That is not strength, she is suppressing herself and telling people she is 'fine' when deep down she is going through trauma. This is the characteristic that man capitalised one. Imagine if she shouted loudly from the top of her voice, drilled him and held him accountable...at least he will know he can't get away with half the BS he did. That 'all is well' approach has left her broken. I hate that good people suffer. And rather than have criminal charges filed for assault she is investigating divorce. I would be relieved by divorce because this type of man will do the same thing with the new wife. Or the new wife would do worst to him. Her true bravery is standing up for herself and coming to court.

Cos I see no other better explanations to a young lady like this seeing a pit so clearly and falling into it. This is sad. She obviously married a Scammer. This idea of not talking to anybody, keeping to yourself is part of what led her to this. She couldn't even open up to her mum. We all need friends whether good or bad there are lessons to be learned. How can you not have someone to talk to ( church, workplace, neighborhood, old school mate etc) about the guy right from the dating period. The signs were there yet she ignored them.
