Its a niche that have been growing slowly! I was able to do this 2 years ago with the alpha air tw with the chameleon diy spool. Just didn't do too much fishing. Maybe I should make a few fishing episodes putting it to use!

Nice. Thanks for the videos. Informative. Another thing is the total cost of getting new spools or bearings. What is the estimate ? 60-70% additional cost ? If the company's gave an realistic option for example an extra spools, what would the total cost be ? 😀🐟🐟
I dunno the math... But it might be some thing worth it for folks who want to tune reels to their liking. There are no standard in bfs reels and rods, so if one needs to tune... We pay to do it regardless of cost! Lol
I also think it is unrealistic for dual spools in a bundle. What is likely gonna happen is that neither spool fits someone's need lol! Look at all those CDM double spool reels. They don't last that long on the market
Really nice UL conversion. Keeps the trout magnet folks happy. No need to change the bearings which adds more cost and can be a pain in some Daiwa reels. Using the Roro spool in the Tatula 70 makes the most sense since it's sold in the US.
Awesome video! Thanks for the info on the new spool. I have the Salamandora SV 70 so would love to see you use that for the next video . And I have quite a few of those VMC jigs got them for small creeks and ice fishing for trout. 👍🏼

I think you are going to have to get a pool to do your demos. You are such a good fisherman that you keep catching fish and interrupting the demo. But I think we can overlook the interruptions because catching fish is great. Be blessed. My friend.

How much lower u wanna do with alphas air tw. I like the Roro spools, they can go really light! Check out some of my cast testing videos. I may get their latest version which is even much better as they have a ball bearing on the shaft itself!

I mean... If ur using a float, likely the float is weighted right? So u likely won't need a spool for that. The stock spool is all you would need. But if you still need a lighter spool, try this one baitfinesseempire.com/product/roro-diy-x-spool-ax22/
It's a new reel and I was dialing it in. But there were really no birdnest. Bird nest is a term where over spooling is so bad that one need to pick it out. These were all minor over spooling from timing. If you look past that, you can see accurate and distance.

Will do, but I won't be changing bearings for the time being. Gonna show stock capabilities first and potentially may change if needed later on.
