Quick fish and look around Shoreham port and the river Adur.

Today i went and had another look and also had a quick fish up Shoreham Port and the river Adur. No fish today but it was nice to get out and add it to my vlog for a reference.

saw a mullet today in my local estuary south wales so im sure they are about down your way wont be long now until they show in numbers fish crab lots of bass around at the moment thats what they are feeding on

A day like that I could fish all day and not care less if I did not catch any fish.

Flounder still around in the adur, dig some worms, if you can?

You going to come and have a go at the Conger and big undulates off the peir in a month or so? Saying that had a 3lb codling off the peir last week, I've not seen one of them come up since I was a kid

Well done on the codling, nice eating size. Have been tempted to fish the pier but I'm lacking a decent drop net, I want to try and make my own but need to keep an eye out for some netting. Going to keep trying from the shore this year, hopefully it will be achievable. ✌️

@@Fishingbug yeah I don't see any reason why they won't be patrolling close in, that's where the food is, especially after a blow. Yeah I need to get a net. For what they are they sent cheap. Thinking about using a hula hoop if I can pick one up at the car boot, you can get pretty hard wearing plastic netting from the garden shop I think, the thick stuff I use to keep gulls off my pond would do it I think, anyway keep up the good work! Maybe sort out a hound mission when they come in 👍

@@geoffsaunderson5766 yeah looking £30 for a drop net that still isn't potentially big enough. I keep eyeing up my kids trampoline enclosure net lol apparently someone once turned up at the pier with hula hoop drop net it folded in half just with the water in the net😅. Making a triangle shaped one is meant to be the way forwards. Remind me closer to the summer and I will see what we can sort a hound session out ✌️

@@Fishingbug PVC pipe is pretty maluable after a blast with a heat gun or blow torch, you got me thinking now, feel a mission coming on lol
