This land lord is very considerate. Not only did he reduce the rent by 20% during lockdown, but he also waved off some outstanding debts from the tenant. Let's give a big like 👍 to the landlord.

I'm happy that my country people are now being wise enough to sue themselves to court instead of taking laws into their hands,and an average citizen can also sues! This is a great development I love that because I can remember years back it was only the rich people who took the poor ones to the court while dragging for their lands.

Integrity (or the lack of it) is always an issue!

Really enjoyed this case - serious yet entertaining and educational at the same time. This is a very special judge - she is supportive of both plaintiff and defendant and educates both at the same time- she also knows how to make court and the law very relaxed and funny and has a good sense of humour- a rare thing

1) make agreement orally. ALWAYS put it in written form signed and dated.
2) Never accept part payment for rent. It is always the beginning of troubles.

Without even collecting damaging fees earlier now I have to use my fund to fix it... But is better than tying my Money down for another year...

With sympathy I allow the other one pay six months he will give the remaining 6months in 2months my oga nah e I dey till now...

I have had very bad experiences from tenants and none of them is an Igbo.
