This stock exchange should have their target markets as North East & Businesses (specially SMEs) from the states of West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Chattisgarh & Andhra who are looking to raise funds through IPOs.
Calcutta Stock Exchange will give rise to many firms in this region looking to replicate something similar in Private Equity Markets before these firms actually get listed. So revival of CSE could potentially have multiple socio-economic benefits for the entire Eastern region of India.

To all people criticzing Kolkata and Bengal stop doing it. West Bengal is a part of Bharat even though it has gone down in recent years. Its not even in top 10 major economic hubs of Bharat. But look change can come. When UP can become a faster and progressive state so can West Bengal. Even if Mamta di is their in power if both Mamta di and Modi ji work together kolkata can still make a comeback.
