I greatly enjoyed that. No trash talk, very calm, super visually, and the stretch to so many different parts of the body. Perhaps it could be good to warn right from the start that one should be warm for that. Getting up in the morning to do this routine would get me killed :)
HI, I love your workouts as you know, and you have been so kind to me by replying to my questions. Well, I finally had an MRI and I have a lot of issues with my foot, ankle, fibula/peroneal nerves. I am doing nerve gliding exercises and I feel they are helping. But, can you please recommend which one of your workouts would be good for lower body workout I can do, and I don't know if it is good to do every morning (I am retired) or do a workout splitting up lower 3x wk, upper 3x wk? I am getting LMT and Chrio help as well. Oh, quick update, once I get better, I have permission to do your workouts at our new gym. Thank you for allowing me to do so, and I will print a document with your website and You Tube channel info. Thank you once again!
Sorry to hear about your foot issues Cynthia. I'm not sure what to recommend, because I don't know what you have been told not to do. Are you supposed to avoid certain exercises? Do you need to be off it all together? If you can please give me a little more Information so I can make some video recommendations. Also, I rarely do just upper body and lower body workout separately. Most of my workouts are whole body, so that may be a little tricky creating a schedule that splits the body.
The only thing I am not to do is to over do it. I have been working out for so long I know how to listen to my body and stop if it is painful. I have a lot of tendonitis in my foot and ankle, plus tarsal tunnel, mortons neuroma, a little achilles bursitis and plantar fasciitis. I just gently work around all of the issues. My poor foot is a mess, but all of this occurred on Christmas. I feel I am on the mend I just thought if I could concentrate on more of a floor lower body stretch that would work to loosen up glutes, hamstrings, calves, ankles because I was told I am tight in those areas. The LMT and chiro are not helping me with the stretching issue. I can't do yoga- too much ankle stress. You are the only I trust on line. LOL. I am doing upper body sitting on a chair. All of this drives me crazy as I have always been a go, go, go girl and very strong and active. LOL
PS: If you don't have a workout , could you help me in the best order to stretch. I am trying to figure out, start with the feet and work up to the butt, or opposite. It seems everyone has a different opinion of this, and you have the most experience and knowledge. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me! 🥰
I feel for you Cynthia, I find it hard to sit down as well! Now that I understand you want more stretching I would recommend mat pilates. Nice. I love the side lunge...one of the few stretches to get the top of the ankle. Took my hands of the chair to really get deep on that one. Those side stretches make me feel 2 inches taller when its all said and done. Thank you !
