Yeah getting new players is one of sieges problems as of right now considering how difficult it is to learn, it's also extremely hard to teach since it's one of those games that once you learn it, you completely forget how you used to play.
Learning how to properly play siege is like going to college all over again for me tbh.
Siege is a game I come back to occasionally, half hazardly lean it only to not play it again for a year and then come back to it being completely rebalanced again
My friend gifted me sieges on steam for my birthday and I can 100% say it is hard asf to learn, that was around March and now Im decent and have a below average understanding of the game but I know the basic concepts for most things.
Also the community is pure cancer and will shit on you throughout the entire learning process for not knowing everything
I tried it again few months ago after years. The ui is just so bad and Ubisoft doesn’t make it easy to log into. I was playing with a friend and when we managed to get in the first game we got into we played for like a few seconds then just said “yea let’s go back to valo”
As a person whose favourite game is Left 4 Dead 2, I love seeing people from other communities that have played it in the past, still enjoying it. Before Valorant, I was playing a heck ton of Left 4 Dead 2 with my uncle. Still miss those times.

The only bad part of l4d2 is how toxic veterans are to new players. Because so many people have been playing it for years, whenever someone just starting comes in and messes up, they're so quick to flame and kick. Especially in Versus. If you ever meet a new player, warn them to stay away from Versus.
tbh I have never been toxic, I just play the game. but yeah that is happening a lot.
Tf2 just brought back so much nostalgia i remember getting the red sumbrero a very rare hat but child me painted it brown for some reason i remember having so much fun with it also my most played class was sniper

Splitgate fell off because: devs got rid of choosing your game mode (always a bad choice) and the made Comp the only way to just play TDM, then they reset the beta cosmetics if I remember correctly and made the cosmetic system trash, and then didn’t add any content, on top of that I would say poor balancing, I have a clip of me coming into a CTF game a minute after it starts and capturing the flag 3 times in under a minute and winning the game, it’s so stupid how easy it is to just beam people with the default weapons and use your portals to completely break the game.

BFBC2 is damn goated. Good campaign with hilarious characters, MP is unbalanced but the maps are almost best in the series and still super fun in general, plus has an amazing DLC that's basically its own separate game
Fun fact: Doom is so important to gaming history that the FPS released after doom were called doom clones before the term FPS was invented

Apex player and val player here. both games really fueled my ever so growing rage that I've pent up inside but I play them because of the equal amount of fun I get too. Never played tf2 but the sheer passion of it's community makes me feel like it's surely an S+ game (talking about Titanfall)
Titanfall 2 is like Apex but with much better movement and the glorious reality of not being a battle royale

Siege is really fun once you get good at it, the problem is that it took me like 50 hours to understand everything, and i still don't know the maps at 102 hours

eggwick is genuinely a fun youtuber to watch, these days i struggle finding actually decently well edited fun people to watch but eggiwck i have seen your channel grow recently and with how consistently you post, i see you becoming big.

Damn you're missing out on Killing Floor 2. The game is honestly amazing.
It's a class-based wave-survival PvE. Different weapon specialties per class like firebug uses incinerary weapons and berserker has melee or sawblade launchers.
Kill enemies, survive the wave, buy better guns. Boss at the end of every game.
There's about 90 weapons across the 9 perks with a large variety of types. Like a double-barrel that fires explosive buckshot everywhere or a flaregun that leaves a trail of flames under it as it flies. There's even a remote detonating harpoon launcher that can pin corpses to walls (one of my favorite weapons).
it is, used to and still have a group that plays many different games, so far the games have been l4d2, SoT, Terraria, KF2, DRG and I think some others, but KF2 and L4D2 were the most fun games I played in the group.

Yeah probably the BEST zombie shooter. Best part is that you can choose to play solo as well. Definitely better than cod zombies. I actually played KF 2, idk about the first one.
@@rup9372 Killing Floor 1 is very dated by now without shooter staples like running and flashlights are only on your starter pistol. It was great back in the day but Killing floor 2 eclipsed it in every way now.
The problem with rainbow 6 is

You fight for map controll
Each side let it be defence or attack
Out of 5 you have different roles
Like 2 players play as support
In attack job of the support players is to get the main wall open and get the bomb planted
On defense job of the 2 support players is to make site setup with shotguns and deny the main wall and the plant
So for example on attack you play as thermite who is a hard breach who can breach hard walls (there are 2 types of walls in the map hard walls and soft walls, soft walls can be reinforced by defenders) on defense you can play as bandit who has car batteries to attach them to the walls and keep the wall standing
2 Romers on defence play off of each others and waste time for attackers, in attack support players use thir drones to feed live info and clear rooms with a entry fragger behind, job of the entry is to get the map controll neede so the bomb can be planted safely by your support players, all attack players get 2 drones standard, except twich she gets 1 as she has 2 more shock drones in her pocket
And in both defence and attack there is a flex player who you know adapts and takes wildcards like flank watch ops or like an electronic detector like IQ to find hidden traps and cams in attack (you do flank watch by using a drone on which your dead teamates can watch) on defense a flex can be like pulse, an intel op or like valk or echo
As the situation calls for it,
R6 goes for sale a lot, get the operator editon on epic games with 10usd cupon it has all operators you need so you dont have to grind it all or atleast get the deluxe edition on steam

yeah and that is only the macro aspect of the game. in the smaller perspective, this game is utility simulator and shit load amount of bullshit (punch hole, cross-floor angle, spawnpeak). I peaked plat in Siege and playing the game "traditionally" is somewhat understandable but there are lots of occasions where that one player behind shield/anchoring on a site didn't get flushed ended up pinching you with their flanks. honestly, playing attacker is the most stressful in Siege compared to other FPS.
Let's not forget the verticality aspect because low elo players can't plant in consulate's garage for shit cause they don't take control of piano.
The game is honestly fun if you put in the time to learn but you gotta deal with so much bullshit and it's not fun.
Krunker should have its own tier. It's amazing

Splitgates main issue is its main feature... the portals. Also, it needs more maps and an incentive to play. Unfortunately most games won't last these days without a BR mode or something similar.
Ya, splitgate is so much fast paced. Plus portals are so confusing, your mind has to be very active to pay attention to those. Its not even playable. GARBAGE.
The thing with siege is that it’s very complicated for new players. There’s just so much to do and so much not to do,it confuses new players. Also the community isn’t welcoming to new players which makes it even more difficult for new players
Tarkov is the reason I am working to buy and get everything for setup so I can play that, game is perfect!

I didn't like csgo ai so I modified it through the bot profiles but I really like the ai for tf2 so I just play that. I also every now and then play community servers. But yeah the bot problem sucks
I actually had way more fun with splitgate than halo infinite. And to this day, if the homies and me wanna play some arena shooter, we gravitate towards splitgate customs.
The problem with reach is that you have way less options for gamemodes and you can't make customs (at least on release).

It feels unfair tanking paladins as a shooter when so much of the game is decided by strategy and positioning, due to the massive health pools, Cauterize mechanic, the fact that Healers and Tanks are so powerful, and the card/talent system adding so much versatility to agents that can’t be changed midgame. If you play for shots that sound and feel satisfying, it’s not a game for you. If you play for bigbrain, it’s paradise. A good time now that we’ve past the ob64 era!

This is actually super valid, and I’m so happy titanfall is in goated bc if the servers ever fix or they make a titanfall 3, it will be the best fps imo by far. Plus the story is awesome and underrated
ive played overwatch for so long, i would say that right now it is pretty bad, but i do think ow 2 will save it if they actually plan to balance more and update the game bc we just havent gotten any content in so long

i am so happy that half-life was put on a for awesome, because it isn't goated since there are times where it can be buggy and times where its age shows. But it's still an awesome game because of how much it changed the gaming industry. If half-life 2 was put on this list, I would say it immediately goes to goated because of, once again, its impact on the gaming industry, and also it still is very fun to play, and it is very hard to find a game-breaking glitch unless your game files are corrupted or something like that. Thanks for making this video because it was very interesting to watch and I liked to see what you had to say about some of the games. Keep the good work up!

With the updates BF2042 has gotten so much better it was unplayable for a long time and got sooo much better

Think of r6 like a game of rock paper scissors. Everyone interacts with everyone in some way. You have to learn absolutely all of it. Then you have to learn 3 site setups for every map. Then learn how to attack every setup and every site. Then add the semi challenging gunplay, and 1 shot headshots and it is easily the hardest fps game to get into.
I love you just for having Titanfall 2.

i think phantom forces (a roblox game) is one of the best shooters i've played (r6, overwatch, valorant, fortnite for like an hour, cs) so i think phantom forces should be on its own

I don't think your bias is showing for Quake. The option in the tier list is probably for the entire franchise and Q3 is considered by many to be the pinnacle of FPS games that's yet to be reached - and this is a take that's not only held by rose-tinted veterans, the game withstands under pretty much every piece of scrutiny even now, which means that its design stands the test of time for two decades, where we saw entire genres live and die and existing genres evolve and change, as well as new approaches that were possible due to hardware progress etc.
For a video game (and for an FPS especially, as the genre depends a lot on smoothness and other factors that are kinda era-dependent), this is kinda bonkers, bonus points for it being a competitive game. It's one of the rare games from the list that basically has no major flaws, either in its design or in gameplay, it can pretty much be your cup of tea or not, but as a piece, it stands on its own - AND we don't even have to contextualize it, ie to score it given the year it came out.
We can score it with all the new titles in mind, with no restrictions. Rarely has there been a game that was so rock solid and stands the test of time (and perhaps it will never be dethroned either, which is INSANE, as we're talking about a medium that constantly evolves, so it's not like Beethoven never getting "powercrept", games are usually tied to the progress of the medium). MAYBE Brood War or certain fighting games, but that's about it.
Honestly wish apex has as good of a anti cheat as valorant. I’ve seen a cheater 1/8 of the matches I’ve played in apex while I’ve only seen 3 cheaters in all of my valorant games
I was a HUGE overwatch fan, but it does in D tier only because console lobbies are empty, like wait in queue for for than 12 hours empty.
