  • Today i decided to a nose around Shoreham port and Southwick East arm just have an update on conditions as my previous visit was back in October. The port is a great back up venue if the sea is un fish-able.
Big shout out to SALTWATER ANGLER he has helped with my promoting my channel in his last video. Please check him out here and give him a Sub if you haven't already :) / @saltwaterangler

I used to fish on the port, but it gets too silly with the kids fishing there. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the kids getting involved, but it just got too silly with them throwing rocks and stuff into the water. I may try again later in the year. I'm thinking of having a go at Seaford beach on Tuesday.

Yeah I get what you mean, it is also known as the chav pond which also sums it up in that sense. Seaford is a place I've never fished but I heard of some good plaice catches from there the last few days so fingers crossed for you. Tight lines.

So many happy memories. I now live in the West Country but was born and bed in Brighton and spent many an hour skiving off school and fishing all the arms in Shoreham using red rag dug by the Adur. Thanks for the video👍🏻👍🏻

Excellent thank you. I was intrigued by the by catch being dumped and the potential of congers ect. Keep these vids coming I have to agree with not paying to fish. I'll keep this video saved as it's a great reference. Thanks for the shout out.

It's something I totally believe about there being big fish in there. A couple of years ago I was doing some lrf fishing on a hot summers calm day and the lock gates were opening and you notice the current start pulling in that direction and it sucked a load of weed away from the side of the wall and a decent size eel of 7-8lb came swimming out from where the weed was. It was either a small conger or a giant silver eel. I know someone who has caught mackerel in there in the past to which is surprising. I think the taking into count the size of those gutted flat fish they must of been dumped off a boat or maybe its secret venue for big flat fish :)

I walk around the lady bee area most days in my lunch break as I work close by. It's amazing what you can see there, more than most would imagine.

The new units are Industrial units. I asked when I came to pick up a motorcycle. No I won't pay to fish. Fished there for donkeys years. If they put something into it it might be different!
