Well, then you need to find a video that covers that problem. This is a "keeps turning off" video, not a "wont turn on" video. If your console has an external power supply, that should be your starting point. Buy a new power supply or if you're mechanicallly inclined, open up power supply to see if a capacitor needs to be replaced.
My xbox turns on and off it isn't the power brick or the hdmi because it works on my other xbox but the other xbox has a none working disk drive. The xbox that turns off seems to shut off when ever there is a disk in the console.
It’s because there’s this little chip in the computer that conducts with this heat sink paste better known as thermal paste and overtime that paste dries out and stop conducting causing the Xbox to die. My dad took mine apart and put new thermal paste in which worked, but now it’s come back I know it can’t be the Xbox it self in hoping it is the very old original Xbox one power supply it came with its an 8 year old console which was my older brothers I think I’m gonna replace the power supply and see if that fixes it from turning off and weirdly sometimes turns on by itself 😅

In the end I hit the thing with a brick hammer several times and chucked it in the bin. Then got an Argos card and got a new Xbox series x with 6 months til I have to pay anything. Sorted!!!!!😂

I feel like sometimes you have some corrupt files on your save game data and when your Xbox tries to keep it available for you it just overloads. I've noticed that loading a 360 game makes a loud noise and causes alot of "turbulance" or whatever so I reset it and just kept the one game I play. So I'm gonna run an example by you, say your playing call of duty (the new one) where u play with pc's and playstations too online and your game just drops and kicks u to the homepage. The backwards compatibility is kinda the same cus it's linking you to servers that are no your xbox one server. I feel like just having those old ass files and mixing consoles isn't healthy for ur machine. Like using diesel in a premium gas car shit just won't work. Backwards compatibility and cross platform gaming is very new so I'm just gonna hop on the wagon that sais "stick to your sticks" I dont trust it too much i don't think it's been around long enough for it to have no reprocussions to your device
I found a method that works, (REMOVES ALL FILES) 1st, open Xbox startup trouble shooter, and reset this device, when it is done resetting, setup your Xbox like normal. This worked for me, but may not work for some people

Have you done a teardown on your console to completely clean out the entire device? Youd be surprised how dirty consoles get on the inside over years of it just sitting in the same spot.
