This looks too comlicated. Moving barrel, bolt-locking system, so many small mechanical parts... meh. I understand, why this pistol wasn't so popular. But - magazine design looks very interesting.
@@methodeetrigueur1164 This rotating bolt later has become a standart for assault rifles - STG44, AK, M16/AR series and pretty much every modern assault rifle has it. But using it in pistol is questionable idea. Because pistol needs to be simple and reliable weapon.
@@serhiid3758 The tilting bolt (Colt - Browning) is the most used mechanism. But it’s not the only one. You can always see rotating bolt in some pistols like the French MAB P-15 or the Italian Beretta PX4 Storm. The barrel being fixed, the accuracy is better.
It feels so modern despite being one of the oldest semi-automatic pistols in existence.
