Thanks for posting this video. I have been considering this kit and like you found very little online/ on TH-cam. I may just pull the trigger. In one of your responses, you mention some drone at 2k rpm. I wonder is leaving the resonator would address that. I like nice sounding, louder exhaust but I spend a lot of time in it and drone is no go for me. Good video. Thanks!
@PirateMTH_ToddH glad I could help in your search. The drone isn't bad, but it is there a bit and wanted to be honest about it. The resonator could possibly take care of that. I'm still loving the sound though. My truck doesn't stay in that rpm much, so doesn't bother me at all. I still can't believe the best sounding exhaust I've found is this cheap lol.
Just got mine on last weekend. I posted a video. No matter what you do the tips are angled like that. It bothers me a lot. The little metal bracket welded to the top of the 2 end pipes is holding it in that position. I guess if you want the top of the tips parallel with the angle of the side of the rear bumper you’ll like it. Going to cut the tap off and re-weld it so the tips are parallel with themselves and not the bumper. Like how the roush and AWE kits are. Other than that I had a hard time getting the new end into the factory flange. If I had a pipe expander to open up the factory flange a bit more it would have went right in. Also the hangers seemed to be a little too short. Once I got everything tighten up, the hangers were about 1/4 - 1/2 away from being flush with the rubber. I don’t think there going anywhere but it would have been nice to have them all the way through the hanger or to have a some kind of flair at the end to keep them from early sliding out of the hanger. I might tack a screw head or something on the end of each hanger if I see there backed out a lot since installing it.
Interesting you had the issue with the hangers. Mine have been good and haven't moved. Good to know on the tip alignment. I'll check out your video.
Does it drone at all in the cab of the truck?
I get a little bit under load at about 2000 rpm or so, but not bad. Either highway or around town, my truck cruises outside of that rpm, so it's rather quiet inside the cab.
Obvious that has a coyote in it wish they could make an eco-boost sound like that.
That would be a tall order, for sure.

Yes, you can.
I just got this delivered today. I have the same truck, 2016 crew cab but the 6.5’ bed. Hoping it still fits. I believe just the resonator pipe is longer so any axle back exhaust should fit.
