Thanks. The market is in flux and I don't know when the EV transition will settle down. As the average American only occasionally needs to haul cargo, they might get away with EVs for short distances. I expect that gas and diesel pickups will always be required.
Screw the RAM 1500. I built a RAM 3500 6.4 V8 SCab, LWB Tradesmen LOADED for $56,285.00 at their website. This will allow me to load an 8-11 or 10-2 Northern Lite Camper.
No Ram at all. Original motor made it 178k miles. A new engine made it 22k. Stellantis warrantied it with a rebuild that took them 2 months to drop in. The rebuild doesn't run right and uses 2 more mpg but dealer says it's "operating within its parameters".

Price is the number one reason I won't buy any brand new truck. They are all over priced.
