Siri / Alexa. Most likely, they keep a small stash of our voices - like a week's worth or a month's worth, for testing purposes. But imagine years worth of voices from millions of customers being stored somewhere. That's a lot of data. Lots of data means lots of storage and lots of maintenance in the storage and organization of that big data. It's not impossible. It's just, in my opinion, unlikely.

I think they should always add some kind of watermark to the sound, regardless of your subscription or audio quality. This can be done by continuously adding some kind of recognizable audio pattern/noise, which humans can't hear. Hi. You could check out some AI covers of songs by other artists in MJ's voice. You'll find many. Amazingly, some of them sound very realistic. It's crazy to think how far AI has come.
society needs to answer some really tough questions surrounding these new technologies. good thing everyone is so level headed and we have a broad consensus on many diverse topics……
I created a voice, but after building it asks me to train it. It would be ok if I could hear a sample, but it doesn't show one as in the preloaded voices. The only way to hear the voice you created is to train it? :(
20 years ago when I was about 13, I couldn't even dream for this existing. I had one of these voice tape recorders and thought about how cool would it be to talk with the voice of a cartoon character.
Wow, this video is amazing! I can't believe there's a free AI tool that allows you to change your voice to any celebrity. It's so innovative and exciting to see how far technology has come. I can already imagine all the fun and creative things people can do with this tool, from creating funny videos to impressing their friends with their celebrity impressions. The possibilities are endless! I'm definitely going to try it out myself and see which celebrity voice I can nail.
I'm very concerned about security. Past training data might be useful for future voices with far far better capabilities in training, and if your voice is recorded for that long it can be duplicated and you can be at risk of being scammed or scamming others if people gather enough data and use your voice. Especially among family. I hope this is a serious concern.
Along with ContentID, I believe now we will need some sort of "HumanID" so not only can songs, videos and images be claimed, but also the sound of someone's voice. With all these new Drake AI songs dropping, I can only imagine how messy this is going to be for awhile until things are figured out! Great video!! :)
@@abram730 it’s not if you sound similar, because there are many artists that sound similar. It’s when it sounds identical, is when there would be a problem in my opinion. No dystopia, just artists earning what they deserve. Drake spent 20+ years building his image, and especially his sound, if you don’t think that his voice is an asset (absolutely recognizable in almost every scenario), you’re misunderstanding what ContentID is and what HumanID would be. It’s not to keep people from talking, it’s to give credit to the person that earned it. I’m not discrediting the writers of the Ai songs as, the songs wouldn’t exist without the lyrics they wrote; but then would it have even hit if it wasn’t Drakes voice? Just some things I’ve been thinking about; I could be wrong, but this is just how it seems in my opinion! I appreciate your reply🙏🏼
@@JohnnyB. Copyright is a right to copy, but this is original. You are talking brand, and not saying it is AI would clearly attack the brand, but that isn't copyright. This does also mean a human can't copyright AI generated content. Unless the AI is sentient, then what it made can't be copyrighted, only what the humans did. A cover band can perform a song written by an artist. These are AI covers A Cover band can't simply copy write their song, because it was written by another. This makes it arguable and something that would need a court to decide how much was them
I think that's pretty concerning. I work as a voicover artist and podcaster and I practice my voice every day to keep it in good shape as I get older - it's my tool. Now anyone can take one of my files and train an AI voice with it without me having any way to prevent that. This is a catastrophe from my point of view.
There are so many more potential issues! They can also start podcasts with celeb voices, they can voice act tv shows with angelina jolie or brad pitts voice now instead of yours. They are already writing the scripts with ai, now just apply tom cruises voice to the ai script and you have a voice actor! This needs to be illegal
There is a joke channel where the fellow is really developing his voice characters so funny but real. Now I am worried for him. I was doing amazing 3D Art. Spending days on an image? Software was coming out all over making my efforts pointless, so I quit. Can't say the name of the Joke channel. (TH-cam you know.)
I can see where it would be dynamite IF you can already mimic the impersonated voice's cadence and inflections reasonably well, and then it bridges the gap with the tonal match.
Hey, I have 2 questions. can I close the tabs while its building my voices or do I need to keep them open? and can I build multiple voices at the same time?
The days of using audio recordings as evidence in a courtroom trial are coming to an end. "I never said that! Somebody faked my voice! I'm being framed!" is going to be a very plausible excuse.
That's your fault because you fail to help lawfully end the existence of police and the rest of government. You can’t think of any good reason to support their existence in the first place, since there is nothing they do for anyone that couldn’t be done by the Private Sector (which would follow the "treat others as you'd like to be treated" rule of life) and funded by voluntary donors instead of stealing money from people and calling it “taxes”. If you continue to support the existence of police and prisons and the rest of government, you fail at proving yourself to be a good person. Take some responsibility and learn how to live in harmony with Natural Law.
I loved! I'm a big fan of Vtuber and to think that we can use their stremers to have their voices is going to be super fun. Hololive EN will have all the voices already on this site! ^^
This AI tool is fascinating, allowing you to change your voice to any celebrity (or even yourself!). While the quality isn't perfect, the potential for creative use is exciting. I'll be curious to see how this technology develops!
Here is the beigest tip anyone can give you if you want to peruse this. Think of it as an AUTO tune like you would use for music, but instead of trying to be in key or as close to, try to emulate the voice you're trying to recreate. So don't just speak normally in your own voice and tone, but more so try to copy the voice like you didn't have this program running, so learn the mannerisms and speech patterns and it will turn out so much better and more authentic 😁
It's here and it's not going away. You cannot undo it. We can choose how we view technology. The advancement of tech has two sides. We can forever be in fear or learn. I choose to learn. Again, thank you for your content. 🤙🏽

Imagine writers wanting to make an audio dramatization of their own stories/novel. It would be possible.
Yes please let us know where you made the female AI voice, THAT WAS INSANE.
I wonder how it would be handeled in Voice acting terms. If i make an animation and record all lines with these voices how is the legal term?
So we have AI-Art, Deepfakes, AI-Voices and more which can easily mimick someone, mimick their artwork style and much MUCH more.
It is really cool but also VERY Scary if this tech is used in the wrong way and to cause harm.
Beat me to it.
immortal authoritarian leaders, for example...
As an internet installer for 82 years I endorse this
Wow, that's astonishing! Very strange hearing realistic voices of celebs coming from Unmesh 👍
2023 is the year of AI in the history books! Great video
Soon people will be saving their family member's voices to use to chat with once their gone.
dude i love your videos keep it up 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I’d want to use YOUR voice in my tutorials lol
I'm a Michael Jackson fan, and years ago the thought of creating a voice creator to mimic Michael Jackson and do new songs with his voice came to my mind. I thought that would be cool. Now here it is. And yes, this technology can be quite cool, but expect a lot of "CRAP" to be done with it.
Same i am also his fan
Frauds and money hungry people will try to pull something to destroy his legacy by creating fake evidence against him. This goes for everyone as well. This could be use to hurt people.
Hi. You could check out some AI covers of songs by other artists in MJ's voice. You'll find many. Amazingly, some of them sound very realistic. It's crazy to think how far AI has come.
I love this dude! amazing content brother! very well done!
I think it would be great for voice-over projects, especially when you hate how your own voice sounds.
I think it's going to be a legal minefield
This is why I watched this video.
Absolutely fascinating. The good, bad and between. Use with integrity and be informed. Never fear because nothing is under control!
WHY do people say/write that something is free when is not???
Dude thank you so much, this voice changer will help me in a MILLION WAYS, thanks a lot!
This is the voice changing effect that people actually want! It's not some useless tool like Voicemod...
society needs to answer some really tough questions surrounding these new technologies. good thing everyone is so level headed and we have a broad consensus on many diverse topics……
lol, people are struggling to define basic words like woman, yet we're prepared for the neverending potential of AI?
I would search for Unmesh's voice so that I can keep creating.
Underratet comment
You write like AI too.
@@HarrisonTheGrey And you too.=)
@@Allways_Motivated Robots unite.
So, this is an audio version of deep fakes? Man, AI learning is getting so powerful
it's a lot easier to learn things from the way you explain it. you got excellent verbal communication skills sir good job. thanks.
I'm very concerned about security. Past training data might be useful for future voices with far far better capabilities in training, and if your voice is recorded for that long it can be duplicated and you can be at risk of being scammed or scamming others if people gather enough data and use your voice. Especially among family. I hope this is a serious concern.
You are over thinking it
Wow! unbelievable AI i didn't see in my life.✅
Along with ContentID, I believe now we will need some sort of "HumanID" so not only can songs, videos and images be claimed, but also the sound of someone's voice. With all these new Drake AI songs dropping, I can only imagine how messy this is going to be for awhile until things are figured out! Great video!! :)
So if you sound similar to a star, then you can't talk? Crazy dystopia you are demanding.
These are AI covers
A Cover band can't simply copy write their song, because it was written by another. This makes it arguable and something that would need a court to decide how much was them
You have alot of good info on everything !!
@@heavenlyarianator6335 Exactly!
@@heavenlyarianator6335 I'd say impersonation and privacy laws will jump on this real quick. If not then copyright will find its way in there.
@@OnlyGrafting "real quick" is where you lost me, have you met america? Shes slow
😯 Thanks buddy for sharing this amazing Web-app.
I am also interested in that Text-to-speech AI. Would be nice to make a video about it.
I can see where it would be dynamite IF you can already mimic the impersonated voice's cadence and inflections reasonably well, and then it bridges the gap with the tonal match.
0:38 how do we know if it's your real voice after all this time 👀
Frr
I can see lot of benefits on this for music production
Hey, I have 2 questions. can I close the tabs while its building my voices or do I need to keep them open? and can I build multiple voices at the same time?
Great content. Very informative. Keep it up!
The days of using audio recordings as evidence in a courtroom trial are coming to an end. "I never said that! Somebody faked my voice! I'm being framed!" is going to be a very plausible excuse.
AI can detect if the recording is real or made with AI.
@@mvprime8The sound files also have date tags if you go on properties.
Outstanding AI👏👏
I loved! I'm a big fan of Vtuber and to think that we can use their stremers to have their voices is going to be super fun. Hololive EN will have all the voices already on this site! ^^
😧
This channel is awesome, I mean, Awesome!
Its not free!
Fr lmao
5:07 yeah iffy sadly not as in needing a subscription without knowing until you get it.
Terrifying. This stuff is something society does not need, and it's going to cause alot of problems.
This AI tool is fascinating, allowing you to change your voice to any celebrity (or even yourself!). While the quality isn't perfect, the potential for creative use is exciting. I'll be curious to see how this technology develops!
Is anything really free?
no
I love barrack Obama speaking in your accent 😂❤️
This is SCAM , please, be serious.
it helped me soo much thank you
It isn't computer power , they using your GPU to mine
Here is the beigest tip anyone can give you if you want to peruse this. Think of it as an AUTO tune like you would use for music, but instead of trying to be in key or as close to, try to emulate the voice you're trying to recreate. So don't just speak normally in your own voice and tone, but more so try to copy the voice like you didn't have this program running, so learn the mannerisms and speech patterns and it will turn out so much better and more authentic 😁
I love you bro so much from now on you are my teacher I thought you only teach photoshop stuff but bro you are amazing I love you bro
Hey ❤
Is there a children’s voice? I want to make a spoken-choir for a music track.
soon
This is amazing!
It's here and it's not going away. You cannot undo it. We can choose how we view technology. The advancement of tech has two sides. We can forever be in fear or learn. I choose to learn. Again, thank you for your content. 🤙🏽
Oh too bad that I can't use it, I think it requires some computer power, and mine can't stream live and the recorded audios are kind of choppy.
Music is going to change forever with Technology, Dead Artist especially
Could I use any of these for voice recording or voice acting? Cuz I’ve been trying to find a good audio software where I can change my voice and wat not
It was so nice ❤
Okay this might be really random but whatever camera this man uses is INSANE
This is great I am still looking for the app that lipsyncs video
This tech is both amazing and scary at the same time.
