Please ask jo to do her version of this! It’s rare to have black women represented on socials so when I look up how people theme and edit their Instagram pictures and I try to apply the things that they do, I always end up looking washed out and the same tips dont always work for me. I’d love to hear how she does hers!

just wanted to add a little tip i like to use: i've found that an instant way to balance your insta feed is by posting selfie-misc-selfie-repeat. As in, if a pic has you/people/your body parts in it, make that every second post. Then have misc. photos of books/buildings/etc in between. It looks very good, and saves you from having to post photos of yourself all the time! x

Generally the rule of thumb is *threes*, not twos. In design of all types, it's usually best to focus on odd numbers.
The HSL editing it a game changer tho. I use VSCO, but never that feature and I may need to upgrade.
