Brandon, I’ve been a weekend Uber/Lyft driver for almost 5!years. I have mastered the art/skill to be able to quickly read someone and instantly know how to adapt to they personality type. Because of this trial by fire, I have zero fear of picking up the phone and talking to strangers. I have countless real estate conversations on my Uber/Lyft trips every weekend. Almost every one I transport gets my card, especially if I pick them up or drop them off at a nice home. If you’re afraid of cold calling, be an Uber driver for a while. That fear will rapidly disappear. That’s just what has helped me. You will know you’ve conquered your fear of the phone when you can call a nationally broadcasted sports radio show and debate the host for like 15 minutes forgetting that millions of Sirius XM users can hear every word you’re saying. You live by sword. You die by the sword. Just start dialing for God sakes. That phone sits between you and whatever income you desire to make. Don’t let the damn phone win!
Excellent video! I am generally a very confident person and finding the one thing that makes me uncomfortable (cold calling) has been difficult for me. My fear surrounding cold calling really comes down to the fear of the unknown. What’s going to come up in this conversation that I may not have the answer to? I personally don’t have a fear of rejection, but the unknown has been my down fall. This video was right on time! Thank you!!

Now I am in week one of following exactly what you share and guess what last night I did two virtual presentations one for a divorce case which I got it in the bag 😄 the second was an absentee owner that has no clue how much equity he has. I mean literally daily I am generating more leads then ever. Super excited and now it became fun honestly I laughed now when people become mean I just take it as a joke and he (caller) doesn’t know that I am truly trying to help him. When I call with the thought that my goal is to genuinely help them and be curious as to why they think and always ask permission 🎯

But eventually, it just becomes second nature. You stop thinking about it and just enjoy the ride, you quickly perform emergency stops and know what to look out for to drive safely. Yet, a lot of people will buy a bike, let it sit for a few years, after only a thousand or 2 miles on the odometer, and sell it.
