at 2:18 super simple you need a digital piano with a loopback audio interface and a printer cable. to send bluetooth audio to Koala. way more convenient than screen recording

Much simpler for me to down load the TH-cam file to phone and sampl with Koala from there. Some drum samples don't mesh well with chords. It takes a little getting used to.
Ahhhh man you had me going with the title bro. That’s not the best way that’s the best and easiest with the gear you have. An interface of course would do that. Love ya work though.
Appreciate ya! For whatever reason I didn’t think of this. Hopefully one day we will be able to do this by just connecting your phone or iPads to each other with a cable or via Bluetooth. That’s up to apple to allow for that type of routing. Until then, this is the best way!!! IMO 😎
Never tried to sample from SoundCloud but I’m sure that’s another option! I like this place the best though th-cam.com/video/z9j76L7nqRk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6SbhRru9BvhPxJF-
@@Khordmaster Yeah, I purchased songs from itunes and they appear in your Music app library that you can then play on your ipad. I want to sample some synth sounds from songs by my fave group Imperative Reaction.
Of course but I don’t like that. You then have a video file that takes up more space than you need. And I just would rather press and hold a pad to grab the part being played
hi, im about to hit the buy button on koala (despite also having an sp mk2 🙄) what wasnt clear is how you got sound from the opz into koala. is the opz also connected into your keyboard and then into ipad/ koala via usb C? does anyone know if koala accepts a direct bluetooth connection ie iphone bluetooth to ipad bluetooth and koala can see/ access the audio? jb xx
@@Khordmaster the iPads are doomed ! Apple hates the iPads and the patent they got is for a laptop with a touch screen that is removable not an iPad Pro ! People don’t see what’s coming ! I do ! Now it’s bye bye time ! 👽✌️
the program is cute to play arround but is missing allot of capabillities. Allot of features are missing or kept out no control on the effects, no mixer undo button could be better intergrated. No plugins. Now I have to switch between programs like caustic
I like your way too. It’s just more like recording through an audio interface.

Cool! I like how you bobbin yo head to Beethoven
Lmaoooooo thanks man 😭😭😭
If you have AUM and Tube Audio Unit, that works as well. It’s more of a process but if you’re already using AUM is easy peezy
I gotta check tube audio again. The one time I tried it it didn’t work well
screen recording is the best thing ever. You can do it anywhere not just at home
Amazing video. Here watching, Learning and catching up on your videos 🙏🏾❤️
I was so hyped bro, don't do this click bait to me :(
Lol 😂 maybe its a little click bait but also im genuinely hyped about this and maybe others didn’t realize this method
Get AUM and get TH-cam audio unit
Your keyboard is your audio interface, this works best for you I see. It might not work for everybody.
Word
So basically your using your piano as an audio interface correct?
Good idea, but I feel like there shouldn't have to be so many work arounds to just sample audio that's playing off the same device your app is on
Agree 100% … the dev said its an iOS issue.. maybe that gets resolved eventually?

How do you download the TH-cam file to phone though?? I haven’t found an easy way to do that yet
@@Khordmaster There are several online TH-cam to mp3 sites. Takes a few seconds.
@@tonykellydjt2805 that can be used from phone/iPad or only computer ?
Is the ui color change in the thumbnail not real? I want to be able switch off of the red and blue color scheme
It’s a radically color corrected thumbnail sorry for confusion haha

yes what you did here was that you used the keyboard as an audio interface, because that exactly what you can do with an audio interface,,
doesn't Soundcloud have better audio quality so sample from?

How do you record in performance mode? I can't figure it out. Help.
Hamburger menu, record song

Glad you enjoyed!!!
2024 and still no way to record internal audio?
I know mannnnn it’s an Apple thing not koala from my understanding but yeah we need that ASAP
