As a Neon main myself, I've found that Neon mains are either the most toxic, easily tilted players imaginable, or the chilliest, most positive teammate. Absolutely 0 middle ground.

Im a sova main. In a replication game, we got Sova and including me there were 2 more sova mains. It was amazing. We taught each other lineups, gave tips and so fuxking wholesome.

The Sova mains I've met in game have instalocked on my team and have been better than me (also hella chill) or on the other team and absolutely fucks up our team.

Sova is like the chillest character with the chillest players, I've not made one bad experience. I'd say he's the best team mate you can have, while Sages can really make you lose a game
As a chamber main, we deserve to be there, but in my defense lately there has been an explosion of awful instalock chambers that can't hit shots and have the most awful setups possible sooooo
Its painful seeing an obvious duelist player pick chamber and only use his guns and never set up and then they question why we get flanked everyround or question why we cant defend after they miss all their shots and religiously refuse to set up tp

I’ve come across a player who I’ve played with a few times on randoms. They always picked Sage, and they were wholesome.
My latest game has us losing against another Sage with an Odin. Everyone was feeling down, so I felt like doing something good. I would tell them that they did their best, and I appreciate them, and that we can win. We made plans and commed the shit out of our game. I’d go “watching heaven again, do your thing”, and we’d work our best.
It was a nice game.
Ended up winning 13-10.

as a Viper and Sage main, this is sooo accurate actually, i personally think that most duelist mains are the most toxic ones, especially in low elo. they instalocks as always, they won't entry, and they mad when you're not clutching but they're always died early.

For me, I hate playing duelists sometimes(even though I'm a duelist main) because there's always idiots that are standing behind me backseating and just screaming "entry entry". Like lurking reyna/jett give us bad rep but you gotta understand our side(the reasonable duelist mains) as well. We get teams that don't support us, or let us go at our own pace. I could be walking trying to get a pick before bursting out, but there's an elephant behind me stomping around and his comms are "GO GO ENTRY JETT" in a situation where it's super hard for me to entry. Duelist mains have their own issues as well...

i personally think that the duelist need to knows their place and role especially when attacking. especially when they're also an instalocker duelist.
like... they can't forced a Sage to entry a site. especially if it's a four duelist and one Sage kind of team (something that usually happened to me). lol sorry for a lot of "especially".

I had a sgae where everytime we asked for a heal would be like IM IN A GUNFIGHT even if he wasnt and then would go charge into the enemies and die

It’s in my nature to communicate. I’m a strategist, and so every smoke set up I have has a way to play around it, so I often have to talk a lot to see my set played correctly, which makes me a heavy backseat driver. Now, when my team is a majority of people who do not want to take the game so seriously, or my barking orders (out of good intentions) annoys them, I can make some passive aggressive remarks, which can progress to some passive aggressive remarks that are clearly aggressive packaged in a passive frame, in which case I’m seen as fully toxic. I know a lot of unranked matched my teammates que the surrender vote, because they can’t stand me, and that makes me want to make them stay, which is petty, but less petty than they are being when they purposely play away from my smokes, making my set play useless, and if we win the round in a good manner, no problem, but if they die cause they wanted to run in the open in front of non smoked angles, I will be pissed. Basically I play better with people who understand the game, and so when I detect new players, I will be nice to them, after I passively aggressively ask or point out that they may be brand new, in which case if they are, I’m being toxic, so I make up for it with altering my expectations for the game, being patient with them, and trying to teach them if I can 😂. Most of my problems stem from playing unrated, because I want to do all my experiments there before calibrating, so I get a accused of being a toxic tryhard, but if they are right in their accusations, I will apologize.
From my experience, chamber mates are fine until we start losing : They always start saying we push too much/let the ennemies entry or just do nothing. Kay/O mates are around the same but a bit less toxic
as a cypher main… you’re kinda right. i don’t do it intentionally though. also, i love playing against other cypher mains cause i reverse engineer their setups. luckily i haven’t faced any with one ways yet.

Im a cypher main and I can agree since cypher is more of a reading character like you just gotta know how the enemy play but you also need your team to let you have site by yourself and then call apon them when needed since 1 ways can stall so much time
I play cypher a lot but for set up i just put where i thought enemy like to go well some bad luck hit me i encounter a cypher once that has so many one way and the camera is super hidden
there are 2 types of sage mains
the supportive one who heals and walls entrances
the battle sage who makes the weirdest fucking walls that works somehow
then theres me who forgets to heal someone half of the time and has no idea how to place walls properly

I love sage mains they are my favorite teammates even if they battlesage. I can be biased though because I play Reyna and don’t need heals as long as I get kills.

As a Sova main I often go with his chracter, even when someone is bad at playing or screws something up. Tell them it's ok and that they should have fun, and that it was a good oportunity to learn something

As a yoru main, I can safely say that his play style needs top tier game sense, way more than other agents if you want to be good. This means that when I’m spectating, I turn into the biggest backseat driver ever, because I can tell where the other team are and end up confusing my team with all the callouts.
Kinda same with my omen situation here lol, you kinda need good game sense to know when to peek out from smoke, how to not get into crossfires and how to confuse the shit out of your opponents with timings.
As a reyna main, I completely agree man, it's so hard to not instalock because you know there's a 90% chance someone else is gonna do it lmao
As an Omen main, you’re right. When I play him I try to hype everyone up and when he gets taken away from me they are always super nice or at least gives good comms. For some reason when I do play Jett cause I’m also a Jett main something clicks inside me that makes me a little more toxic.

For Phoenix, there’s 3 types that I’ve ever encountered:
The screaming 10 year old,
the toxic as shit and weird one,
and my absolute favourite that I surprisingly get often is the funny chill and top fragging Phoenix that we all wish to be. They make my day honestly and I end up friending them and have fun. One even gave me tips for playing Cypher for the first time and they were genuinely good tips!
This is surprisingly accurate. My best friend is Phoenix main, I can confirm he falls somewhere in between the last two.

Phoenix mains have mollyed me several times. This was one of earliest experiences in this game like second or third game. Locked in a corner mollyed and walked by a Phoenix. Definitely belongs at the top

I hate that you're right about cypher (I should know, I'm guilty of this too). But it's not our fault, we were forced into it because most people leave us to the lurkers while we're watching our cams/minimap, and we try to tell them the info we get but it ends up as backseating bc of how we try to help them know where they are (bc most ppl don't really care about our callouts and we end up repeating ourselves)
Not just the callous they don't care for all utilities the peak places where the cam is and push players when they don't have to because of the wire

Brimstone main here, I laughed a lot when you put it in the not toxic, doesn't comms category because that's literally the bullseye for me. Like all we actually do is just do our job and smoke an area, throw down our stim, and most likely die in the aftermath because the stim beacon just triggers our ooga booga and the primal urge to charge in.
I disagree though on how the role we play as smokers is boring, the amount of kills I've gotten by either; hiding inside an omen/brim smoke with a shotgun or suddenly appearing in the enemy base undetected with the smokes are a testament towards it.

I'm autistic. Idk if it's something with me, but I either have a really positive effect on people, or a really negative effect. It depends on the person really. I don't try to be toxic, but if I'm top fragging and the bottom fragger is calling me 'lucky', 'trash' and telling me they're just stealing their kills, I get mad, obviously. I'm also a reyna main :)

As a chamber main, I’m usually either passive aggressive, or a good teammate. I never trash talk people, no matter how bad they are. I do trash talk if others do it first though.

It all depends on the person, really. You have non-aggressive duelists, aggressive sentinels, then those passive-aggressive initiators once it comes down to player personality in games.
As a chamber main myself, I would say that we chamber mains are usually good teammates unless provoked, and trust me, you don't want to provoke someone who has a pocket operator down his sleeve

Becuz there will always be 1 Korean Jett who doesn't talk at all in the game but can ace a few times in a row

As a viper main, I only comm when I feel like it or if I'm stacked (slight personal reasons but also because I don't usually have to). I wall, I plant, I play lineups because I don't trust my teammates to not die
most of my experiences with viper players (low elo) is them placing a wall that basically forces us to give up site, doing it every round and refusing to listen.
As a viper main I like to use the wall to prevent the enemy team from rushing us in a or b site

@@Vit-Pokorny that's because most low elo vipers are kind of trash, I would know because I'm low elo and everything I see a viper they piss me off with their wall placements and don't listen when I try to help them. Sometimes I meet a good viper though... on the enemy team

As a skye main im offended. And for the record its because skyes are definetly backseat gamers. I could never play skye without working with my team which usually equates to me just telling people what to do and absolutely no one listens.
As a KJ main that is now a jett main, my teammates are always confused why I’m not flaming them.
As a Raze main, I know it's annoying getting killed by us. But it takes a lot of time to learn the agent. I had to practice for several months before I could properly perform the Flights ult and to learn satchel mechanics. Going through this training process made me less toxic against Raze mains, cause they probably put in a lot of time to perform that satchel ult you just got killed by.

As a Brimstone main myself (B3, peaked high S2), I feel he is very good at making a bad team decent. His smokes are quick and reliable at blocking off sight lines, his stim is good at convincing a team that baits into peaking out and trading with each other, and his molly helps hold sites until your team can rotate. The trade off for this is lower effectiveness at higher elos, but at where I am, he’s good enough.
Too bad he’s getting nerfed
I'm a Reyna main, but while I was figuring out who to main I found an incredible amount of toxic Reyna mains, and whenever I pick Reyna faster than them they start either flaming in chat or yelling in vc and makes us loose the game (if they choose to not skip map) that's why I don't instalock anymore and always wait until everyone chooses their character so I don't have any problems, I also try to morally support the team 💔

As a sage main, I can confirm most of us at low elo either spam "sorry I'm throwing" every time we screw up or we just don't use comms yet do better than the instalock duelists
As a Viper main 🐍, I'll comm and joke with my teams, helps make the rounds go by faster and alot more positive. Glad to see she wasn't categorized as toxic, despite the poison edge 😁
when my duo plays sage he always bullies me with walls and slows, stares me in the eye and heals himself while I cry at 3hp. he's a sova main so it makes sense.

I like having different mains for different maps. My starter main was Sova though. My favorite thing that happens to me is when I make calls only to be ignored and then watch my call be 100% accurate as I watch my team get destroyed. Should've listened to me, then this would've gone completely different. I backseat a bit, but if they want to make bad decisions, I'm not gonna stop them.
Reynas should have their own tier.

I'm someone who doesn't consider myself a reyna main, yet I have the most playtime on reyna because I when I started I only knew how to play her. I'm not toxic to my teammates ever, even if they are completely garbage, unless they are toxic to me or another teammate but when it comes to bming enemies and spamming in the all chat I'm first

Most mid elo reynas are egotistical know it alls. Obviously this doesn’t apply to every reyna player but in my experience, most of these people are either toxic as fuck or passive aggressive as fuck.

The other day I played with a chamber that didn’t use any of his traps and we got flanked 11/12 rounds. He also didn’t comm and blamed us for dying. At that point in time I was top tier toxic
i think it says a lot that 100% of the time when i take kj the other one who wanted to play her just goes "you took her :(" and i apologize and it's fine. when i take omen from someone it's 50/50 if they rage at me or they're just like "aw hell". when i dare to play chamber or neon ONE time i get instaflamed every time💀

As someone who's mained both yoru and chamber in the past. I genuinely feel like chamber's more toxic as his playstyle with the sheriff and op + tp makes him look like a duelist but he isnt. While Yorus already get flamed almost every game

@@dovahkiin3362 you should really learn how to play another character. (No, not one of the characters who usually get instalocked, then you’re in for a bad time.) I can suggest Kay/O, Skye, Sage, Yoru (but he’s difficult to learn), Omen, Brimstone, or Viper. However, it mainly depends on the way you play.

as a sentinel main i think this is about right the hours from highest to lowest for each sentinel for me is cypher, kj, chamber, than sage
As an Omen main myself I can confirm we’re good teammates we actually get flamed a lot that might be just me but hey do what you gotta do to solo carry every un-ranked game
As an omen main, I never go up against a toxic omen. They are always chill and same with omens on my team when I don't play as omen. Also Brim is the king of staying in spawn, jett the Queen for smurfing and Reyna is the Queen for toxicity

Honestly, I’m only toxic when I’ve had a really bad day, otherwise I try and give tips, help out the team, and taking fault for stuff I didn’t have anything to do with.
But I feel I am definitely the exception to the standard Jett Mains from personal experience

As a Neon main, it makes me so sad that so many other Neon players can be horrible. I played another team where the Neon user was awful and it just made me think that I don’t want people associating her character with negativity. I always try to be the best teammate I can and I wish everyone did the same 💙⚡️

As a phoenix main, its hilarious that we've been put there, but its also understandable, but at the same time, I can understand my fellow phoenix mains being toxic, phoenix being the worst duelist in the game and you main him, its going to be a bit difficult to stay chill
As a phoenix main im mostly chill and dont yell at my teamamtes but if there is a toxic player in my team and he is bottom fragging i will start yelling at him or if i jist randomly join vc on discord i start to be toxic as hell for some reason

but yeah im a yoru main and i think im fairly passive aggresive. I do an awesome entry for my team with ult and instead of pushing with the intel i gathered, they just sit back
I still get yelled at for picking Yoru and am expected to win 1v3 clutches so I tend let my team go one way and I go another to try and assist without being with them cause they get mad and say Yoru is not playable :[

I think yoru can be a pretty good team mate (i play yoru) normally they just get flamed

Totally relatable with the ulti, when I manage (through fire and hell) to get at least a kill after going out of ulti or at least gather some intel and my team just pushes like entering their own home and all get killed by the hecking reyna with judge T.T

As a yoru main since he got added , I would like to say I am most time passive aggresive or backseat. So you were kinda correct on that.
As a reyna/kj main, i try my best to be a silly guy and bring the mood up. My favorite remark I've ever made has to be "call me Shrek because I'm a believer, we can do this" we lost but we had fun and that's really the end goal
Although I do live by dish no shit take no shit so ig I'm the best of both worlds
As someone who probably deserves to be stuck in iron and is a raze main I have to agree with the passive aggressive thing although pretty much most ppl in iron are either no comms or passive aggressive. I will use skye too but I feel like a lot of skyes I’ve played with are just not toxic but they don’t use comms
I used to be a raze main. I agree about putting raze in passive aggressive, usually brag about your ability to double satchel onto site and after you get to site and die you see your teammates still hanging out in main.
for the Reyna mains, honestly from my experiences, it depends on the gender of the person maining her. Usually, the females are so sweet and the males are straight up rude.
As someone who’s non binary and mains Reyna, I’m rude to myself but nice to others and do the best I currently can despite being new to the game and FPS in general. I know I’m terrible right now but I’m trying and I also want to have fun.

As a pretty new player, this is good information to know. I've been playing a lot of Brimstone and Chamber lately, and I'm hoping to play some Killjoy soon, so I guess I average out to be not toxic. I'll take it~

As a yoru main, whenever i have another yoru on the other team or say an Instalock we honestly just compliment eachothers plays (with the enemy yoru too)

Yeah but putting Neon at the top instead of chamber is a very questionable decision. I've never seen a super toxic neon player. I was dead on with guessing every single agent up to that point. Neon I expected to be a not toxic, no comm at the worst. Very confused on that one.

nah this is right, as a yoru-kayo main when i play yoru im usually passive aggressive when my teammates dont follow my plays or ult, and when i play kayo i dont do much jus the usual knofe and flash
I picked up skye recently and did get my mental destroyed. catch me yelling "BUT HE WAS FULL FLASHED" at least once a game

as a yoru main i generally dont chat but when i do its either very nice or passive agressive
there was a sage on my team who refused to heal anyone unless they bought a gun for them, when they had like 8,000 credits.

as a low elo omen main, *yes*. i used to play ranked with no goddamn care id tp in front of someone and either die or get a kill, which works a lot bc im an iron-bronze andy. then when i found the shorty, i stopped trolling with it in unr and started using it in ranked which just pulls way too much off. by doing some kills of the nature "we do a lil trolling" i was able to stop being toxic for no reason because my kills were that funny to me and other low elos. the ranking does me and other omen mains justice
I agree to this statement. I'm a fellow omen main and I almost always buy a shorty in defense pistol round and sit inside the bloody smoke. After quite a lot of matches I can now consistently stay silent and more often than not, get 2 kills with the shorty if they push my site. And in low elo, shorty kills hype your team mates up and we have a laugh lol.
Again, hyping your team or having a laugh is surprisingly effective. I remember a game where we were on the loosing side and there was a neon in the enemy team who was stomping on us. In the second half, we were in attack phase in breeze and I was an omen or a viper, I don't remember exactly - I bought a judge and we were near b window. And lo and behold "I'm pissed" And we hear our doom running towards us. Neon rounded the corner with her ukt ready to kill everyone and there I stood. With a fking judge in attack phase. ...Plup.. One shot to the face and neon was dead. We laughed our asses off, and later went on to get a comeback ig

In my last comp game I played I got an omen who would lurk almost every round and would always just buy a shorty on eco even if they could buy a spectre or judge or anything else. They also had no idea how to smoke on attack so we had to play the game almost without smokes. It sucked.

People who play Yoru now are still bullied for picking Yoru the team just always leaves him out even when they are doing there best and they get mad at you if you don't clutch a 1v3. I feel like the nicest agents are Omen and Yoru both for the reason that you are sort of forced to otherwise your team gets angry with you for every little mistake and leaves you out from the rest of the team. ALSO Kay/O's are just always nice in comp
