I just installed this exhaust on my '15 F-150. It's a lot louder than this video makes it seem. I would give it at least a 4-4.5 on the loudness scale. The muffler that comes with this kit doesn't have any insulation or sound altering design on the inside. It's about 90% straight pipe sound. Don't get me wrong! It sounds AMAZING!!! However, it's really loud and the drone is way too much for me. I measured the sound on the inside on cruise control doing 75MPH and it sits at 90db average.. That's pretty loud when stock was 80-83 with the A/C going. It's a great product when it comes to quality and installation was pretty easy! So if you're looking for a loud exhaust that will turn heads, this is it. If I was going to do it again. I would get an exhaust that went all the way back, and not sat under the cab, which I"m sure adds to the loudness.
Sweet! Do u think this exhaust would be too much with an AEM open cold air intake? No sound when idling, but when you get on it, it can be pretty raucous...I just don't want it to be an overload, but then again I want an aggressive 5.0 sound?
Pulled the trigger on this kit. Went on fairly easy. However, I feel as if I am picking up on a slight loss in low end power. Do you/ Did you have the same issue?
Ace Karter I did it myself it's pretty easy only thing is you have to cut the new "midpipe" to fit your wheel base. other than that it's unbolt the old and rebolt the new.
+lilman1234able it's not to bad. I love it. I guess the main thing is it exits so close to the cab so there's a lot of volume in the cab. it's always there no matter if you're idling, driving normal, or hammering it. you can always hear it it doesn't go away.
+lilman1234able you're welcome yea it's definitely not for everyone. I would think if you like the sound maybe go with the one that exits behind the wheel, same sound without being so loud inside.

This is the video that I needed to see
It sounds louder inside than outside.
Rad Mitch I wouldn't say that but you can definitely hear it
I agree, but it's really loud inside. I just installed it this past weekend, and I'm not sure I can stand it.
Thanks for the help,I think with the resonator, this might be the perfect system. As long as it exits by the passenger side tire.
David Hopkins it does
I thought that looked like home!! I'd like to hear this in person sometime, I'm in the Gonzales area.
Josef Girouard yea that's no problem I'm in Laplace
in Laplace you say? nice, I work out in mt airy so they call it
Well, I finally said Fk it and ordered this system for my SuperCrew. I’ll link you when I post some videos.
Lafayette here!
Forgot to link you to my videos! I don’t have any exterior clips but here’s one from the interior:

while crusing around 50+ would you have to blast the radio to hear music?
Papakap22 you would have to turn it up a bit but I wouldn't say blast
Love the sound so I'm thinking adding a resonator will eliminate the drone. But...the system may be too short in length to add the resonator. Eh?
David Hopkins it would probably help. And I'm sure it could be made to fit
which model or MBRP did you put on the F150?

Joseph Rivera it's definitely aggressive if that's what you are looking for. This exhaust is loud inside and outside the truck.

Phillip Pound i did not notice any difference
one year later how do you still like the exhaust ? is it to loud any drone or anything you dislike??
jake fehr a year later and I still like it. It does have some drone but it doesn't bother me, I've had far worse
When you had the radio on, was it just standard volume? If so that exhaust is not had droney as I though.
yes the radio was just at a regular volume
Nice videos! Do you think this exhaust will work with power running boards?
I'm not 100% sure. I assume would assume they would as long as the boards do not go past the cab
Ok thank you for the reply.
josh fontenot On the American Muscle website I seen where it would fit with power side steps.
Kinn rights just ordered it
Awesome sound! How's your exhaust set up? Is the tail pipe in front or behind the right wheel, or dual?
in front of the right wheel
does the sound ever get annoying in the cab? even the slightest bit?
Ace Karter it doesn't bother me any
drkhorse thank you, I ordered mine! Did you install it yourself? if so was it difficult? I'm a first time dyi exhaust installer :D

Is this just a cat back system or is it with headers?
just the cat back
@drkhorse is there a lot of drone in the cab?
there is some drone
+drkhorse is it tolerable, or does it get to be too much at times??

+drkhorse hmm, I see. well it's sounds good, but I think that ruined it for me.. lol thanks for the infor.
