- Voice changers are generally buggy, annoying, and hard to use. I've looked at clownfish before and it sucked. But after a ton of suggestions for Voicemod, I checked it out and it is top quality stuff. The free version is great for exploring different voices but it can be a bit restrictive. The cost of premium can be very high but if you really like this program, it could be worth it.
I personally only use the free version and am content with the software :)

I use clownfish to get a lower pitch and tbh it works very good
thanks. I was looking for a voice changer to help me at work as I use a voip and my voice is kind of high pitched and nasally. I wanted something to make my voice deeper and I think it might be behind the paid ones, but don't want to spend the money if it turns out the paid voices won't work for me. Thanks for the tutorial.

Nice! But do you have something that's applicable for Android phones? I'm having a hard time looking for the best app.
Bad thing about this is just it's not fully free and you don't have so much options. But I like it. It's very nice program.
I had a VM, so I downloaded this. Little did I know that external headphones don't work with VMs.
Yeah I had to run this on my normal PC and not my VM since basic VMs are a bit nasty with audio devices.
I hope they make a Mac version soon...

I've been playing on garageband for a couple weeks and just got the trial of softs. I was worried there wouldn't be any clear tutorials, but
so ive downloaded voicemod, but for some reason its not picking up my voice. its saying check your sample rate? any help please :)
The noise reduction built into VOICEMOD has poor performance, but it cannot be turned off.
So all details in the sound are lost.
Not suitable for broadcast use
It can't be more than that for toy use.

Very good, Recommended. Although whenever I play it back it sounds very muffled and low quality. Any idea why? Weird.
Go into your windows microphone settings and make sure the frequency matches what your normal microphone is

You can download your own MP3 files and then add those to voicemod with the plus button so you can have plenty of sounds

Good premium. Would be a shame if the soundboard had a 50 per cent change to completely reset itself if you restart your pc while the app is starting up.

I'm not too sure, sorry. If it shows up as a normal audio device in windows then Voicemod should be able to route it into the software to change your voice. Keep in mind that this will increase your microphone's latency.

I pay for voicemod and all but I don’t really think it’s better than clown fish, it may have a lot more voices but they’re not as high-quality. Every time I use clown fish it sounds fine but when using voicemod the voice changers just go robotic for no reason.

I want to get a voice changer to have a kid voice bc I have a really deep voice and wonder what it's like if I sound like a kid. But last time I used voice mod and I deleted it, it removed my mic and I needed to reinstall my microphone driver idk why it did that and since then I never touched voice changers

Honestly if you want a "gaming" VM then you will need to use Linux and set up a fancy VM using QEMU and KVM. All of this stuff is completely out of my skillset so using those terms you should be able to figure something out.

When I add the GMS, it was giving differend soft in spead of yours
it's terrible, you can't use it normally when streaming you have to turn off your own and then go into voice mod and turn on hear myself and the voice changer so it then comes through as a desktop audio, voice sometimes breaks in and out on top of, each new day when you reopen programs my laptop doesn't detect my microphone anymore and this app blocks it so i have to now change my mic on the app so my normal set up before this app is working and if want to use this app i have to now not only turn my mic setting back on in the app itself, then turn it off and then activate hear myself and voice changer on to use the app. 2/10 could be so much better and easier to use, the 2 is purely for the sounds you can use
