If you keep doing this same test, over time the tractor will get bigger and stronger...

That was great putting it to the test nothing beats a visual than just numbers on the screen

Man I like your videos but I’m still trying to decide why you have a tractor other than you wanted one. 😂 and if that’s the reason I still support that!

Hi Dave, I always understood breakout force as the weight that you could break with the curl function. Example of coming into a pile with a straight or slightly angled down bucket then curling back. That would be the weight at the pins that it could curl up. Same example, come into the pile and just lift the loader arms would be the less weight at the pins. I don't know if that helps or not. Enjoyed the video. Like these kind of tests.

I believe you are correct on this after double checking. My dealer mis-lead me on the breakout force. Very confusing. Thanks for pointing this out.

I was pleasantly surprised and how much this little tractor could lift. Mighty Mouse.

Nice test Dave! I was suprised at how much the 2601 lifted. As you said though in perfect conditions. I’m sure you don’t want to be driving around with that much weight. 👍🏻👍🏻

Totally agree. Tractor was maxed out and you would tip if on uneven ground.

    Fun video…
The pivot pins are on the ends of the loader arms, not the cylinder ends.
Breakout force as I understand is the hydraulic power that the FEL can exert using curl and lift.

Good test tractor did better than what some people say but real world test leta person know what it will actually do compared to what they should do. Thanks for sharing

You need to know the weight of the SSQA adapter too.

Hi! Do you have the info on where to purchase this grapple in Ontario?

On you red dust coupler plugs on the 3rd function connection can you tell me what size those are. I am a new tractor owner and I’m not sure how to measure for the correct ones to get. Your setup looks like mine. Any help would be appreciated.

You need a grill protector if you’re going to be using a grapple, 511 Designs makes a great one for the b2301/b2601

    • @timbertimeoutdoors9836
      @timbertimeoutdoors9836  ปีที่แล้ว

Yes I do. We broke our grill on the MX5800 a while back. Its on my list and I love the guards that 511 sells. I see Kubota now offers one for the L 02 series.

  • @mr.redneck2715

You could pickup another hundred pounds with lighter single piston grapple. Especially if your mainly picking up that type of log.
I’m not criticizing you, just saying!

That rear blade is nowhere near enough ballast for using the loader

    • @timbertimeoutdoors9836

I have the tires filled as well. It works well as it hangs back a ways.

@@timbertimeoutdoors9836 that helps with stability, but it doesn’t take weight/stress off the front axle, which rear ballast does.

Personally my rear blade and my ghetto booty is more than enough ballast.
