It doesn't seem too different from dual boot of Ubuntu I used to do 10 or more years ago, except for the secure boot 😂 Thanks for the tricks and advices!
I'm not an expert and I'm waiting for my Legion Go today, but I used to "play" with Windows+Ubuntu dual boot some years ago. Take the following just as an idea. The only way I think you can is removing the ssd and loading it on another pc, using some tools for partition it (I used gparted from a livecd), doing the procedure, and then correcting the bootloader/grub/UEFI/MBR or what it's now on destination (it should be LegionGo ssd, so secondary drive from another pc). If I'm not wrong I used EasyBCD on windows. I remember it being frustrating and not so straight forward 😅 Also I suppose the ssd is encrypted by default, so you should disable the secure boot/disc encryption before (maybe not enough). So a way can be found, but I'm not sure I want to try that again 😂
Maybe but I would gather it would be harder but you can do it I believe but you will still need a hub anyways so you can connect a USB stick with the bazzite ISO installed onto it. I would strongly recommend going with the tutorial directly on bazzites site as it's way more thorough then this one.
Unfortunately the game would have to be installed under both Windows and Bazzite. There is a method for sharing an SD card between the two OSes, but might be risky.
It’s called ReFind - my advice to get it to work is follow the instructions closely. If you go out of order it’s a pain and you have to restart the entire dual boot process

Best video I’ve seen for this. Thanks!
You are my hero. This worked perfectly!
Very helpful. Thanks for the tutorial.
Very good video. Easy to follow
Question. For a brand new LeGo, can I do this process before setting up my LeGo for the first time?

Great video bro can you do a video on how to install windows 11 on steam deck oled?
If I decided I don't like Bazzite and want to remove it, is it anough to delete the new partition(s)? Are there Windows booting issues then?
Yep just that simple
So once i install bazzite can go into gaming mode like the steam deck? I not need to do nothing more?
possible to install bazzite without using physical keyboard?

If i had some games installed on windows can i play it on bazzite too?
Or i need to install again in the bazzite disk partition?
Thats good question

So i have the 512gb model and can only make a small partition. Can anyone give me advice on how you get more than the 79gb it will allow me
Hey Yeah, So when you shrink the drive you can put 79000 that will give about 75GB of storage
Yea same here man but I assume you can add a bigger ssd at a later date and shrink or expand to your desire
I got every thing installed however I got stuck on when steam loads it just endlessly loops the checking screen any one else have this issue or a fix?
Wish there was an available boot menu you could setup to easily select which system you boot into.
there is
Mind sharing how?@@KawoskiKoh

@@ryneraymond7661 i already fixed it with refind.thanks
Can I download Bazzite on the internal storage instead of using an extra storage?
Sadly enough you need the external storage to do this, as it's like installing windows from a USB stick when the system has no OS on it.
What if u wanted to boot from a memory card only can u have it running that way?
Yes you can boot from SD card, you just have to format the SD card to NTF to be viewable in the boot menu
You can do that but the performance hit would be massive as SD card read/write speeds are slow.
Great tutorial, thank you!
