You can carry 2 weapons with you, one on you and the other on the mount. You hop on your mount and you can swap to that other weapon mid-fight or whenever you like.
@@imsidvicious it doesn’t particularly useful if it’s only on the mount, I’d be more excited if you could swap seamlessly in combat to basically combo moves between weapons. Like using the insect glaive vault to set up aerial attacks on other weapons.
There are a lot of good additions in this game, the settings for us low vision/blind players could be a little more robust, but it's alright. The UI is difficult to get throw during combat. It could be better.

I'm curious to see how useful weapon swapping will be in the late game and end game experience. Early should be fine as we don't really worry about builds yet. Although in past games in late game/end game content we build our sets with one weapon in mind in tandem with specific armor skills (and gem slots) to create a specific playstyle. Swapping just the weapon might not be ideal, like having a some of ice elemental attack gems on your armor and ice weapon, but you swapped to a fire weapon but still have the ice gems on your armor. Or you bring focus on your armor and swap to a weapon type mid fight that doesn't have a charged attack or meter to build up. Maybe the gearing in Wilds will be different, simplified, or balanced elsewhere to account for stuff like this to make weapon swapping a non-issue? Or maybe just creating a build with a single weapon in mind would still be better? Idk, just some theory crafting.
GL, CB, and SA all benefit from the same phials, as well as Horn and Hammer for stun, as well as LS, DB, and IG with power uptime and sharpness, alternatively, just take a Bow or Bowgun with every weapon. The ammo will still do most the work.
