- Ive been expecting Daiwa to come out with a Tatula Air bait finesse reel due to the popularity of the Curado BFS... Ive taken matters into my own hands and made my own!

I really like your videos and I would really like to see you do a review on the diawa tutula SV70. I think it's a bridge between both worlds as far as batcastors go.
Cool that you did a video on this. I bought the t33 back in mid 2021 for my sv tws to have a dual-purpose reel and save money. It worked fine down to the trout magnet, so I was super happy with the spool. I mostly throw around 1.5 to 3.5 grams with it. If I had another tatula I would do it again. I later switched out a bearing and it hangs with the rest of my bfs reels even better. One good reel, 2 spools, 2 purposes, with about $210 in it. A good way for a person who has these reels to get in on the game for cheap. Thanks for the video.
I sensed with 2lb line it could probably handle a trout magnet pretty good considering how it casted 1.5 grams on 4lb

I put one of these spools on my own tatula 100 along with new boca bearings a couple years ago and have been successfully using it as a cheap bfs reel for a while now
it gives off a light whistle sound when casting but it does the job
The front page is 2018 Tatula SV TW Chinese special supply, it stop producing in 2021.
Right now Salamander SV TW, another Chinese special supply model replaced it.

Wow that reel has been discontinued a few years. The only thing I can think of is to find out the JDM equivalent Revo Elite and see if they made a spool for that reel

absolutely, Ive caught some monster crappie on bfs tackle, and it was really fun. Check out the video review on the Ace Hawk AG Venom, i catch some nice crappie in it

I'm not sure what is being achieved here. I'm pretty new to fishing gear and fishing in general. 7:00 Question: If the spool is lighter then it will also spin quicker, however I noticed the diameter of the Pink Spool, it larger, which means it May not spin faster, and you are losing line length.
Maybe you are targeting some small fish?

what is being achieved is turning a standard Tatula CT into a reel than can cast ultralight baits
Can I ask why not try spool on the CT type r? Will it fit?

these spools wont fit any zillions or any Tatulas using the original frame

the current aftermarket spools for the 80 are kinda lame so Ill wait. Plus I wanted to make this more budget friendly
I use tw80 + shallow spool + hybrid ceramic bearing
@@THEREELTEST I believe the Tatula 80 alone is a Tatula air it self. Maybe better than the original Tatula with a modified spool.

The inside of the pink spool look too skinny. What of you hit a big fish, won't the torque break those tiny little bone 😮😢
good question, if you have your drag set pretty loose it will protect the spool

Slx bfs is way better than the Colorado one…. Also don’t waste your money and time changing spools just get the dark wolf ultra reel it’s like $60-80 and it throws 2-10 gram
