Actually, dragonites community day move was Draco meteor, outrage is in its normal movepool so can be evolved anytime. Only salamence needs its comm day move for outrage

its used heavily in raids not really on grunts since it doesnt have a hard hitting fast move like for example kyogre against ground but can be used against leaders since its spammy
Shadow Mewtwo is also worth getting a second move - Ice Beam is very good as a general dragon (Mega Ray one day!) counter. I've even used it with Flamethrower and Thunderbolt for certain pokemon - it's also very strong with Shadow Ball, against itself, but then you will likely be juggling ETMs based on raids and counters
I keep tags for comm day event reruns/frustration events so i can just mark them as i catch them and take care of everything in one go once the event comes around

@@lolspartain i use poke genie, you can list all ur good pokemon there by screenshooting them, then you can run raid simulations which puts ur BEST avaible team you have at certain raid bosses then you can use it as ur raid party team it also shows ur average percentage of how much you would take a legendary solo
I did not know about the Frustration removal part of this weekend until I saw a Reddit post, and I am glad I saw it. I now have two very nice Shadow Machamps on my account, and the one that I evolved today was a 98% 14/15/15. It will go well in raids/Rocket encounters once I get it powered up.
Just throwing this out there but if you get a shadow hitmonchan with PVP looking IVs (low attack high defense & HP) it's a beast in great league. Dual move with power up punch and your choice of elemental attack (ice beam, fire punch etc) and you can really cause chaos against grass, flying, dark, ground, steel and normal pokemon. Plus power up punch is super quick to charge and the 2nd moves only take a second longer, it's very difficult for your opponent to know what's coming at them and whether it will KO them or not.
awesome list and video! I wish i could get some decent IVs for these. I feel like they are always junk. at with almost 3000 rocket battles down... its frustrating trying to get a good one. I still don't have a hundo shadow of any.
A 0% shadow is still stronger than a normal hundo by a fair margain so I wouldn't fret. Trainer Tips even has a recent video about how unimportant IVs really are
Surely worth an honorable mention for Starly with the Community Day coming up next week. Get them prepped so you have Shadow versions without having to unlock a 2nd move to make it useable.

When we don’t have the time to do many team rocket battles (and so don’t have the opportunity to have great IVs), what are the minimum IVs you would recommend to max shadow Pokemon ? Because they are really expensive…
I've maxed a 15-13-13 shadow tyranitar to level 50, used a charged TM for smack down, and dual moved it for crunch and stone edge... that was expensive. I think it depends on the pokemon though because I have a level 40 shadow mewtwo that's like a 15-10-13, if it wasn't Shadow Mewtwo I probably wouldn't have done it. In reality we make a much bigger deal over IV's than they really are worth. Yes a 100% IV mewtwo is better than a 80% IV but the difference is truly minuscule. A 10-10-10 shadow anything is more powerful than a 15-15-15 non shadow of the same pokemon. The only downside to maxing a 10-10-10 out is you may find a better one later on but the 10-10-10 will still be very good.
Personally, anything in the 80's (preferably 14/15 Attack) is worth it. Particularly if I know I'll get a lot of use out of them (like Machamp, Mamoswine and Tyranitar).

I have hundreds of charged TMs. I find it far more efficient to go into items, click on a charged TM, and that brings up pokemon to use it on. Type “@fru” and that is enough to find all the frustrations. That way you can just move on to the next one as soon as you finish the first.

Shadow pokemon are just so good in terms of dps that ivs really don't matter when comparing them to non shadows. Tbh ivs really don't make that much of difference (only 5% diff at max) unless you need that marginal difference in pvp Tldr; always keep shadows

yea but only if the events gives the special move by evolving also, theres no guarentee we are getting certain event moves so might as well just use elite TMs since thats their purpose
if you start investing into bad ivs shadows you will not have any stardust. Shadows are expensive. Powering to level 40 means 300k stardust, to level 50, 600K. and a level 40 shadow 100% is already like a level 50 and 0% shadow so yes IVs do matter in terms of perfomance and stardust
The concept of there being a meta honestly kind of ruins pvp for me. Like I can't begin to describe just how sick I am of fighting skarmory over and over again. I wish people would come up with their own teams and strategies instead of just doing what some spreadsheet or youtuber told them to do. Imagine playing something that's supposed to require strategy and not having to come up with any sort of strategy. It is pretty funny though when I manage to make someone with a full meta team rage quit with just my Kangaskhan. My god that's a fun one, but not one you see too much of. I might actually invest 50 rare candies into my great league Kangas so that I can unlock a 2nd charge move for outrage. I've come to find though that my Kangaskhan is a really good pokemon to open with. It's only weak to fighting type so I don't have to worry as much about being pitted against something super effective from the start.
All of these shadow pokemon you mentioned, does it need to have great iv because I mostly have all these shadow pokemon but their iv is no so great. Does it still apply to being great pokemon or is it not worth having because their iv suck.

Shadow Mamoswine is definitely my most used mon. Ice and Ground are good in so many situations. Weavile and Mewtwo come in close behind.

4:31 outrage is not the exclusive cd move for dragonite, its cd move is draco meteor, it can learn outrage with a regular charge TM

no, not at all, you want at least a 3 star for raiding, and the higher the iv's the better. pvp, well, check the pvp stat rankings

1 and 0* aren't generally worth keeping, unless they have good PVP IVs.

I usually only invest into shadows that are hundo after purify unless it has 15 attack, for example i have a 15/7/15 magikarp which Im still gonna invest into but short answer you can invest in bad ivs shadow but they are very expensive maxing one to 50 is 600k stardust, which is one of the big reason only to invest into good shadows
Quick question, does it matter if the ivs is bad?.., sometimes I get bad ivs shadows even though they good pokemon then I end up transferring them, just wanna know if they worth keeping even if the ivs is bad

I have a shadow charmander but it's IVs aren't great (1 star with 1.1 bars in attack). Is it still worth it to evolve this during this event?
