I don't know if gimmicks count for Ring Of The Hawk but Hollywood Rock had 6 matches (not counting 1 house show match) in total. Surely, that's a A grade video. First match under the gimmick was VS. Hulk Hogan at No Way Out 2003 in February and the last match was VS. Goldberg at Backlash 2003 in April.

My friends and I went to an indie show back in '99 and we started talking to this random dude. He told us how he was training to become a professional wrestler. When we asked him if he was planning on being a face or a heel he answered that he was going to be like Mortis. Confused, we asked him to clarify. He said he was going to start off wearing a mask and then eventually stop wearing it. Just like Mortis.
His story is tragic. The interviews he did where he's talking about all the tapes, he was dedicated to the craft and like a previous comment, took bumps pulled off moves, and could fit on any part of the card.
I might just be drunk, but I’ve been here with marky since basically the beginning (like 3k subs) and it just sounds like he’s tired of doing this type of content. Idec what he does even when it seems like he’s annoyed with what he’s doing it it’s still better than twat culture. I just want him to love what he’s doing. I don’t wanna say he got me out of dark times, but I listened/watched this shit when I was climbing out of dark times. I will always watch every video. I just hope he starts doing something he loves.
Always liked Kanyon. Just about every match your see him do a new move or a cool reversal. He took some crazy bumps(like that 3 tier cage match) and he was pretty good on the mic. But he'd always have a ceiling. In WCW because of the upper card guys and politics and in WWE because he was a WCW guy. Don't care what Bruce says, they buried those guys in promos and in the ring.
Not sure if he'd ever be considered, given the tastelessness of the gimmick towards the end, but by my search, it appears Muhammad Hassan should be eligible to be scouted for ROH.

Kanyon was damn fun to watch in the ring. I loved how he'd do different stuff or modify an old school move to make it fresh. Definitely one of the underrated talents of the Monday Night Wars
I have 2 requests for ROH:
1 - Marty The Moth in Lucha Underground (I think he had 28 or 29 matches. I've been asking for one on him for a while now since I love Lucha Underground and I enjoyed your Angelico in LU video)
2 - The Rock's Hollywood gimmick.
Dawg you came thru with tha who betta video🔥🔥
He was one of my favoirite characters to play as in wcw/nwo revenge! Awesome move set!
Chris Kanyon was a LEGEND
Kanyon`s Moveset is amazing
Do you think there'll be a ring of the hawk episode about Jerry Lynn's WWF run?
Kanyon has the best swinging neckbreaker in the business.
Kanyon was built like a cross between Al Snow and Bradshaw.
thanks for doing cayon
Mortis was one of the coolest gimmicks ever
Kanyon feels like an old-school Dolph Ziggler: a talented wrestler who is mostly used as an enhancement talent when they should get a bigger push. I didn't know about Chris Kanyon as he was before my time but I gotta say I really enjoy his wrestling.
1999 is 2 years too late for this too make any sense
They told him he was not allowed to do anything in the Fed.
One of my top 10 wrestlers as far as performers. Way ahead of his time.
One of my top 5 of all time...
Due an alternate Ring of the Hawk where you have to have a minimum of 1500 matches with a promotion. Start with Dolph Zigglers run in WWE
I forgot Kanyon was in WWE and I was watching then.
Kanyon’s WCW matches were a lot better than his WWE ones. There’s a reason why he was given the nickname The Innovator of Offense.
Realy good video m8
Always liked Kanyon. Just about every match your see him do a new move or a cool reversal. He took some crazy bumps(like that 3 tier cage match) and he was pretty good on the mic. But he'd always have a ceiling. In WCW because of the upper card guys and politics and in WWE because he was a WCW guy. Don't care what Bruce says, they buried those guys in promos and in the ring.
Not sure if he'd ever be considered, given the tastelessness of the gimmick towards the end, but by my search, it appears Muhammad Hassan should be eligible to be scouted for ROH.
Watching a Kanyon match was a treat. You were almost always guaranteed to see something new and innovative.
