French resistance groups use these to get the jump on the German troops during their occupation in France so the resistance can grab ahold of better weapons. The Liberator is discarded immediately after
@@spongeygamer I own three. When you load an en-bloc in, there isn't enough room between the round being picked up and the top of the bolt to catch your finger and do anything but bounce it out of the way. M1 thumb is only possible on an empty magazine and only if you're stupid.

The en-bloc is the clip that is inserted into the magazine. You're going to need to go get an M1 if you want to talk about this with any authority.

They did the Garand right with those reloads. There are around 16 different variations of the reload, a fitting number for one of the most iconic firearms of all time. And including the Garand thumb is a nice touch you don’t see everyday, especially in video games.

Apparently there's actually a second barrel change animation for the 34 when it has the magazine specialisation, but it runs out of ammo before it overheats, so it's never seen.
Yeah, same here. To the point where I reload an assault rifle after every shot; if I see my ammo count is f.e. 30/132, I shoot twice to reload and round it up to 30/130; when I see a gameplay video where the guy runs around with even 1 missing bullet from the clip and doesn't reload immediately, it bugs the living hell out of me to the point where I can't even concentrate on the gameplay itself. XD
The battlefield games really be showing me guns I had NEVER thought would have existed back then. I love how they have the most absurd but coolest guns too
animations are unnecessarily stylish, but extremely satisfying to watch and listen. I had problems with the way some guns were held and operated, but overall, I am in love.
This game could’ve had SO much potential, I loved this update, and I realized this is the final one and I got sad, but they decided to rewrite history, not fix bugs, and make cosmetics no one wanted.
This is what happens when you mock your fanbase and make the game more "progressive" instead of just making your normal triple-A WW2 shooter but no, EA decided to add women with cyborg arms in a WW2 game. Works in Wolfenstein where it's an alternate-reality dystopia future, but doesn't work in a game supposedly grounded in realism.

Sure, there were women in the game but this time in a more "accurate" place such as being spies or underground partisan forces.
Came here after the 2042 video, this as well as BF1 and 4 are so much more smoother and less junk. I welcome fans of tactical reloading and other styles, but you gotta do it with skill if you commit to any style of reloading animations. The animators of MW and Sandstorm didn't animate all of their guns in just a week or even a few months

People with double barreled shotguns always make it look like the player just taps the empty socket and suddenly a shell is there, but I love how this game actually shows the slight struggle and action of the shell like GOING in.
For the rifles with 10-round magazines, @Hectorlo was trying to demonstrate both the stripper clip and the round-by-round animations in one video clip.
@@no-bodymr6419 Battlefield 1 and 5 included guns used in the war and the prototypes to fill the gaps some guns with optical variants do look weird in Battlefield 1 my favourite load out for Battlefield 1 was Burst MP18 and Mars pistol.
Except for the 1911. I feel as if the animation always kinda sucked, I've shot a few, and an old one that my dad owns. The recoil is wrong (It pops rather than makes a smooth cycle) and the reload is... Atrocious. Don't get me wrong, I never liked BF's 1911 reload animations in any game, BF1 was pretty good, but still, I thought it was meh, and you wouldn't really ever grip the slide during a reload in combat. In BFV though? It's just damn wrong. The slide goes back about an inch and a half and it SHOULD go back at least twice that distance. What does it mean if it only goes back that far? Well son you've either got a double feed or a failure to eject. WHY did they mess it up?!

I don't know if game itself was (or was not) bad, but these reload animations are just purely cool and stylish. It is also matched for under combat situation, tense and slappy (both for good terms).
The Animations that really stood out to me is the LMGs Overheating. That's a impressive detail, and i don't think i seen any game that did this mechanic

This game could’ve had SO much potential, I loved this update, and I realized this is the final one and I got sad, but they decided to rewrite history, not fix bugs, and make cosmetics no one wanted.
This is what happens when you mock your fanbase and make the game more "progressive" instead of just making your normal triple-A WW2 shooter but no, EA decided to add women with cyborg arms in a WW2 game. Works in Wolfenstein where it's an alternate-reality dystopia future, but doesn't work in a game supposedly grounded in realism.
Have you seen the cosmetics that are getting added in a few days? They are fucking bonkers in the best ways possible.
That's what happens when people complain about not enough cosmetics in the last game.

@@spunkysamuel wasn't that woman from the BFV reveal trailer had this prosthetic arm or some shit? And about CoDWW2... It was just an incredibly bland and watered-down version of WaW. Sure, there were women in the game but this time in a more "accurate" place such as being spies or underground partisan forces.
I also appreciate the overheat animations for the MG34 and 42, where you swap out the barrels when they overheat. Nice detail.

Came here after the 2042 video, this as well as BF1 and 4 are so much more smoother and less junk. I welcome fans of tactical reloading and other styles, but you gotta do it with skill if you commit to any style of reloading animations. The animators of MW and Sandstorm didn't animate all of their guns in just a week or even a few months
They literally using Doom 1993 assets to animating those reloads
I miss the Mosing Nagant, the PPSH-41, the SVT-40, the PTRD/PTRS-41 and the DP-28 in this game.

People with double barreled shotguns always make it look like the player just taps the empty socket and suddenly a shell is there, but I love how this game actually shows the slight struggle and action of the shell like GOING in.
The fact that he reloads a barrel for overheated mg barrles is so awesome...this game is so detailed.

Strange how a lot of the guns have 9 rounds in the mag making it take a long time to reload instead of having 10 rounds.
For the rifles with 10-round magazines, @Hectorlo was trying to demonstrate both the stripper clip and the round-by-round animations in one video clip.
Despite being a dead game, it still has pretty good animations and sounds IMO.
Is still heavily relevant to many Asian and European..and perhaps some American players too
It's better than call of duty in my opinion. Don't know why it's so slept on.

@@no-bodymr6419 Battlefield 1 and 5 included guns used in the war and the prototypes to fill the gaps some guns with optical variants do look weird in Battlefield 1 my favourite load out for Battlefield 1 was Burst MP18 and Mars pistol.

Except for the 1911. I feel as if the animation always kinda sucked, I've shot a few, and an old one that my dad owns. The recoil is wrong (It pops rather than makes a smooth cycle) and the reload is... Atrocious. Don't get me wrong, I never liked BF's 1911 reload animations in any game, BF1 was pretty good, but still, I thought it was meh, and you wouldn't really ever grip the slide during a reload in combat. In BFV though? It's just damn wrong. The slide goes back about an inch and a half and it SHOULD go back at least twice that distance. What does it mean if it only goes back that far? Well son you've either got a double feed or a failure to eject. WHY did they mess it up?!

I love how the Jungle Carbine and the Enfield’s grenades are a can and a frag grenade while the rifle after that is a miniature warhead

It is also matched for under combat situation, tense and slappy (both for good terms).

Johnathan Ferguson taught me that the M1 Garand reload is incredibly realistic because the player uses what is basically a mag release.
