I agree with the majority of comments, Taker just ALWAYS laid in the chair shots. He *always* laid them in, and he *ALWAYS* made sure that when *he was taking one* that they SWUNG like they were up at bat in the final inning. In no way did Taker take out any personal beef with Kanyon. But at the same time, if you told me that Vince or the office told Taker to go out there and put some mustard on his shots for this segment, i wouldnt think twice about that. Because WWE and Vince back then were very petty and extremely peculiar about how they handled their business. So if Kanyon pissed off the office and accused them if they didn't sign him and properly push him because he was gay, i could definitely see Vince sending Taker out there to lay out Kanyon. But i just cant see it, this was during the time when Kanyon was tryig to hide his sexuality, and apparently it was a poorly kept secret. But even in the Dark Side Of The Ring episode, Kanyon was extremely paranoid about this. But yeah, there's no way that Taker took liberties with Kanyon because he was gay.
Taker had some of the best chair shots though.. they were clean and straight down the middle and they always looked hard af.. you could hear that smack from across the arena lol.. He would wind all the way back and bring it down hard.. While Stone Cold for example would just throw it around like a mad man
Chair shots suck these days. Attitude era was the best. Undertaker you're a legend and screw what the trolls say. Nothing will ever compare to the 90s and 2000s era of wrestling. Then you got Mick Foley who never put his hands up ever on a chair shot. Btw I've hit my big toe on a couch and ripped the nail completely off. I know that couch pain. 😂
To put this in perspective, Yokozuna was well over five hundred pounds yet he never hurt anyone in his short career because he knew how to give and take. Taker did that for over thirty years and the opponents he faced were more unsafe than he ever would be and that's a testament to the quality of a performer he was and still occasionally is for spots.
in Takers defense theres been more than one occasion where he almost killed a man, most famous of course being Hogan when he violently tombstoned him on that chair. Man had to call his family in it was that serious
The one where he smacked Shawn Michaels square in the forehead when he was already busted open, and then promptly threw the chair away in disgust is one that always stood out to me.
As someone that’s almost 10 years clean myself….If you’d have told me name any wrestler from that era that had the same EXACT issue as me I’d never have even had Maven in my top 40. He just looks smarter than that but it goes to show it can be anyone. Addiction can hit anyone.
the middle of the chair is perfect shot, no edge or legs to dent your skull, makes a great sound that sounds painful as fuck, and really when your head is trained does not really hurt. and will not cause concussion if on the correct part of the skull ---- note: for a couple of shots only... not for 14 or whatever it was for the mankind rock match where mankind was handcuffed and had no chance to use the hands to protect the head.
Maven is on the show talking with Mark like good close friends why would someone who has issues because he got a chair shot full of intentional pain be on he's podcast
Doubt the page /anyone from Six feet under YT will see this but if someone does. You should start putting video clips in These shorter videos. For example, show a 20 second clip of the maven chair shit while they’re talking about it, show the takers first tombstone as he’s talking about it etc. And just clip It over the video in post production. Just a thought/suggestion. Love the show , I was a 90s kid, and love anything even somewhat attitude /ruthless era of wrestling!

Yeah, that still makes me cringe whenever I see a clip of that 😬
Shawn Michaels in HIAC was nuts and Kanyon obviously. Ouch
Shot against Brock at Unforgiven 2002. Oh my gosh!!
Considering how many hes done i think his ratio is pretty safe
I would love to eventually see Stone Cold as a guest and they go through the storyline they had. Especially when Austin got knocked out in NYC and Earl Hebner goes dammit boy you in da Gaden lol
the laugh by both after the phone joke in the beginning was such a good vibe. Who doesnt love Mark. I do like that they are talkin. Very good clip.
Honestly Maven sounds like such a chill dude
Never thought I would hear the undertaker like this
I agree with the majority of comments, Taker just ALWAYS laid in the chair shots.
0:15 omg that wheeze 😂
If Undertaker hit me with a chair, I would brag about it the rest of my life.
Really Really Enjoying Seeing The Man Behind The Character That Is/Was Undertaker 👍 Prosper On Mr. Mark Calaway
Who would have thought that Taker and Maven was the podcast we all needed? Seriously I didn't have it on my bingo card and they are awesome together
Undertaker and Rock always swung for the fences when they delivered chair shots
To put this in perspective, Yokozuna was well over five hundred pounds yet he never hurt anyone in his short career because he knew how to give and take. Taker did that for over thirty years and the opponents he faced were more unsafe than he ever would be and that's a testament to the quality of a performer he was and still occasionally is for spots.
my favorite wrestler
maven with the uncle leo reference right off the bat
Mark is the pinnacle of professionalism and leadership.
in Takers defense theres been more than one occasion where he almost killed a man, most famous of course being Hogan when he violently tombstoned him on that chair. Man had to call his family in it was that serious
Hogan NEVER touched that chair
@@BillRanes it's called being a smartass
One of best hogan stories 😭😂😂
lol yea ikr, the part where he told them to get his family on the phone is wild lmao
The one where he smacked Shawn Michaels square in the forehead when he was already busted open, and then promptly threw the chair away in disgust is one that always stood out to me.
That wheeze at 0:15 🤣
Taker has that "uncle at the cookout" kinda laugh. 😂
@@avampirenamedenzi😂
Taker is pure greatness and a class act
Mavena is built for TH-cam his channel is amazing and his a good story teller
He did not crack a smile at sandle boy😂😭
That clip of Undertaker giving Koko the tombstone gets me every time ! 😂😂😂
Maven has made a hell of a career exposing the ins and outs of wrestling after a 5 year career actually wrestling
Maven with the smirk 2:00
I know he’s not being sarcastic but it always reminds me of his toys 😂
These two should podcast together all the time
I take it that phone belonged to Mideon, Dennis Knight! Can't wait to see his episode!!! :D
8:20 should've said, "well, you're sitting on a chair, I'd BETTER apologize".
Taker laughing at Curt's fanny pack sent me
As someone that’s almost 10 years clean myself….If you’d have told me name any wrestler from that era that had the same EXACT issue as me I’d never have even had Maven in my top 40.
At 5:22 you can see undertaker burning a hole in Matt with his look and trying to recover his calm demeanor 😂
Doubt the page /anyone from
Six feet under YT will see this but if someone does. You should start putting video clips in
These shorter videos. For example, show a 20 second clip of the maven chair shit while they’re talking about it, show the takers first tombstone as he’s talking about it etc. And just clip
It over the video in post production. Just a thought/suggestion.
Love the show ,
I was a 90s kid, and love anything even somewhat attitude /ruthless era of wrestling!
It's well known kanyon was a little off his rocker. James Mitchel have an interesting story about it on dark side of the ring
