Timmy didn't have to go through ascendant, he also never actually made it to radiant but his ended 12 hours sooner, I think this guy finished it faster than Timmy would've if he actually made it to radiant and played ascendant, then again, Timmy also did it all at once where this guy did it across 10 days
timmys feat was def more impressive, asc wouldve only been a small time factor not a difficulty factor, also the fact he was pushing thru immortal and radiant lobbies on no sleep for days? bro it takes effort to even stay awake if u stay awake for a whole day, he was playing a fps game that requires fast reflexes and brain power on no sleep for days.

In my experience, getting out of the lower ranks is hell for all the reasons you pointed out. No comms, afk players, not trading, etc. It's difficult for higher skilled players who would be average plat/diamond to actually get to those ranks because of it. I once dropped a 30 bomb and we still lost! And I was Viper!! There's only so much one player can do without a good team to back them up.
I dropped 38 on Sage and lost once… I aced twice that game
I dropped 42 kills on ascendant immo lobby and lost on 12 14 lol.
I think since ascendant got added there's a lot of bad players.
I'm immo 3 on my main but i varely play. I think i can hit radiant but i don't wanna stress jsut for rank
Shit happens all the way to immortal tho, the amount of times I’ve dropped 28 kills and 15+ assists on support and still lost is criminal. Some games just aren’t winnable on any rank, my advice just keep focusing on crosshair placement and peeking with intent to kill and you’ll rank up as you improve

I dropped 31 last week and we lost and once I nearly aced 5 times in a row (4 kills +dmg and then died) and we still lost...
I'm iron and those two players on the enemy team were afk and just put something on their w key so that they wouldn't despawn and get a penalty. Happens all the time.

No they were bots. I was iron and five stacked and the whole enemy were bots. They ran into walls, had random letters as their names and also went through mid every single time.

Someone got mad on my team after I did pretty shit for the first few rounds since I chose Reyna. Did well later on and decided to shit talk him as well afterwards he did the same just +w to not despawn in the game.

valorant is far from dying, queue in any mode at a rank lower then like immortal and youll get in a match probably within 30 seconds, thats not dying. they arent bots, they are real players based off the fact they got 1 kill, they just got destroyed, probably saw the smurf acing and just going insane and gave up just putting something on the w key. smurfing is an issue but the main problem in low ranks is people playing ranked who shouldnt, they arent trying to play smart, outthink people, actually try to win no matter what, and sometimes they arent even warmed up and just whiff every shot throwing cuz they wanted to play ranked instead of unrated. in a ranked game their is literally no excuse to have less then a .5kd if your not getting atleast a kill every other round why are you queued.
As much as I find the clips cool smurfing is too prevalent in the community and we need to try and hope riot can do something

When I was playing in iron lobbies with my iron friend, we often ran into people who told us at the beginning of the first round that they would not be paying attention to the game and will be holding the W key down. Some reasons were that a friend was on the other team and they were trying to rank them up or just wanted to be lame

a lot of people are just trying to get out of iron or bronze and they see root on the opponent side , i just feel bad for them
The games get a lot harder the more matches you start to win, not because of the rank you move up to, but Riot has a built in Elo system, and if they determine that you are smurfing on an account, they will start putting your account in a lobby with other smurf accounts. So you are actually going up against Ascendant/Immortal players sometimes when you are actually in Gold and Plat. So naturally, you are going to lose some games in lower ranks where you think you really shouldn't lose, because you are also going up against other players smurfing too.
This is 100% true. On my smurf I regularly smack talk and the enemy team carry will start flexing at me they are ascendant while everyone in the lobbies visable rank is gold. while the smack talks pursues they always send me their mains showing they immortal or ascendant. It really is a problem these players including myself have multiple accounts in gold with much higher MMR
People think I'm smurfing cause I get lots of 35+ kill games I got match mvp in half of my games but still dropped from plat 2 to silver 2 in one day and when I play on my actual smurf that barely has an elo I don't even have to play to win in the same elo

pretty sure i was in a game with them in bronze-silver lobbies :I its the smurfing that gets this kinda attention that makes people think its also okay for them to do it and then people in low elos get deranked or set back days of work just so someone else can get their "record time" i was on a 10 game win streak and then magically got in a game with them and then got 8 games where i lost.

@@xraven8443 you sure your frags are impactful enough? If theres a higher rank, are you trying to analyze their playstyle? So for example, if they hardpush everytime, are you going in ratty corners, playing crossfires and not play aim angles against them?

I remember playing on an iron 1 account way back in episode 1 and it took forever to get out of it. I won 6 games in a row all match mvp and finally got out of iron 1, later on it took like 2-3 games to rank up with some double rank ups.
its cool if you watch them do this challenge but from the opposit eteam especially for low ranks its hell, people like me stuck in iron-bronze have a hard time ascending because of the bad players and the smurfs
130+ games in 72h is just insane, that's like 30min/game, I think there are multiple ffs in low rank that's how he can do it

You even get bots like that in silver and bronze, they buy a gun then walk into the wall so they don't get afk'd. Seems to have gotten better but I remember having that occur every other game at one point either on my team or the enemies team. Once you get to silver at least in my experience the rate at which you see bots changes quite a bit for the better although it does occur every now and then.

What this guy is saying I’ve never seen once, I’ve never heard someone talk about once, so I think it’s safe to assume that he lied about the gun buying part so he doesn’t get the response that everyone else calling these afks bots does, being that they just have something on w key.
I don’t usually see them in silver+ but they definitely in iron/bronze. There are many different types of bots. One is the W key one, another is the one that randomly fires classic and jumps every few seconds, another buys a shotgun every round (usually judge) and then randomly w keys and turns until an enemy is in their sight and they lock onto them, so they get around 1-2 kills cuz they only detect enemies in line of sight

From my recollection smurf queue is mostly pre 30 in normals, it watches how you walk, time spent ins tore all these other random factors and then puts you in there so try and help genuine new players initial experience. Which I wish would exist in Valo tbh, I just tried valorant for the first time recent, did the tutorial and my first game was like me and 2 others low level everyone else was gold or higher and level 300+. Was really confusing.

Then grinded through silver to silver 2 then had a double rankuup to G2
Then got hardstuck G2
Then grinded to p1
Popped off
And got promoted to p3
Then grinded through daimond
Then ascendant 2 now

I was playing with plays/diamonds in S3, I had a 70% win rate and I was loosing 10 rRNA per loss and gaining 25ish pretty consistently even if I didn’t top frag. Eventually settled at plat 1, seems to be matching with people of my own skill level now.
It's crazy how Giansanity did the same thing with the same amount of games with 107 wins 32 losses from Iron to Radiant.

As an iron player, I find bots in my games often. Here are signs of bots.
1: random letters as name
2: instalock starting characters
3: usually buy judge
4: around 150 ping

Usually judge is played by trolls, long strings happen at random, instalocked character is mostly Reyna or Viper, but are they actually bots?

I actually had this thing with higher rank placing when i went skyrocket from gold 2 all the way to diamond with 2 double rank ups. my second game in diamond was against an immo player. that sucked)
my mmr back in s4 if i wasnt mistaken, was plat/imo in unrated. i would get matched up with higher ranked people despite my rank being b2 at the time. whenever my teammates asked me what my rank was, they'd get shocked when i told them plus i wasnt playing comp that much
Theres a HUGE difference between high radiant and high immo. A couple days ago, I got into a radiant lobby, and the enemy top 50 radiant fucked my team 4-13 like it was nothing. My team also had a couple previous radiants, with my brim having peaked top 170 this season. I genuinely felt a huge gap in skill between me and that guy, and now I pray that I won't meet radiants before I play every game.

Hi Eggwick, if you want to run into real bots then play three deathmatches and get 0 kills in all of them. The game will place you in a full bot lobby. It will be hilarious. They will w key and shoot when they see you.
11:02 had this problem before the mmr reset, never really played comp besides my 5 ranked matches so my only timed rank was in episode 1 where I was plat 1. Though because of unrated im assuming my hidden mmr was in high diamond/ immortal. So everytime I tried to queue comp I was the only plat in immo lobbies. The games were even but I wasnt able to climb easily because I was playing in my elo even though my rank wasnt even close. I did get more rr than I lost for a win Id about get 23-29RR and for a loss about -12-19rr. So yes you climb but its alot slower than compared just being put into plat lobbies and stomping for a few games. This is why Im assuming they are making smurf queues, so that people who genuinely just not fit for the rank and smurfs dont get the same treatment.
The MMR on my main account got me hardstuck in iron 1 facing against smurfs from plat and sometimes diamond (gun buddies)

people doing these type of things is very terrible for the rr though, having alt accounts in the ranks messes around with everyone. I now have a way higher ranked player in my games all the time. (people love smurfing cause all the popular people are doing it)

The people staring at walls is super common, there are big Chinese and Indian companies that farm accounts by using macros. Players with random letter/number names just spawn in iron games and walk towards the wall. They companies then sell the accounts to anyone who just wants an Iron account.

When I was in iron 3, I went afk for a long time and then my brother sneaked in and played the game and he never played Valorant or any shooter game before so the enemy team thought Valorant added bots lol

11:20 When you said the stuff about mmr, when I was silver I used be put against plats and since I played alone, if my team wasn't playing good, I would lose the game, lose more RR than I would gain which meant my visible rank which I actually care about was stuck at silver.
Wouldn't it be better if the game marked you as a high ranking player and instead of putting you against much harder enemies promote you to a rank you actually belong to?
Like I could easily play against gold 2-3, but when there was plats in the enemy and my teammates weren't talking or being helpful it become much more diffficult to win.
I got stuck in silver for a loooong time just for this reason. I had to team up with friends to get out of silver.

So we knew there was an insanely high ranked smurfing breach on the enemy team, we worked together to devise a plan and we killed the breach and somehow lost the game due to teamwork. Ever since i started watching your videos and your guides on how to get out of low ranks i have gotten better (ofc far stretch from saying good) and teams have started listening and we split our team and i usually double stack.

I'm in diamond and players doing these types of challenges is a serious detriment to the lobbies.
Every couple games there's an unranked player going 40 and 2.
RR down the drain for no reason and its hard enough facing the real diamonds.
U put something on your w key to keep moving forward and that makes it so that u don’t despon and don’t get a warning that’s why they just stair at the wall

There are people in iron, that just put something heavy on their W-Key and then go afk, the game recognizes an input in that case the W-Key and doesn’t kick them.
Sometimes they also to it because they have to go AFK for 2-3 rounds and don’t want to get kicked and AFK offended by the default system.
Tenz should try and do this challange I bet he could do it under 50 hours since there are placement matches now

1:56 ive played with people that were afk the whole game sitting in the spawn and were sitting there slightly moving their head from time to time so they were afk and we didint even get more money or anything because technically they were still in the game
I’ve had a teammate stare at the wall in that exact same spot on icebox. They’re throwing but they have a macro set up to move forward and shoot every once in a while to not get kicked

Imo the most impactful agent when everybody is around the same level would be Astra, you can cover up every role in the game with her util, you can defend, you can attack, you can smoke, almost everything can be done with a good astra
astra is vulnerable any time you want to use her abilities so she is a high risk agent that can grant high rewards but only if youre fast enough with her abilities and somewhere safe when you use them, i know any agent can get caught in using an abilitiy animation but astra is the most vulnerable
