here's a few things for cures for heartburn
      Ensure you consume enough water.
      Avoid tomatoes
cut down on citrus fruit eg lemons, oranges
cut down on smoking, drinking alchol or caffeinated drinks
(I learned these and why they work on Alinn Heartburn Relief site )

I’ve been having stomach issues since I was 15 . I’m 46 now . No doctor has ever helped me . Just anti acid and prescription for ibs and gerd . Always had issues with acid reflex , really extreme . And constipation , always been an issue . Stomach issue run in my family but no one has had positive results from doctors. 2 years ago I got to where I seemed allergic/ intolerant to most foods . Went to the doctor, no help so I figured it out myself . Was fine for almost a year and lost 30 pounds . Then it hit me again and gained weight back , get tired, migraines , nausea, bloating , pain etc . Someone told me the other day maybe gallbladder . Everytime I eat I’m a mess even fuzzy thinking , get super cold , tired like my blood pressure lowers Idn just guessing . Last year for 3 months my hair just started falling out . I now have about half the amount of hair prior to falling out. Does any of this seem like it can be my gallbladder or SIBO or ? Please let me know I’m exhausted with all this ! Both these issues sound like they have what I’m fighting. I’ve been trying to change eating , do research , take herbs etc . Trying so hard to figure this out and there’s been no results from doctors they are want to give me anti acids . Now I just want to scream when I heard them trying to give me anti acids ! I’ve just changed doctors again in hopes to find one that cares enough to help.

@@mysterious485 thank you and you maybe right . I’ve been taking recommended stuff as in apple cider vinegar, hydrochloric acid, garlic and so forth just to see if this helps . So far I feel like it is . I’ve been always given anti acids so it’s upsetting that maybe I was battling the wrong issues and fighting against it instead of fixing my stomach . 30 years later it’s at its worse . Will take all my research I’ve been gathering and taking it all you a new doctor . Thank you again for your response

@Tom WaterFooler hydrochloride is acid. You don't need acid to digest food. But you need metals such as sodium, potassium, zinc, copper, iron, magnesium, cobalt in your body (Complex carbs such as whole grain wheat flour, brown rice & milk etc with give you these) Which will release hydrogen from your food you eat every time to give enough heat to disinfect & digest food.
If you think hydrochloride will work, good luck. It will only cause you weight cause, stomach ulcers, low immunity, osteoporosis etc etc.

Hi, Rowena here from The SIBO Doctor. It can indicate either high or low acid so you would use this information in conjunction with other signs to determine which may be an issue. As Dr Jacobi discusses, ridges in the fingernails and difficulty digesting protein (feeling heavy after eating meat etc..) may indicate low stomach acid. It's best to work with your healthcare practitioner to determine so that they can provide an appropriate protocol to improve your digestion.
