The negatives of the partnership will come if this show gets dominated by the wwe people. With the roster getting bloated, they might start sending some of their unused wrestlers to TNA. The problem would be when they start dominating the title picture
@JohnnyJustice777 I'll be honest, TNA was in the last rotation before falling down the drain. ANYTHING from anyone (AEW, WWE, NXT, GCW) is only going to help them. Being that it was NXT, which will benefit them also, I'm actually pretty excited to see what they do. I can't remember the last time I said that about TNA.
It's crazy how we're getting to the point where for the second time there's three main American wrestling promotions: the WWE, a big money company that tries to directly attack WWE with a money mark billionaire's checkbook, and a distant third promotion that's more niche than the other two but consistently garners goodwill from the hardcore wrestling fanbase. It's like it's 1998 all over again.
If you want to be technical, TNA joined Toys R Us as US companies that are now officially Canadian companies because Anthem (TNA's owners) is from Canada. I think that's also part of the reason Sportnetwork in Canada gave TNA the timeslot that use to belong to WWE here in Canada. So it's WWE, the big money company run by a money mark billionaire and a Canadian company that's understandably last place. EDIT: Ironically the internet wrestling community is constantly ignoring Women of Wrestling where despite their negligence, generally was doing around 250,000-300,000 viewers per show which is pretty good.
I don’t care about the Tessa thing, I just know that if WWE will kowtow to fans once death threats get involved. So don’t be surprised if these crazies do that WWE tells TNA to bury Tessa and they’ll do. WWE is that spineless.
If you were to ask me about 4 years ago, let alone 1 year ago that The Hardys would be back in TNA, I would’ve said “no chance in hell” AEW partnership crossover with Matt that one time or not, I never thought it’d happen & seeing them back now is still so surprising & feels so surreal. Like a fever dream that I have yet to wake from. Like I seriously can’t grasp it yet. The Hardys are easily 2 of the biggest wrestling legends of all time, that even non wrestling fans know them & to have that kind of Star power after so many years of having to just start from scratch & rebuild your own stars … is just amazing & I’m so glad I’ve been a TNA fan for so many years. The good brothers, TNA homegrown stars like EY, Taylor Wilde & Kazarian coming back were cool. Kenny Omega coming from AEW & the TNA crossover stuff was interesting for a bit. Tessa Blanchard making headlines for the wrong reasons was … something that happened. EC3’s Slammiversary return & brief return stint was exciting at first & disappointing with how it ended. The TNA anniversary bring Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, Gail Kim & Awesome Kong back was awesome. But this … this is just on a whole new level, I can’t stress enough how happy it has made me to see The Hardys back & on top too. Made all these years of ups & downs so much more worth it to me because it payed off.
@ That doesn’t change the fact that two GCW guys wrestled in a TNA ring without prior announcement immediately after PCO destroyed a title. It doesn’t explain Steph DeLander’s contract running out and then appearing on TNA not long after. PCO, Cardona and DeLander are massive GCW stars.
I hadn't watched a full episode of Impact in almost ten years before this show, but if this show is any indication of where they're headed, then it definitely won't be close to the last time. The matches were all decent to good, the same can be said for the promos, the announcing team did a nice job of getting everything over without going overboard and all in all, it just felt like there was a really positive feeling throughout the show that I saw very little of, the last time that I watched an episode of Dynamite, which was around a month or so ago. In my estimation, this was a solid 8/10 show and compared to when I gave up on TNA, like night and day to watch as a fan. As for Tessa, it'll probably take a while for the fans to forget what happened, but this is pro wrestling, so they will sooner or later. I mean, does anyone still remember today that Steve Austin and Debra got divorced, because he beat her up during their marriage? Something like that is much worse than what Tessa did and, in my opinion, they're doing the smart thing by having her address it head on as a part of her heel character.
This is the first time I have watched a FULL TNA episode since the broken universe era. And I have to say that it was quite enjoyable, and as you said, the production value and the talent looking presentable was very noticeable. I feel like the subtle "mud-show" vibes TNA has had for the past years has started to go away. It's good enough for me to give it a go next week.
Should add their live shows to your 'An Idiot watches' series alongside WWE and AEW. Good to see TNA pumping up the numbers. Actually looks like a credible contender for the number two spot
I’m just waiting for them to finally explain JBL’s actions. It feels like it’s been 7 decades of him running in, clotheslining someone & then walking off.
Masha being a face isn't that unusual nowadays. Ilja Dragunov has been a face for most of his WWE run even though he's Russian. It's a nice change of pace.
Didn't love seeing The Little Rascals use the MCMG signature tag spots in TNA while MCMG are in WWE using them and the companies having a cannon relationship.
They had matches together. Could just be a reference to their rivalry. MCMG’s first match back to TNA in years was against the rascals at Slammiversary 2020 when they then had a resurgence in their careers. If anyone’s gonna take their moves, then deservedly so it’s them
It hurts me to say this, Because I'm such a huge fan of AEW.. Or I was a huge fan of the vibe AEW had when in first came out. The energy last night was phenomenal I look forward to tuning in to more TNA when they're live.. they crushed it congrats to TNA
It's a drama it's fake storytelling, Like any TV show some seasons are really really good. And some seasons just suck a**. Some shows are better live and some shows are better pre-recorded. But if you're a true fan something you still watch. You can like another show better than the other, but that doesn't mean you want to see either get canceled. I'm sorry you're not a fan of AEW, But it's nothing to cry about. TNA did their job succeedingly well and they deserve to be acknowledged for that. And in another month when they film another live episode I'll tune in and I'll watch It again. Hopefully they keep this energy going. In the meantime I'll enjoy watching live wrestling more.
Tessa is going to carry TNA, People love to watch what they hate, hence why Trump is such a good thing for the media Lol. Its something for everyone to talk about and bitch about! I love that their crowds are bigger than some AEW crowds now too
Josh's contract ends in about a month, and he's talked about "exploring all opportunities." This might be a final angle to write him off, or maybe it'll be a Summer of Punk type thing that ends with him re-signing. I think the Northern Armory hasn't really been together long enough for the breakup to have that much impact, but if Josh really is wrapping it up, then they're right to pull the trigger on Sinner and Saint now.
I haven’t seen Genesis on TV yet but I was there live and it was top notch and the building was fucking packed. I did see Impact on Thursday and it was really well done in my view. I’m glad TNA is back and thriving.
They should have Cena challenge for Joe's TNA belt at WrestleMania and that's where a curveball is thrown and Cena wins the TNA title for his 17 title reign! What do you think?
Tessa hate needs to stop. Even if she said some racist shit years ago, isn't forgiveness an important thing? To anyone that disagrees, I guarantee we've all done bad/very bad things in the past, and it's worth imagining ourselves in her shoes. If she's truly sorry, we should give her another chance.
Problem is this: Blanchard has had numerous chances already, and has been a basket case everywhere she's been. It's a matter of when she's going to do something stupid again.
This right here. Plus, she may have made up with La Rosa Negra, but what about the dozens of other girls who have come out with horror stories about Tessa’s behavior and attitude, where’s their apology? Nowhere to be found
Different situations but if punk can come back from his issues in wwe and aew. I would say this is her last chance. Her best move is to stay off social media and stay trouble. Lots of people have been caught doing similar things or said similar things. Hell Austin beat up Debra. But he eventually seems to at least be respected by fans
@TheMegamyGamer which is why i said different situations. Also I don't believe she was actually fired for racism. She left tna over a money dispute. I don't know her history at other places. I know the incident with la Rosa Negra was in Japan. And the bullying accusations are from many companies. All was getting at was wife beaters, drug addiction, sexual assault. Lots of these issues didn't stop people from being featured. Granted that says more about the people in charge. At the end of the day, if she has grown from the past or not will be determined soon. If we start hearing more reports of bullying or slurs that will be it. And believe me with all the aew locker room troubles we hear about. I'm sure we will hear the same if she acts up in tna
I think the deal turns tna into more of an outside developmental system while also providing a bit of legitimacy to tna allowing them to rebuild their brand.
Maybe the angle they should have taken with Tessa is the Jeff Hardy "sorry I was on drugs on ppv" thing but then how do you transfer Grace's heat to her?
Look Tessa isnt gonna get back over soon so u may as well lean into it. She 100% has the talent to get the fans back on size she just now needs to prove she has the attatude to do so.
The Tessa section is honestly a great explanation on your part, I’m someone who believed that Tessa didn’t deserve a second chance but the way you explained it made a lot of sense and I can’t disagree with anything you said.
My only issue with it would be the focus on la rosa being the only victim when we know that not to be true. Apologising is great, but we cant pretend that one person forgiving her means all her victims have especially when a number of them are still quite vocal of the fact they do not like her and she has never apologised to rhem or even admitted she did something wrong
@AltamaLFG had her incidents been reported on she could potentially still be behind bars as we speak. I'm not perfect and neither is the guy you're replying to, but I can comfortably say I haven't done anything that could see me spend time behind bars
My biggest issue with the NXT partnership is how repetitive some of the feuds are I don't know how many TNA matches I can watch that end in a screwy finish where an NXT talent comes out (not a big star or anything) and set up a match for next week. I don't mind the young NXT wrestlers on the TNA show. They're usually a talented bunch but I want to see them used in different ways. It seems like TNA/NXT expect me to go "OMG it's Cora Jade!!! I've always dreamt of Cora Jade vs Masha!!!!!"
The thing with Tessa isn’t just the racism, a lot of former TNA female wrestlers called her a bully backstage and, to my knowledge, she has never apologized for it
Joe Hendry called out John Cena in an interview. It would be pretty insane if Cena works a TNA match as part of his retirement run.
Higher chance it happens on NXT tbh
@ryany6776 It's one of those situations where it would only happen if Cena wanted it to happen
Im happy to see JBL. I know the guy has issues, but his heel championship run is goated.
the best u will get is some NXT champ going there. TNA is just a place for WWE to send washed talent and not pay them
He wont. Hendry will be in WWE but cena will never to to tna.

Except she didn't
@@veryonlineman she did though, at least what was reported to have been said by Scott D'amore.
She chose not to come to work during the shut down so TNA/Scott asked her to send in promo videos and she refused. They fired her and she kept the world title hostage for ransom.
@staticJ7 nope. Learn the full story
RING KA KING should've done LIVE shows
I have to agree. It really feels like TNA has turned a corner. This was a great f'n episode. I know, I barely believe it also!
The negatives of the partnership will come if this show gets dominated by the wwe people. With the roster getting bloated, they might start sending some of their unused wrestlers to TNA. The problem would be when they start dominating the title picture
@@JohnnyJustice777they wont. Its nxt partnership. Not main roster. At best tna will got nxt guys
My only complain with TNA is they're usage of HAMMERSTONE just criminal
Hammerstone is injured though, although, where's Jake Something?
Yup he’s injured I spoke to him on insta the other day he’s back soon
Even when he wasn't injured he was losing to Eric Young on the pre shows
@@Markyd123 that's great! Hope he's doing well
@@Markyd123inside scoop! lol
You on crack?
I think you meant AEW. I don’t see how wwe can attack wwe (themselves).
& in my eyes TNA have always been #1 for me. Wwe is 2, AEW is 3 & njpw is maybe 4 but I don’t watch it that often.
@ Try reading it again
I'm beyond happy that Tessa is using the hate to fuel her heel character. I want her to go full blown dark side and be the best damn heel of 2025.
It’s in her blood after all! Tully was one of the best heels ever.
She wasn't raised by Tully though she was raised by Magnum TA
Can’t wait to see how TNA will look like at full sail university
Mature take Hawk. I believe in second chances too, brother.
10:50 This was an excellent summary of the Tessa Blanchard situation. Much better than last video, mate 👍👍👍👍
8:24 The Wild Welsh Roider Appeared.
Marky, You miss him isn't it 😆
Wild that TNA is WWE's 4th show
It's a partnership, just like the AEW one
@@Lance-wn9dc not even close. All AEW did was send a few wrestlers to TNA. This is a whole new level of partnership
It’s not…

Tessa going full heel is the best way forward. Her coming out and apolagizing would be lame as fuck and people wouldn't buy it anyway.
There is no way you can save her. I think TNA did it for the controversy. She will disappear and we will move on in a few weeks
@@xddddddddddd4646 being punished for 5 years is plenty. She will be fine after people get used to her being around.
It’s either a love triangle or more likely Mance and Cardona were wrestling on a TNA show to help diffuse the situation
They’ve been teasing the 23 thing for weeks now tho
@
That doesn’t change the fact that two GCW guys wrestled in a TNA ring without prior announcement immediately after PCO destroyed a title. It doesn’t explain Steph DeLander’s contract running out and then appearing on TNA not long after.
PCO, Cardona and DeLander are massive GCW stars.
Hendry is definitely super smart for toning down his accent for the american audience. Ospreay should take notes.
That just seems all kinds of offensive. Do better
I swear next time I’m at a TNA show and Josh Alexander happens to stay ima have a sign that says Perc Alexander that is gold! 😂
TNA is reemerging and AEW is having some difficulty. Interesting times. I do want both to be successful.
The more successful everyone is, the better for the whole business. Tides/boats and all that 🤙
And WWE is selling a WrestleMania number of tickets for a non WrestleMania event
I’m just waiting for them to finally explain JBL’s actions. It feels like it’s been 7 decades of him running in, clotheslining someone & then walking off.
Was there live and it was awesome. Hopefully they come back to San Antonio soon
If anyone’s gonna take their moves, then deservedly so it’s them
I was there! It was a fun time. The tapings for the next string of shows were MISERABLE to sit through.
Feeling pretty stoked for MarkyD, I hope you enjoy TNA again. Or at least some of it.
😄👍
It hurts me to say this, Because I'm such a huge fan of AEW.. Or I was a huge fan of the vibe AEW had when in first came out. The energy last night was phenomenal I look forward to tuning in to more TNA when they're live.. they crushed it congrats to TNA
It hurts you to say that another wrestling show had good energy? Yeah, you're certainly an AEW crybaby.
This show was hotter than an angry Suri Polomare.
Tessa is going to carry TNA, People love to watch what they hate, hence why Trump is such a good thing for the media Lol. Its something for everyone to talk about and bitch about! I love that their crowds are bigger than some AEW crowds now too
Truer words have never been spoken.
13:01 Is Tessa going bald? As a bald guy myself, that's an AWFUL lot of scalp showing.
Some people just have thinning hair
Pretty standard parting
One Punch Girl : Tessaitama
That’s what roids do
Chavo's horse was called Pepe.
At this point I wouldn't be shocked if TNA brought back Elgin.
OH HELL NAW 💀
I haven’t seen Genesis on TV yet but I was there live and it was top notch and the building was fucking packed. I did see Impact on Thursday and it was really well done in my view. I’m glad TNA is back and thriving.
Cooler heads always prevail - going full heel with Tessa is the only logical play, seeing her finally should generate good business
They should have Cena challenge for Joe's TNA belt at WrestleMania and that's where a curveball is thrown and Cena wins the TNA title for his 17 title reign!
What do you think?
Long live the Hawk
SHUV IT SQUAD 4 LIFE !!!
Tna has been great lately.
I don't watch much anymore but. I thought Matt & Jeff was still with AEW. Dayum. I still remember when the whole Broken thing blew up
They seems to appeared in every wrestling promotion like Wild Slapnuts love to do 😄
Arianna Grace makes sense as the NXT/TNA liaison.
Also she’s Santino’s daughter apparently
It's so weird watching TNA episode highlights. Then boom, this review, which is longer than what I actually watched lol
Markyd123 should be hired by TNA this dude made me resub to TNA and have been enjoying it.
Tna is back baby
Imagine they set up cena vs hendry just for cena to win his 17th “world title “ lmao
If they let a pdf file back to train teenagers then they give anyone a second chance.
Na.
She didn't just make an off-hand joke she spit on people.
People just need to stop being fairies
Bullying? Racism? Nah
Your reaction to Masha being a face was mine with Ilya Dragonuv but it works.
@@Wh1t3F4c3Chelsea Green is known as one of the sweetest women backstage. I want to see the apology she deserves
@@adamandannapunk was not fired over racism. Bad comparison here.
Tessa apologized and she accepted so she's cool remember what Shawn was like
I think the deal turns tna into more of an outside developmental system while also providing a bit of legitimacy to tna allowing them to rebuild their brand.
A bit like ECW was in the 90s
Maybe the angle they should have taken with Tessa is the Jeff Hardy "sorry I was on drugs on ppv" thing but then how do you transfer Grace's heat to her?
I haven't even been watching TNA and I still Believe in Joe Hendry. It's just so catchy.
Never seen a single match of his yet.
And I still believe.
Maybe Jeff is going to get an X division title shot at some point
3:27 no, there aren’t any other knockouts tag teams unfortunately. They desperately need new ones & soon
Look Tessa isnt gonna get back over soon so u may as well lean into it. She 100% has the talent to get the fans back on size she just now needs to prove she has the attatude to do so.
Ol' Mancer is awesome 🤘
Chavo horse was named Peppie
Pepe
Hope Hendry and Cardona have a program together. The OG internet champ vs the new.
The Tessa section is honestly a great explanation on your part, I’m someone who believed that Tessa didn’t deserve a second chance but the way you explained it made a lot of sense and I can’t disagree with anything you said.
Yeah, appreciate you doing that.
What did she do to earn a second chance?
@TimTE01 I'm sure you're perfect too. She didn't kill or molest anyone. Jesus Christ yall act like she is Pol Pot or something.
@AltamaLFG had her incidents been reported on she could potentially still be behind bars as we speak. I'm not perfect and neither is the guy you're replying to, but I can comfortably say I haven't done anything that could see me spend time behind bars
My biggest issue with the NXT partnership is how repetitive some of the feuds are
I don't know how many TNA matches I can watch that end in a screwy finish where an NXT talent comes out (not a big star or anything) and set up a match for next week.
Hendry is saving this franchise single-handedly. How incredible would bite if they overtook AEW.
Hendry is just one person. The Hardys are tna’s biggest know stars
I’m actually happy that Tessa is back
TNA doing well, makes me glad as a TNA fan, but also, I know MarkyD is enjoying it too, which is always great to see.
I was at that tna
Love when you review ANT.
Meh TNA
Best time to be a wrestling fan since the Attitude era. WWE, AEW and even TNA are firing on all cylinders.
TNA got some light beers and lariat now I see 😂 love ole Mancer. KNEEEEEE PAD UP
The thing with Tessa isn’t just the racism, a lot of former TNA female wrestlers called her a bully backstage and, to my knowledge, she has never apologized for it
No she has not
WWE is in a partnership with TNA but still won’t acknowledge that both of MCMG are former world champions, instead Maggle Cole calls them kids 😒
